A dodgy camera and touchy controls can be fixed. I know I wasn't the only one at E3 who told the producer that the camera was a mess. But, alas, they shipped this most stylish and most gore-riffic game with its major problems still intact.

Zombie Army Trilogy is familiar and fun for a short spell. The third game is a good deal better than the first two but for the most part, it’s a ho-hum action blast-fest that doesn’t have enough “oomph” behind it.

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two has the right idea. It encourages youngsters to work together, that magical Disney quality is prevalent, and the overall design is actually quite good. But a shroud of poor mechanics and outdated technical elements dooms this potentially enjoyable adventure from the start. Bad AI, loose control, collision detection issues, and vague, sometimes boring objectives keep getting in the way.

Frantix just doesn't quite work. Seriously, ask yourself "do I find mazes fun?" For most people, the answer is no. Worse, the few diehard maze fanatics out there that actually might want a game like this will probably be turned off by its dodgy controls.

In this adventure, there is a total of about 60 minutes of quality gameplay. The rest leaves me deeply upset with Sega and the hole they've dug for Sonic.

Reservoir Dogs has more major flaws regarding the core gameplay, and because it takes a more direct and linear approach, can't cover up the minor problems with open-ended adventure.

The multiplayer mode also feels sort of tacked on; you and a friend can head out and take on the shuffling hordes, but it's basically the same experience.

Hail to the Chimp has a good heart and really tries to build on the aforementioned foundation, but there’s just too much "meh" going on.

The scope of the game is too small (it can be finished in less than 10 hours), the mechanics are really basic and/or sloppy, and the graphics are nothing to get excited about.

If you’ve got a child or sibling under twelve with a good imagination, they might have a good time with Operation Spy. Anyone else will likely find the game uninteresting, especially since most of the content is locked.

Don't bother renting or buying this game if you're only mildly interested in the Godzilla concept, felt the previous game sucked, or consider yourself a fighting game snob. The best thing about Godzilla: Save The Earth is that Godzilla is in it.

The game is fun, and it’s even more fun when playing co-op. It has a boatload of charm. The fighting is fast-paced and occasionally rewarding. But where’s the rest of it? Where’s the robust skill set, the varied combat challenges, the compelling story and character development? We’ve come to expect this and we certainly expect it from a new era of gaming.

All I can say to the dedicated followers is this- Play the game on Hard Mode. It's really the only way you'll make it feel like Ninja Gaiden. But even that can't erase the bad camera, occasionally faltering frame rate, disappointing visual presentation, the lackluster online, and oh yes, the disappearance of other weapons.

Blade Kitten is one of those good ideas that stumbles due to mediocre execution and almost mindless repetition, in terms of both gameplay and technical aspects.

This game tries to change things up by using fruit as weapons but overall it's a disappointment. The difficulty feels unbalanced, monotony sets in quickly and the tracks don't really feel very inspired. Although there is enough content available, it doesn't compensate for our major complaints.

Tale of Despereaux really tries. We’ll give it that. But with such loose and wonky control, a fixed camera that’s functional yet still problematic, and a repetitive adventure that grows tiresome all too soon, the game doesn’t deliver.

Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam is not a horrible game, but it’s designed for an incredibly niche audience, and its gameplay and graphics are so out of date that there’s no compelling reason for anyone else to give it a shot.

If you’re looking for a great X-Men game, consider the enjoyable Legends series. The generic, thrown together experience known as X-Men: The Official Game is not what you’re looking for.

It’s sort of like a half-baked idea that had excellent ingredients, but those ingredients weren’t quite assembled correctly and it was removed from the oven too early. And so, the result is sort of edible, but far from tasty.

When you strip all of the bells and whistles off of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition, you are still left with a painfully mediocre fighting game with a horrendous monetization system. Sure the fighting may be fun in short bursts, and the gore factor may be fun eye candy, but this game felt as though it didn’t have any care put into it outside of the basic fighting controls.

I’ve got no problem with breezy little games designed to give us a breather from those huge open-world extravaganzas that are starting to dominate. I do, however, have a problem with any game that comes across as slipshod and unrefined.

There is definitely a lot of potential behind the series, but Genji is far too broken to be enjoyable. The gameplay lacks flow and fluidity, and begs for Devil May Cry-like speed. Moreover the combat is clunky and just isn't fun.

It's got a great soundtrack and good charts, but the use of covers is painful to listen to, largely thanks to the singing - it's just that lackluster.

This simply isn't what I'd call a polished game; it is below what the average racing game should be. It's largely ruined by its impairing visuals, as they prevent you from accurately judging distances, thus ruining your ability to take a proper turn. It offers the rudimentary gameplay content, and doesn't have any online gameplay to speak of.
