I really love the way this game has a right stick control option, which feels very authentic to the game of tennis, and really adds to the depth of the game.

This is *not* an easy, nor accessible tennis game. And that's what's beautiful about it. It takes time to learn, and it punishes lapses in judgement or mistakes. But once you've put the practice in, it feels amazing to pull of a stylish serve/volley, or hit a cracking winner from the baseline. And taking 10, 15, or even more shots in a rally to really position yourself and your opponent is tactical and enjoyable.

It's a very different approach to tennis games compared to what we've seen historically, and I like it.

Once its patched up, this is a fun game of tennis for casual players - the controls and game play are quite different from other classic tennis games and that can be quite divisive... but I enjoy the back and forth game play. Customisation options are excellent, compensating the lack of official players by allowing you to download hundreds of player made unofficial ones.

Love it. Once community assets are downloaded, the game is great, and the automatic downloading of community venues for tournaments in an already realistic and customizable career mode makes sure that your game is never stale.

The first few weeks I would have given it score : 2
It is a difficult game to master and calibrate, but once you have set the AI and learned the game mechanics, it gives a lot of satisfaction. Some animations and game situations need to be improved, such as recovering from a dampened ball or an opponent's lob, but overall it's a game. Rating: 8.5

Voto: 8,5

The mix of solid arcade play and deeper-deluxe sports sim should please tennis fans. [Aug 2018, p.84]

AO Tennis suffers from a poorly-designed AI and a lack of depth in all that it has to offer. Easy to play but not difficult to master, it may please tennis fans looking for a game they can sometimes play with their friends.

While playing AO International Tennis, I found everything from the tutorial to the actual in-game experience to be pretty good. Sure, I wasn't the greatest at becoming the next Rafael Nadal, but the experience was something I enjoyed as I played. That being said, fans may find some control issue here and there, as I did find that some of my shots didn't go where I aimed, and that reaction time was off now and then. Regardless, I have never been one to pick a sports game as my game of choice, let alone tennis, but you may want to consider this one, especially if you are craving some tennis on your Xbox One.
