A different title, but not an accomplished one. The gameplay is too simple and poor, leading to loads of boring situations. Considering the originality and the budget price, you could still consider it, but try before buying.

A fun golf game with no claims at all but that manages to entertain the entire family. Probably the best digital game from the Xbox One launch lineup.

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is the return of the iconic brand, but the times change and the RTS went ahead.

There are some design (and marketing) choices about Total War: Pharaoh that are still unexplainable, but some of the innovations that the game introduces are what we hope to see more in the future of this glorious saga.

Brawl Busters is a free game from RockHippo Productions very good and funny. Thanks to its simple gameplay and the large community, the game is able to entertain anyone, relying on the fast pace and intuitive controls.

An interesting prologue filled with action, jokes and our favourite team of former outlaws, but the "more of the same" feeling that the gameplay gives you is stronger than ever.

Conan Exiles is a good survival game, though only for the most enthusiastic fans of the genre.

Windbound is a good survival game, but it fails to deliver a real vibrant story and a good rhythm during exploration and crossing phases.

The typical style of ACE Studios is also evident in the Abyss Odyssey, but this project consists of a mixture of various genres that turns out to be slightly disappointing, due to a bland fighting system and a structure not sufficiently varied.

Arcania Gothic IV is devoid of some typical elements of the Gothic series, but is a good rpg. Ideal to start to become familiar with a hard role-playing game.

Quarrel is a game very fun and different. Unfortunately, in Italy his success is linked to more than a good knowledge of english: essential to appreciate the game.

Red Faction: Guerrilla is a good game, but it hasn't aged very well. Its open-world structure is only a glimpse of what the genre would become in later years. Its saving grave is to be found in the destruction mechanic, that it's still very up to date and enjoyable.

Aggressors: Ancient Rome is an old style 4X, but it is historically inaccurate and has some missing points.

The fourth chapter looks like a regular episode from the AMC series: a few zombies, a lot of dialogues, characters who act stupidly. Still, the ending is well-structured, and delivers some good moments and decisions. Not as good as the second episode, way better than the third.

Masters of Anima gaming is concept isn't original, but the game has solid bases to be enjoyable.

Lollipop Chainsaw is the quintessential Suda 51 game. It's crazy, foul-mouthed, colorful, loud and quite fun, but its also a short action game with a lacking combat system. If Suda 's particular brand of humour doesn't have any effect on you, leave it be. Get the soundtrack though, it's absolutely amazing.

With some scenario problems and a flat evolution of characters, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness succeeds in being both fun and dynamic. A fun that, unfortunately, lasts less than other JRPGs do.

Transformers 3 is an overall average action game for you iPhone: what really stands out is a good powerup system that will grant you the chance to customize your autobot in the best way for blasting away those not-so-nice Decepticons. A worthy purchase if you're a fan of the brand.

Guitar Hero franchise is known for this concept and band Hero is a spin-off no different. This is a game you can take to parties and everyone can join in no matter how much experience they have. Pop music is nice but rock is better and developers have now shown that they have run out of ideas.

Definitely an evolution if you compare it to its predecessor. It’s a bigger and better game, with the possibility of flying thrown in the mix that makes for faster pacing and exploration. Unfortunately, it’s still not that deep of a jrpg, and we recommend it only to fans of the anime or the novels.

Atelier Yumia is the classic case of a niche series desperately trying to adapt to a changing market, losing what made it unique in the process. The shift to an open-world structure, instead of expanding gameplay possibilities, reduces them to a repetitive loop of activities, while the combat system, despite a few interesting ideas, lacks depth.

Commandos: Origins is a well-executed nostalgia trip. Those expecting a major leap forward for the genre may end up disappointed, as Claymore Game Studios’ work closely follows the traditional blueprint of classic real-time tactics games, with only a handful of modern adjustments—aside from a much-needed quick save system. The end result is a game that’s as challenging as it is intriguing, rewarding well-thought-out strategies and the occasional bit of improvisation. That said, some clever ideas can fall apart due to a few too many technical hiccups—issues we hope will be ironed out with future patches.

Max The Curse of Brotherhood is a fun and challenging 2.5D platformer that will be able to keep you attached to the pad for its entire duration, despite too many bugs and an unstable framerate.

A game that is enjoyable for the whole family, from the smallest to largest. A tie-in that captures perfectly the style of Cars universe. The only flaw is the lack of online, which could affect the longevity.

Payday 3 does what every sequel aspires to do: it improves upon its predecessor in every aspect. We see a leap in technical quality, enhancements to the core gameplay, and more intricate and thrilling missions. Right from the start, it's clear why players should consider leaving Payday 2 behind and diving into this third installment. However, at launch, we are still encountering numerous bugs and glitches. While they don't profoundly affect the overall experience, they give the impression that the title could have benefited from a few more months of development. This notion is reinforced by the lack of content: eight missions, while highly replayable, feel scant, especially after the wealth of content offered by the previous game.

Dreamfall Chapter is a complete collection ported on Ps4 and Xbox One of the episodic adventures published on Pc starting from 2014, set in the marvelous world of the Longest Journey saga. The nice adventure game is supported by amazing storytelling and top notch art direction, but unfortunately is technically mediocre, and this fact is made more evident due to a not so great console porting. If you loved April Ryan and Zoë Castillo journeys, you need, no, you actually MUST play this game, but if it’s your first travel in the reigns of Stark and Arcadia, well… this is not the right chapter to start from.

Madden NFL 25 is the best American football game on the market. Mainly because it's the one and only. Even with this series EA seems to have fallen asleep, focusing more on the reaffirmation of the good aspects of the past rather than the introduction of something new.

Ereban: Shadow Legacy is a small, in the truest sense of the term, love letter to stealth that doesn't try to do anything particular to stand out within the genre, but everything it offers to players is a simple gameplay, curious in its ideas, attempting to win over enthusiasts with its modest purity. It's the classic independent production without infamy or praise that manages, in its own small way, to shine within a landscape that increasingly lacks representatives of the genre that are capable of doing something truly interesting for stealth.

Both Grandia games deserved a much better treatment than the one GungHo gave them, and we really hope the publisher will support the game in the coming weeks, but the sheer value of the titles inside this package is enough to recommend a buy nonetheless for any Switch owner.

Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star is a game made of highs and lows. Its indisputable merits counteract an equally large number of defects, which make the purchase only recommended to fans of the Fate series.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is not particularly memorable but is also an enjoyable action JRPG for every SAO fan.

Narcosis is an unconventional, intense and well written survival horror game. The abyss is a fascinating setting and the character is forced to survive and fight from inside a heavy diving suit, constantly monitoring the oxygen level. However, gameplay is too slow, awkward and inaccurate.

Foretales is a game that perfectly succeeds in creating a story of infinite possibilities. A cross between a fantasy board game and a good book set in the Middle Ages.

It is not easy to sum up a game like Might & Magic X: Legacy. It is beyond reasonable doubt a game largely based on nostalgia, but at the same time is honest and well made.

An expansion that certainly enriches the Sims experience, but not in a particularly impactful way.

If you are looking for a survival RPG, Outward has something interesting to say, but be prepared to face some of its flaws.

Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues is a small step back for a series that has so far always enjoyed those who want a light and fun game.

It will divide the fanbase. After all, is a sort of white canvas where anyone could pour their creativity without any real reason to do it. Unfortunately, is this lack of challenge that makes the game sub-par if compared to other episodes. It's still Nintendo we're talking about though, and this means that the general quality of the product remains pretty high.

Sticky Business is a more of a creative platform than an actual game, that will help you relax and express your talent. We really hope that it may work with Steam Deck in the future.

This strange “Bomberman-like” game, captivated us. It’s chaotic, colorful and fun, especially when played with friends. Unfortunately, some matchmaking problems and a repetitive structure doom it to the “could-have-been-better” limbo.

Dr. Luigi is less entertaining than its predecessor on the Wii. The new game modes are nice but not thrilling, and the multiplayer falls short. At the same time, this is a game that the fan of the series should take into consideration.

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is a good remake of a decent survival horror. The game structure is quite affected by the consequences of aging. Some terrible game design choices are very easy to spot and weigh heavily on the enjoyment of the game. The aficionados will love it despite its flaws, while the younger generation might not be convinced by such an old school game.

No Longer Home is a short-lived but compelling experience about "home" being someone and not just somewhere.

A surprising low-price platformer that's completely based on the truly smart idea of "coloring" the various platform with ink. It's a tad bit too hard in some places, but you'll never get too frustrated. Ink is basically another splendid proof that, to make good videogames, you need passion more than money and marketing. A pity the developer couldn't complete the game with all the initial ideas, but there's still time for updates.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is a step backward in this new spin-off series. It has a lot of content, but the episodic nature of the game has contributed some problems to the story and the gameplay, both of which are full of fillers. The conversion, at least, is good.

If you're looking a for an arcade title different from the rest, Snow Moto Racing Freedom might be the title for you, thanks to the absence of alternative in its genre.

Bokida isn't a title for everyone, but for those who can appreciate the exploration of a new and beautiful world it can be a nice and relaxing experience.

What we have seen so far with Wii Sports Club has positively impressed us. Some of the games are well managed while some aren't, but in general the realization of each sport is qualitatively appreciable.

Impactful and unique, JETT The Far Shore is an interesting space adventure, contemplative and thoroughly unique.

Lego The Incredibles is following the same path as the other titles of the Lego series, with almost no changes in the gameplay and no news about narrative techniques, even though this title could please the taste of the youngest players and of those who are not seeking anything unique and original.

SpellForce 3: Fallen God is an old style expansion, with lot of hours of gameplay equally divided between RPG and RTS, but if you don't like the mixture of genres, this DLC will not change your mind.

There is really nothing original in this game, but it fulfills its duty to entertain us, make us think and, ultimately, have fun. To put it simple, this game does what every good puzzle-platformer should always do.

Aphelion is a pleasant, well-crafted, and visually captivating sci-fi adventure that remains engaging to play, especially thanks to its setting and the credibility of its spacefaring imagination. DON'T NOD builds a world that is beautiful to explore and a story solid enough to carry the journey, but it never quite manages to give the gameplay the same strength as its artistic vision.

We are far from the tactical gameplay of the old Metal Gear Online games, since the new gameplay is definitely simpler and more action oriented. It still has quite a lot of potential, but some unbalancing and questionable choices keep it from being as good as it could.

Instead of another musou, Tecmo Koei brings to PS4 and Vita a decent SRPG, perfectly suited for the newcomers or for fans of the franchise who are looking for something different. There are far better similar titles on both systems, still Godseekers is a good choice for the uninitiated to the genre.

The Crackdown brand hasn't aged well. Three years in the making don't justify the complete lack of innovation, on top of it every old drawback is still there: repetitive, lacking even a simple storytelling, occasionally bugged. Even the four player coop doesn't live up to the expectations. If you played (and loved) the first one there are no reasons whatsoever to buy this sequel. On the other hand, if you don't know the brand and can live with dated graphics and obsolete gameplay mechanics, it can still be funny.

A decent DLC, with a passable storyline and good content. It doesn’t really add that much to the formula, but it’s still a good buy if you liked the base game. Separating it from the main story also gave the developers some freedom when it comes to story twist, and this is a good thing.

Renowned Explorers: International Society was a fun and challenging experience, but with few contents. The Emperor’s Challenge adds what the players want, but maybe it is not enough to start a new expedition.

Dungeons 2 is a most successful RTS/management game than its lackluster predecessor, but is not yet able to approach to the same levels of Dungeon Keeper (and after all it was obvious). This Realmforge Studios hybrid works in the management part (funny and quite deep), but loses points when it tries to be Warcraft III and offers too simplistic RTS sections with little personality.

If you’re a speedway fan you’ll definitely like this game. A repetitive structure and lacking AI kinda ruin the experience, but the two driving models, paired with the official licenses, are more than enough to convince aficionados of this discipline.

Eternal Threads is an interesting deductive game, but its writing could have been way better.

Aside from a few fun mechanics introduced by this chapter, there is nothing new here to leave you speechless. At the same time, the perpetual smiles on our faces that this title left us, compels us to recognize its merits.

State of Decay, in this Year One Edition, has confirmed to be a good title for all fans of the survival genre, with a constant struggle against the zombies that will never let a moment of respite, constantly forcing us to seek new resources to survive.

Don't underestimate this game: time will be your worst enemy, and you'll learn to fear the ticking clock. Run Rorona, run!

If you like Zelda, Metroid or platform games, then probably you will love Finding Teddy 2, despite a very long and slow start, and the lack of explanations and indications throughout the entire game.

It's all about level design, and Faery shows some goodness. SHame for the lack of depth, and the sometimes small locations.

Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is a metroidvania enjoyable for both casual and hardcore players, as long as you don't expect a complex gameplay or huge replayability.

The slow, idyllic exploration, paired by some good narrative make Everybody's gone to the Rapture something that should be played, but only by those with patience. It's a sluggish walk to the end, that pays off, but probably not enough for many players.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising lacks those master strokes that could have made it better, but it's enjoyable for 2D fantasy's lovers.

Much more enjoyable with Kinect, Get Fit with Mel B is a fairly good fitness game, lacking some original exercises and online options.

Ironically, this game is indeed a soup, full of different elements and with a pretty good taste. It's definitely not the deepest game around, but it will keep you entertained for a while. Probably the best “soup making simulator” around, which is not saying much, but still.

Shape of the World is a short, beautiful and relaxing trip through an absurd world; it has some minor problems but it works well in its various moments.

A batch of new content that will satisfy fans of the franchise. Still, the fact that there are no new weapons weighs heavily on the whole package, even if the new maps are quite good.

Like Verdun, also Tannenberg is a good historical FPS set during the WW1, but there is already a lack of players.

Fuel is without a doubt a complete game, that thanks to the numerous unlockable areas, cars, challenges and so on, reaches an enviable longevity. Unfortunately the gameplay lacks all the functionality typical of the competition, and there are some techincal issues that ruin the overall score. Fuel is a game for all arcade-off-road racing games, but beware as you won't find the dynamism of Motorstorm nor the attention to detail of Pure, but a different game, with good free-roaming gameplay.

Bard's Gold is a game with great balancing, a functional structure and a lot of secrets to find. It's simple and immediate, but it works and pushes the player to the limit without ever frustrating him.

Mosaic is a not so far dystopian future.

It’s much harder to create an enjoyable video game where you play as a police officer than one where you play as a criminal – and the reason is quite simple: in the latter, the core of the fun lies in the illusion of having no rules, in the freedom to do whatever you want. In the former, however, it’s precisely the adherence to protocol that forms the foundation of the experience, making any attempt at a free-roam style game, like The Precinct, inevitably more “simulative” and routine-based. This, in fact, is something Fallen Tree Games’ title does very, very well. Set in a convincingly stylized 1980s atmosphere with a fitting soundtrack, The Precinct offers a gamified version of just about every aspect of being a virtual cop: issuing fines for vandalism, dealing with gang wars, handling traffic duties, calling in backup, investigating murders, and even stopping robberies in progress. Where The Precinct struggles is in its gameplay loop. By its very nature, it doesn’t easily lend itself to a long-lasting gameplay experience, and its momentum starts to fade a bit before the game itself actually ends. Technical rough edges still present in the build also occasionally hold it back from fully shining. Yet despite these issues, it remains the most successful “police simulator” to come out in a long, long time — less rigid than its competitors, sharp in its atmosphere, and incredibly stylish in its direction and art design. It may not be GTA, nor its opposite with a badge, but it’s a game with personality. And while it’s true that playing the good guy in a video game can feel less exciting than playing the bad one, The Precinct proves that it can still be satisfying.

Warriors Orochi 3 is definitely one of the best Musou action games out there. If you like the genre it's a must have. On the contrary, if you can't stand a repetitive campaign and simple fighting mechanics, this title won't change your mind.
