The Sims 4 on Xbox One is a good launch if you have not the oportunity to enjoy the game already on PC, or if you don't have a computer capable of moving it, despite its moderate requirements. The soundtrack is still fantastic and the personality of the sims is here, but the controls are very unintuitive.

The Sinking City bring us Sherlock Holmes' vibes back, with something new. Frogwares takes a step forward with Lovecraftian games, mixing investigations with combat and an open world. Despite not being technically polished, The Sinking City is a game any gamer fond of investigations would enjoy. Let The Sinking City soak us up and take us back to the Mind Palace.

Her Majesty’s SPIFFING is a fresh point & click adventure, where humor and parody are the king and queen. Aboard the Imperialise, Captain English and his lieutenant, Aled Jones, must conquer the galaxy in the name of Her Majesty the Queen. The game gives us an original and funny proposal, though its short length and constant tearing fades it.

Hunting Simulator 2 is definitely a much better game in all aspects than its predecessor, but above all, in the ability to offer a more immersive and realistic experience, with animals that are difficult to find and follow, unless you develop the hunting technique and adjust to it.

If I have to say something about Elex II is that this is a particular game. If you were a fan of the initial game, you will like this one. But if you didn't play it, you might have a less than satisfying experience. The idea of a minimalist hud, an open world that you have to explore to discover its secrets, difficulty in combat, is striking. But there are many things that are not satisfactory, the main one being the combat. Elex II does not manage to get out of that feeling that you are playing a retro game, having been released in 2022.

Time Recoil is a different Twin Stick Shooter, one that combines action with limited resources and awesome abilities to accomplish 56 missions with strategic action. Using the Slow Motion and epic special moves, you’ll fight against Mr Time, a mad scientist dictator in possession of a time based weapon of mass destruction. It could be more ambitious, but doesn’t matter thanks to the action that develops, that makes the game enjoyable.

Knee Deep is a conversational adventure where we’ll have to solve the mystery around a movie star’s suicide. Despite its original staging, Knee Deep tries to offer more than it cans. With some simpler graphics and a less complicated script, Prologue Games would have achieved a much better product.

Long story short, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins feels like a game from two generations ago. Even if sometimes it could be perceived as a positive thing, it isn't when it means really poor graphics and an empty and bothersome story. Still, its combat system offers a fun and fresh experience, which will satisfy fans from the action genre. The question is if you'll be able to forgive its many, many flaws in favor of its fun gameplay.

This reimagination of a classic nails the tone, the cast and the mix of puzzle, exploration and action. It has its weaknesses, but Pieces Interactive has managed to create a horror game that should be able to relive this iconic franchise.

Call of Cthulhu offers one of the best experiences based on Cthulhu Mythos. Cyanide Studio has made an incredible job with the game's environment and story. As some of Focus Home Interactive games, Call of Cthulhu has some technical issues. However, its story, setting and characters shine and manage to bring us a totally recommended game.

State of Decay 2 is in essence the same as the first game, with the anecdotic incorporation of the multiplayer. But Undead Labs achieves a brilliant mix combining all those ideas once again. Despite falling short on its technical side, the game has a great artistic design.

Flatout 4: Total Insanity is a different driving game, where skill doesn’t count as much as brute strength. It’s a proposal full of races and game modes that will amuse those seeking for something diverse on this genre. Races, destruction and speed on exaggerated doses for a plain and straight experience.

Scorn has many interesting things, and the first of all is its originality. It is a special game that takes risks and although not everything works out well, the end result is worth the experience. Its clearest flaws are the sparse checkpoints so you can end up replaying an entire act with all its frustrations. Also, its combat is clunky and unfair, and the tendency to overcomplicate certain things. In essence it is an Escape Room. But like no other you've ever played. Visually and sonically it is a masterpiece and has no flaws in this aspect. As a whole, it is striking, unique and represents something rarely seen in the video game industry.

The gameplay of Bleeding Edge in the hero shooter style but with melee combat is original, it is fun, very direct and spectacular at times, although Ninja Theory does not end up hitting the key to make it stand out from the competition. It meets its goal of bringing new experiences and variety to the catalog of exclusive Xbox Game Pass games.

Party Hard 2 is an ingenious action game, but it is not limited to giving you a weapon and setting a target, but rather it presents you with a situation with multiple objectives from which you will not be able to emerge victorious unless you understand that the basic mechanics is a puzzle system and strategy. Although, it is worth adding, it has a component of randomness that is sometimes quite frustrating. It is an entertaining game, which, however, becomes repetitive very soon, exhausting its formula in a few levels.

Scribblenauts Showdown develops our imagination with crazy situations, puzzles and mini-games inspired by the classic style of the party game. Although the ambition to offer different proposals is always admirable, this time both sides of the game feel halfway to offer their full potential. One Piece: World Seeker is an open-world video game with a great story and an entertaining combat system. The story created by the very creator of the manga, Eichiro Oda, is absorbing and, combined with the visual aspects of the game, you won't be able to stop playing until you finish it. However, sometimes it is too simple and repetitive, especially the secondary missions of "messenger" and the lack of importance of the activities of the crew of Thousand Sunny.
