May 9, 2023You might not spend enough time with Ao and Bo in No Longer Home to truly care about their feelings. But if you’re a graduate yourself, you’ll undoubtedly relate to the themes brought up in the game and reminisce over your own tumultuous time as you finished your university course. It’s only brief, but No Longer Home manages to capture real feelings and emotions in a tangible, powerful way.

Apr 2, 2023No Longer Home is a short-lived but compelling experience about "home" being someone and not just somewhere.

Mar 6, 2023Although No Longer Home offers an emotionally reflective narrative that will resonate with it's players, I personally feel there were areas which could have been explored further. The game is passionately written with relatable characters, yet the ending felt abrupt and as though I was left waiting for more. Overall though, the laid-back gameplay and simple controls make for a chilled couple of hours, and is a strong first game with clever ideas from developers Humble Grove.

Mar 20, 2023It is really hard to recommend No Longer Home as a game or even as a meaningful experience. It is way too personal for it to be largely relatable and way too shallow to hit truly hard or touch some emotional topics. Not to mention that there’s literally no gameplay at all. No Longer Home lacks puzzles or any other adventure-like elements. Judging by how the story flows, this feels more like a visual novel with dialogue choices having no influence on the final outcome.
