The moment when Space Hulk loses its charm, is two to three missions in, when you suddenly realize that you’ve already seen everything this game has to offer.- Riot Pixels

There Came an Echo is hardly a full-fledged commercial game. It is more like a cool 3-4-hour proof of concept which shows you that yes, you can make a good strategy game fully controlled by voice.- Riot Pixels

Another embarrassment in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. I'm now inclined to think that "the Fire Warrior curse" is a real thing.- Riot Pixels

Some things must not be mixed under any circumstances, like vodka and soda or pickled herrings and milk. This rule holds true for CCGs and tower defense. Get ready to waste hours of your time playing through the same-looking levels, so you can get a slightly more powerful card.- Riot Pixels

Team Indie tries and fails at creating a coherent world for its borrowed characters. It just asks for comparisons to all these other games, and none of them works in its favor. Brightside Games could not digest so many original titles at once.- Riot Pixels

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is a weak remaster of a strange and fun game. Now there's no chance that there will be a sequel.- Riot Pixels

If you try to skip the introductory vanity cards at launch by pressing any key, the game immediately crashes to Windows. As if it is trying to tell you, “Why are you in such a rush? Hey, cool it down and think. There is no fun for you here”.- Riot Pixels

Neither Omega Force, nor the series were ready to handle so many changes at once. Dynasty Warriors 9 disappoints wherever you look, from performance issues and dumb stealth to ugly cinematics and boring open world.- Riot Pixels

Right now, Little Misfortune is at the top of my personal list of bitter disappointments of 2019. I would have overlooked many of its flaws, if it were just a pilot episode in a series. Alas, this is a finished product.- Riot Pixels

The developers should have prioritized quality over quantity, and dumped the second campaign along with a useless global map. As it stands now, Numantia will disappoint even fans of ancient civilizations.- Riot Pixels

Armikrog copies and pastes itself several times during the game. 25% of content is original, the rest is just repetitions. You will see identical rooms, chains of actions and even puzzles.- Riot Pixels

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 reminds of a time when ‘based on a movie’ was the quickest way to describe and berate a game in the same sentence.- Riot Pixels

Oceans of Time is intriguing at first, but quickly overwhelms with a staggering amount of repeating, dull hassle. And that’s all there is to do, unless you want to count how many tired sci-fi tropes were crammed into this game.- Riot Pixels

Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics has the most primitive levels I have ever seen in a turn-based strategy game, coupled with an equally primitive AI. Combat system has quite a few fine ideas, though, but they're not worth it to suffer through 10 hours of identical gameplay situations.- Riot Pixels

Space engineers are trending in horror games, but you'd be better off spending your time with Amanda Ripley from Alien: Isolation or Isaac Clarke from the Dead Space series.- Riot Pixels

The developers split DreadOut into two parts, and the first half is frustratingly short. It will take you 2-3 hours tops, and that’s only because the game sometimes forgets to tell you when an interactive object is nearby, forcing you to run in circles looking for it.- Riot Pixels

Wherever you go in Warhammer Quest, you will find nothing but repetitive dungeons and battles. The original board game was fun because you played it with live people, and it simply doesn’t work as a pure single-player experience.- Riot Pixels

Walking around Philadelphia, you may stumble upon a place where some madman was conducting sadistic experiments of people, or an old man's house packed to the rafters with traps, and you realize that the developers of Homefront: The Revolution do have talent. Unfortunately, instead of an original game, they produced a ho-hum FPS that tries to please everyone but falls flat in execution.- Riot Pixels

Fan support and unlimited creative freedom gave birth to a monster. If Moebius were a debut by some unknown studio, I would have simply sniffed at it in disdain. But the knowledge that this wretched thing was produced by a lauded veteran of the industry fills my heart with primordial horror.- Riot Pixels
