An amusing game that loses its appeal all too quickly. The adventure is mostly fluid, as is the combat and platforming elements, and the storyline isn't too bad, but the rest is just generic, cut-and-paste design.

Fun for a little while, and its entertainment value is surprisingly acceptable.

It is certainly an improvement over the original game, but it's still not at the quality it should be this far into the generation. It lacks innovation and diversity, with an end result that is a boring and highly derivative experience.

It's too bad there was never much beyond the most basic of maneuvers, but the fact remains- just about anyone can pick it up and play the whole way through with little difficulty, and still have fun doing it.

The mission structure is broken, and the missions can be very short. The online, while fun, is incomplete. And the visuals leave something to be desired.

It’s cheap and it may be a fine option for kids who loved the movie, but other than that, it’s not really worth your time. There are better games based on movies out there.

Overall, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is better than its predecessor in just about every way possible. It’s just too bad that it needed to be a lot better in order to be considered “good.”

If Gripshift’s controls were anything resembling playable, the objectives were time-based instead of focused on collecting, and the game had a little bit of personality, Sidhe and Sony Online might have a sleeper hit on their hands.

If you're looking for a deep hack and slash title along the lines of "Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance," look elsewhere. Marvel Ultimate Alliance is an over simplified attempt at a genre that begs for more. This just isn't hack and slash done right -- it feels more like an arcade game than anything else.

This game just doesn't have the shine, polish, or refinements we should expect from a third game in a franchise. To be brutally honest, the Samurai Warriors series was never very good, and unfortunately, that's the way it's going to stay.

And that's the theme for Splatterhouse: inconsistent, erratic, unreliable and sometimes too unforgiving.

But in the grand scheme of things, the series is really showing its age on the older, outdated hardware.

Eurocom did make significant strides with Vancouver 2010. But they’ve got to make a few more before we can recommend a purchase of a game based on the Olympics.; not surprisingly, it really is more fun to watch on TV.

Mugen Souls Z feels like a rehashed, more tedious version of its predecessor that wasn't really needed.

The controls are slow and clunky, the technicals are passable but never really shine, the story and progression through the game is erratic, and we think the potion making part will prove frustrating for some of the title’s audience.

We just wish Omega Force would step forward and issue a major upgrade for this franchise.

Loadout isn’t a bad game; there just isn’t much to it. If you’re worried about how a PC game translates to the PS4 controller, you’ll be happy to hear there are minimal issues. The control isn’t perfect, though, and despite the better part distribution system, there isn’t much to talk about aside from weapon crafting.

Many of the additions feel like things that they didn’t have time to add to the last game, and the whole experience feels uninspired. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but Warrior Within is one big letdown.

But the platformer/puzzle aspect flops and the overall feel of the game drops a few notches on the overall appeal meter.

This newest iteration of Spyro could've been a much better game had it been left an extra month in the oven for a much needed polish. There is a really solid game underneath a plethora of framerate issues that really prevented me from enjoying the game more.

This is the poorest Medal of Honor yet, and we truly hope we can expect a vastly superior experience from the upcoming "Airborne."

A lot of great concepts…too many great concepts, in fact, and the charming exterior and good control can't save it. And what's this about no online multiplayer? Really?

I can clearly see a solid game here; it's just that it is really marred by a poor framerate and boring campaign structure. It doesn't offer much value as a single-player game, and with a barren online community, it most certainly doesn't have any multiplayer value to speak of.

If you’re hard up for some old school 2D platforming, and willing to put up with some notable shortcomings, Shiny might do the trick, but this is the kind of game that ends up as a PS Plus freebie sooner or later, and it’s probably best to wait until it does.

It’s such a shame to see the state of this franchise in 2018. Dynasty Warriors deserved better than this, and I hope Omega Force gets another shot to do this franchise justice, because this is not how the tales of the Three Kingdoms should end.

Arena Football seems like a good idea on paper, but the execution of the idea is miserable.

You could probably have some good times with the game for the right price, but you may have an even better time with a copy of NFL Blitz 2000, which was good for up to four players, unlike the two player limit in Blitz: The League II.

Drakengard 3 is sort of an enigma. You should either avoid it like the plague or, if your curiosity has been piqued by this review, you should give it a try.
