There is no "The Life" or any career-mode variant present in the game, the NBA Replay mode is a novelty that wears thin, and the mini-games leave a lot to be desired.- PSX Extreme

It’s generic to the core and wholly uninteresting, as the AI isn’t anywhere near good enough, the developers didn’t do enough with the co-op concept (a huge disappointment), and we don’t even get a drop-in, drop-out feature.- PSX Extreme

Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard is a great concept that was executed very poorly and seems rushed. With more attention to detail such as better A.I., more fluid gameplay mechanics, multiplayer, and better visuals, D3 could've had a solid game on their hands.- PSX Extreme

Horrid music. Bland, barren landscapes. Overly difficult combo demands.- PSX Extreme

Even though Southpeak has added a bunch of extra content to the PS3 port, at the end of the day it still feels more like a downloadable game that is worth, at most $20.- PSX Extreme

The PlayStation 2 version of NBA 08 is nothing like its PlayStation 3 counterpart. This one fails in nearly every aspect, largely due to poor attention to detail in visuals, awful A.I., and a severe lack of new features.- PSX Extreme

At the end of it all, Spider-Man 3's biggest problem is that it has a camera and framerate that makes the game nearly unplayable.- PSX Extreme

Certainly isn't the worst 2D fighting game ever made, but when you take into account the lack of effort on Capcom's part, the number of fan-favorite fighters that didn't make it onto the roster, and the complete lack of any sort of character building or online play features, it's tough to recommend this game to anybody.- PSX Extreme

There's a lot of game to be had, but with very little depth, innovation, and a lot of frustration. The gameplay isn't very balanced, so you'll end up getting killed by the A.I. constantly, despite your best efforts to stay alive. It's visually decent, but the sound is generic, with the exception of a decent, but short, soundtrack.- PSX Extreme

Generic gameplay, poor multiplayer offerings, and below average visuals? This I can't even recommend when it hits the inevitable bargain bin.- PSX Extreme

Compared to all of the other racers out there--kart, arcade, or simulation--it's definately at the bottom of the list.- PSX Extreme

The whole game trips and stumbles. The puzzles can be fun, control isn't bad, some of the story elements are decent, and the sound is better than average, but that's not enough. The animations and graphics aren't up to snuff, those puzzles are often too easy and even boring, and above all else the incredible spirit that drew so many to the movie theater is missing.- PSX Extreme

Nothing seems catastrophically bad but at the same time, nothing seems right, either. This game feels and looks very, very outdated and anyone who plays it will recall many games that did something better; we've seen far better role-playing, action, and stealth mechanics and in all honesty, I doubt this game would've been considered anything special even four or five years ago.- PSX Extreme

Fairytale Fights, as sadistically zany as it is, just isn’t worth the price of admission.- PSX Extreme

Everything in place functions okay, but there’s not one single aspect of the game that excels in terms of quality, and there are just too many problems that ultimately cripple the overall package.- PSX Extreme

The story is just a bunch of barely understandable gibberish, the characters feel tired and overdone, and the “streamlining” of the combat is only the equivalent of dumbing-down. Nothing more.- PSX Extreme

Clive Barker's Jericho does a few things well and a lot of things poorly. In no way can it compare to the other awesome FPSs available now (Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, for example), and when you spend more time healing than fighting, there's something seriously wrong.- PSX Extreme

We couldn't possibly recommend a purchase, regardless of price, simply because it doesn't seem like there's enough here to constitute a whole game.- PSX Extreme

This sequel fails to make any notable strides in improvement, and in fact fails so hard with the broken game engine that it feels downright frustrating to look at and play.- PSX Extreme

The control is borderline horrendous, the graphics are very disappointing, The Chase - while deep and rewarding - isn't implemented very well, and besides the numerous pit and mechanical options, there's a surprising lack of car customization features.- PSX Extreme

It's unfortunate that Manhunt becomes such a redundant game so quickly. The game employs a few very good concepts, but they are off-set by the game's mediocrity and pointless gore.- PSX Extreme

But the game is marred with gameplay that features a number of annoying quirks, such as aim issues and lifeless artificial intelligence. Moreover, variety isn't a strong point, and the multiplayer is horrifically barebones and limited to only eight gamers.- PSX Extreme

If you’ve got several friends who loved the first one and you don’t mind terribly repetitious missions, give it a try. There’s just very little improvement or advancement, many of the same issues from the first title still exist, the story is ridiculous and poorly written, the campaign is dull and drawn-out, and the combat is almost as tedious as the mission objectives.- PSX Extreme
