Madden NFL 10 may well be the best Madden game. This is a great pickup for any football fan. Franchise mode is great this year. A lot more features added to give you a more in depth look at your team, and what is happening around the league. Online franchise is a great addition.

F1 2013 is the best F1 simulator of this generation and another great hit from Codemasters. It's a title that demands skill, tactics and commitment, but rewards players with a deep and satisfying experience. The AI and the damage systems might not be perfect, but it remains a great game with tons of content and options.

Despite the cel shading which might have mislead our judgment, we would like to state the following: from a technical point of view, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is the best HD conversion ever made.

343 couldn't go wrong this collection and, of course, they did not. The Master Chief Collection is a package with lots of contents, which contains the best currently available versions of all the main adventures starring Master Chief.

It's exactly what the fans were waiting for: a technical masterpiece, filled with breathtaking fights, and a rich multiplayer. It's a shame that the narrative feels so unpolished and incomplete, limiting the overall experience.

Dragon Age Inquisition is not a common RPG: it's the furious scream of Bioware, strong enough to make windows and walls rattle. It is a demonstration of skill and power that proves that the Canadian developer still knows how to put heart and brain into their projects.

The formula of the first game is hugely improved, giving countless possibilities of different play styles. Karnaca is wonderful and the level design is superb: The Clockwork Mansion is impressive and so is the level with two different fluxes of time you can jump into without constraints. The game is highly replayable, offers a mode without powers and is one of the most inspired games of this generation.

It really strikes you with enchanting visuals, delicate music and extraordinary characters. The riddles may be too easy, but, if you'll take your time to find the many different solutions, the experience will be worth all the while.

If the NBA 2K series is the LeBron James of basketball games, then NBA 2K19 is another triple double from Visual Concepts. A game with improved gameplay, a great Prelude and an incomparable presentation. Still, mind that the microtransactions are still here, and they are as annoying as ever.

It's far too easy for the harcore fanbase and it's definitely not a technical marvel, but Fire Emblem Three Houses is nonetheless a deep and rewarding strategy game and one of the best entries in the long-running franchise.

Donkey Kong Bananza is another good reason to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 if you haven't already, after Mario Kart World. But if the kart franchise will get better with post-launch support, DK and Pauline adventure is already a great game at day one, albeit too simple even for Nintendo standards. A triumphant level design and a mesmerizing destruction rage will accompany both veterans and newcomers to the center of the earth.

Ghost of Yotei is a melancholic journey that intertwines a thirst for vengeance with a sense of contemplation. It does not revolutionize the genre, but it marks a strong return for single-player experiences on PlayStation, striking where it matters: among the memories of the protagonist Atsu, which tell tragedies without the need for words. It is a game that rewards those who seek atmosphere, subdued moods, and the still open wounds in the hearts of those who fight only for themselves. Perhaps it does not shatter the giants of tradition, but it finds its voice among silences and duels, offering the player not just revenge, but a catharsis with a bitter taste of truth.

There’s a reason everyone is talking about Dispatch, and it’s because it’s a successful experiment. AdHoc Studios’ debut doesn’t aim to explode with power, but to burn slowly, like the superhero stories that have understood they’re not super anymore.

Vengeance is for Shin Megami Tensei V what Royal was for Persona 5 some years ago: the best possible version of one of the more refined and fascinating JRPGs of the last decade. This is the version to choose if you haven't played it before and the one to replay if you've already dived into the original title.

Overall, looking at the quality of the writing, the measures taken to satisfy certain segments of the public who had criticized the predecessor, the visual splendor and the magnificence of the combat system, Octopath Traveler II is not only a first-rate JRPG, but also a superior product to its direct prequel in many ways.

Dante's Inferno is not an innovator of the action genre, but a game that can entertain until the end credits. The gameplay is solid and the great design is an added value, able alone to raise the level of the production. Ultimately a title not brilliant as Bayonetta, but perfect to be played waiting for the upcoming king Kratos.
