May 23, 2018It’s strange to have seen the tennis video game scene left to die in recent years, but Big Ant have proven that there is still plenty of love for the sport. You may find the lack of licensing an issue, but if you love Rafa Nadal, and enjoy a couple of games of tennis, then all is good in the world of AO International Tennis.

May 31, 2018While playing AO International Tennis, I found everything from the tutorial to the actual in-game experience to be pretty good. Sure, I wasn't the greatest at becoming the next Rafael Nadal, but the experience was something I enjoyed as I played. That being said, fans may find some control issue here and there, as I did find that some of my shots didn't go where I aimed, and that reaction time was off now and then. Regardless, I have never been one to pick a sports game as my game of choice, let alone tennis, but you may want to consider this one, especially if you are craving some tennis on your Xbox One.

Official Xbox Magazine UKJul 23, 2018The mix of solid arcade play and deeper-deluxe sports sim should please tennis fans. [Aug 2018, p.84]

May 10, 2018AO International Tennis is an interesting videogame for tennis fans, the game has a nice gameplay but includes a poor rooster of professional players and a few game modes.
-
May 22, 2018AO International Tennis brings some good ideas and gameplay mechanics to the table, but it's too much focused on shots timing to the detriment of other elements like player movement and placement. And its poor graphics and lack of licensed players are simply inexcusable. We'd love to see Big Ant Studios building on it for a better game next year, though.

Jun 2, 2018AO Tennis suffers from a poorly-designed AI and a lack of depth in all that it has to offer. Easy to play but not difficult to master, it may please tennis fans looking for a game they can sometimes play with their friends.
-
May 12, 2018The gameplay lacks finesse and refinement, serving up frustration in place of fluidity. Tennis is a game of endurance, precision and energy, three elements that AO International Tennis fails to deliver. With that in mind, its abundance of content means very little.

Apr 7, 2019This game is bad, and against whomever I play I lose, I have to talk to developers.
