With a near-perfect emulation of the original classics and the possibility to change nearly every parameter possible, this is just what the 2D shoot'em-up enthusiast needs. It's true that adding collectible extras would be welcome and the compilation would be even better if it included G-Darius, but being focused on the 2D legacy of the series, Darius Cozmic Collection Arcade is more than worthy of featuring on every shoot'em-up fan with a Nintendo Switch.- Starbit

Nekopara Vol. 4 continues the series of Visual Novels with the particularity that unlike most of its peers, there are no multiple endings here, but that's not necessarily negative. This chapter features a marvelous visual presentation, as well as a plot full of comedic and absurdist elements that will amuse everyone, though its risqué elements can feel exaggerated sometimes.- Starbit

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition is a very competent port of an amazing game that shows the Switch 2 can handle such endeavours without issues. Playing RE7 on the go feels like the game has finally taken a much welcome step forward when it comes to atmosphere and immersion, and the experience really benefits from being played as a handheld game and with a headset. On top of that, the inclusion of its DLCs with Gold Edition make this an unmissable release.- Starbit

MIO: Memories in Orbit is an exquisite looking Metroidvania that plunges the player in a sci-fi adventure where the plot is drip-fed and the typical mechanics of the genre work exactly as they should. The start feels rather slow and underwhelming but as the game progresses, we find ourselves thinking the opposite, which makes MIO more suited to experienced players. Thanks to a flawless technical performance on the Nintendo Switch 2 and fine-tuned controls, MIO always feels right to play, and some of its difficulty barriers are addressed by the game's options.- Starbit

Simple and accessible, the main asset of Gloomy Eyes' cooperative, single-player gameplay lies on solving its succession of puzzles and challenges while keeping track of what surprises the plot will bring us next. Although the camera could use improvements, Gloomy Eyes shows how it is possible to tie an animated movie to an adventure game and to keep us holding on to the very end, not because we are scared but because we want to see and do more.- Starbit

GRID Legends: Deluxe Edition shows that it's possible to do an intense and fun racing game that joins an arcade experience with precise driving. The game comes with a healthy variety of choices and game modes and enough flexibility for players who want to create their own experiences, though the lack of competitive multiplayer of any kind is difficult to understand. Fans of racing games will be very satisfied nonetheless, as GRID Legends on the Switch 2 is a sharp and solid experience, with plenty to look forward to and a very competent technical performance.- Starbit

It doesn't quite stand out for its originality, but the gameplay experience is more than satisfying, with frantic action, a good visual world, enjoyable soundtrack and plenty of cheesy dialogue lines. With an additional layer of fun if played with two players, Huntdown on the Nintendo Switch is a recommended game for anyone looking for a fun and action-packed arcade experience.- Starbit

Cross Code is a marvelous 2D action RPG that features an interesting idea of a game-within-a-game and which treats the player to a lovely visual environment that recalls the 16-bit era right away, versatile combats, appealing dungeon exploration and plenty of freedom to wander around. Its occasional performance flaws, already under rectifying action, are not enough to tarnish the experience, which is one of the best to be had among RPGs in the Nintendo Switch catalogue.- Starbit

The combat is fun and the combos available make the experience more engaging, while the game's presentation is a charm to look at, with extra points for its phenomenal soundtrack. At the same time, ScourgeBringer has nothing particularly new that can set it apart from its roguelite peers, and its difficulty level can sometimes feel unnecessarily exaggerated.- Starbit

Mr. Driller Drill Land is a remaster of a game from a previous generation and eighteen years later, we can say that it does a good job at improving the original experience and bringing it up to today's standards. Varied, challenging and fun, Drill Land on the Nintendo Switch packs a lot of fun action, whether the experience is solo or with up to four players.- Starbit

Wonder Boy Collection celebrates 35 years of the Wonder Boy series by bringing together four of its most popular games, including one that had never been released outside Japan before. Thanks to a competent work of emulation and to a stable performance, the experience runs smoothly. Extras such as saving anywhere, rewinding the action and screen visualization options make this a user-friendly experience that contemporary players appreciate. While there was room for more content, what we have here is quite good for fans and newcomers alike.- Starbit

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition is a marvelous beat'em-up in the brawler style, with some RPG and strategic elements thrown in the mix. Obviously based on golf, the platforming, puzzle and roguelike elements make a very creative twist on the sport of stroking a ball towards a hole. The difficulty level is high, the ball gets additional properties, the game's ambient is comically sombre, and the soundtrack is exquisite. All this put together creates an original and very rewarding experience for all Nintendo Switch players.- Starbit

Arise: A Simple Story - Definitive Edition is an emotional and visually striking journey where a simple but involving gameplay will bring players to focus on the experience, while its exquisite soundtrack fits perfectly with the game's purpose. Featuring a deliberately slow pace that will soothe the most stressful souls, Arise is a very welcoming work that will fit very well in anyone's Nintendo Switch, especially in this Definitive Edition that brings a good amount of additional content.- Starbit

Pure Pool may not be brand new but this Nintendo Switch conversion shows that this pool simulator is weathering the years very well. Not only does the audiovisual component stand the test of time, its gameplay mechanics and variety of game modes, including multiplayer, fit like a glove on the expectations of pool fans. Pure Pool is without a doubt the finest pool game available on the Nintendo Switch and its welcoming price make it a very accessible work too.- Starbit

Triangle Strategy brings us a fantastic tactical RPG with a very appealing combat system, a dense and enveloping plot, and a slick visual look. Needless to say, this is a delightful experience for fans of tactical turn-based action who enjoy getting into the details of each character and plan the skills and attributes of each member of their party accordingly. A true gem that Nintendo Switch owners are lucky to have in their console.- Starbit

Alwa's Legacy successfully follows its predecessor and delivers an experience that exhibits a marvelous world to look at, as well as to explore and especially, to take part in very engaging boss fights. This is a work that easily ranks with the best among its peers and that has more than earned its right to be part of many Switch owners' collections.- Starbit

This collection of frantic minigames does just that - players are strongly encouraged to keep moving or they risk losing their game, and Move or Die: Unleashed does a great job at this. The action is crazy and constant, and while this is no visual feast, Move or Die: Unleashed is a marvelous formula for anyone who would like to spend a few hours with their friends, local or online, engaging in absolutely crazy minigames of different kinds.- Starbit

Crysis Remastered on the Nintendo Switch would have sounded nearly unthinkable a few years ago, but here we are. Even though it's been thirteen years since the original release, the game still looks slick, marvelous and vivid. With its vast world, sharp gameplay mechanics and a very good performance both on a television screen and on the Nintendo Switch screen, Crysis Remastered is one of the finest FPS experiences in the console's catalogue.- Starbit

Sam & Max Save the World Remastered is a perfect fit on the Nintendo Switch. The investment made in improving the game's audiovisual environment is worth of praise and brings this game up to today's tastes, making it something to be embraced by both veterans and new players alike. With its devilishly funny dialogues and a gameplay that can be easily handled in this new format that presents the game in one go, rather than the original's episodic delivery, Sam & Max Save the World Remastered is a marvel for everyone.- Starbit

Pokémon Legends: Arceus reinvents the formula of the Pokémon series and delivers one of the finest chapters ever made in the monster-catching universe. Its wide, open world may not look the most impressive but the exploration is very motivating, the game pace is very well executed, and the changes made to the formula with regards to the fighting system and ways of completing the quest all contribute to make this a groundbreaking game in the Pokémon series and a marvelous starting point towards a new direction.- Starbit

Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town is a fun, wholesome game that does a great job as a sequel to yet another fun, wholesome game. MOUSE: P.I. For Hire has a striking personality that grabs the player right from the beginning thanks to its art style, looks and quality writing when it comes to creating a noir world, and performs equally strongly when it comes to the game's FPS action. Even if its detective component falls below the rest of the experience, this is a very solid and captivating game that fits perfectly on the Nintendo Switch 2 catalogue, further aided by its mouse controls.- Starbit

Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg keeps itself very loyal to the original, even with a transition from 2D to 3D but the game's main mechanics remain overwhelmingly the same. This is worthy of praise, as the result is very positive and acts as a great introduction for new players as well as a pleasant return for fans of the Atelier series. Its renewal was carried out very competently, and its relaxed environment will facilitate the experience for those who want to play at their own pace. A marvelous addition to the Atelier series of RPGs.- Starbit

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy DX is an improved approach to this RPG with an alchemy-based gameplay mechanic. This DX edition improves on several technical issues, and the improved and more stable framerate and picture quality on the Nintendo Switch 2, as well shorter loading times, are a major step forward when it comes to an improved experience. Add to that all the additional content that is now accessible with the game, rather than scattered over several DLC packages, and this DX edition is indeed the best and most complete version of Atelier Ryza 2, for both newcomers and veterans alike.- Starbit
