    Replay value is fairly low, save for the opportunity to pick up any missing achievements. There are 3 difficulty levels, so you could try to play through on a harder level, but we don't anticipate doing so.

    Transformers 3 is an overall average action game for you iPhone: what really stands out is a good powerup system that will grant you the chance to customize your autobot in the best way for blasting away those not-so-nice Decepticons. A worthy purchase if you're a fan of the brand.

    Transformers 3 gives the player a nice sense of freedom, since you can transform anytime you want. The single player campaing is short but challenging, you can upgrade your weapons and abilities and the graphics are well done. What a pity the action is very repetitive.

    Fans of the franchise will enjoy this game, as will fans of shooters, but I fear there is little to keep anyone interested for very long. Each level only takes 10-20 minutes to complete, and the game can easily be beaten in a day.

    Even the most dedicated Transformers fans will likely feel let down by this one, perhaps being left wishing they'd transformed their dollars into something else instead.

    You can toss Transformers: Dark of the Moon onto the pile (it's more of a mountain, really) of terrible movie based video games. It's one thing to see this from the likes of Activision, but with EA's success on the App Store, we expected better.
