Mindlessly repetitive, the control is smooth but somewhat loose (standing and aiming is the best way to progress, which seems silly), and a quest system that is hardly inspired. It's just too frustrating and underwhelming to be considered for a purchase, in my opinion.- PSX Extreme

Given that kids are the primary target audience for Wicked Monster Blast!, the confusing and often difficult nature of the minigames sort of work against it. It's a shame though, since there really is some fun to be had with this game.- PSX Extreme

Anyone thinking of picking up the game with hopes that it’s simply a good game is going to want to look elsewhere – there’s just nothing new here and it doesn’t do anything particularly well.- PSX Extreme

If you fancy a good mystery, maybe The Raven Remastered is the right game for you. But if it’s a saucy story you’re looking for, look elsewhere. Although it sounds like a pretty tasty tale to dig into, The Raven Remastered will leave you with more questions than answers.- PSX Extreme

It’s disappointing from a tennis fan’s standpoint to inform you that this isn’t worthy of your time or money.- PSX Extreme

All in all, don't expect anywhere near the same caliber title from the PS2 version of Mercenaries 2. This is one of the sloppiest ports I've played in a long time, and you're better off saving your money towards a PlayStation 3 if you're looking for a next-gen experience.- PSX Extreme

But it doesn't hold up well in 2010 and if this genre is to have any future at all, it needs a big ol' update.- PSX Extreme

The game as a whole deserves more. Time Crisis 4 is surprisingly...well, bad. And it pains me to call a Time Crisis game "bad", because I simply don't know them to ever be anything other than great fun.- PSX Extreme

There is a major issue when it comes to the speed and responsiveness, and it's so bare-bones that unless you're completely enamored with each game, you'll be bored very quickly.- PSX Extreme

For roughly fifteen dollars, you get 20 board games on a single blue-backed disc. That's a great value, assuming you're into board games and have a couple friends nearby.- PSX Extreme

Jackass the Game is all over the place. Some stunts are great fun, others are terrible. The graphics are decent here, but severely lacking there. The controls in this stunt work just fine; the controls in another make us say, "what the...?"- PSX Extreme

007 Legends has its moments but they're too often lost beneath a continual onslaught of repetitive, often tedious, and definitely mindless action. The worst part is that this isn't faithful to the revered franchise; it's faithless.- PSX Extreme

Unfortunately, it’s near impossible to look past getting stuck in canyons with seemingly no way out, missing a jump and having to backtrack for five minutes, and endless load times to simply refill your health.- PSX Extreme

Natural Doctrine fails in its ambitious attempt to deliver a wonderfully unique, deep, and rewarding turn-based strategy adventure. The foundation is solid but what’s built atop that foundation is a crazy assortment of great individual pieces, but none of them really fit together.- PSX Extreme

Urban Reign’s audio is purely average. You could play the entire game on mute and not miss a thing. The voice acting ranges from decent to poor, and the weak plot and script don’t help matters much.- PSX Extreme

"Winning Eleven" is light years ahead of the game in every aspect, and costs the same amount of money. "FIFA" provides a better arcade-like experience and features online play – the only soccer title to do so this year.- PSX Extreme

The style, attitude, and ideas are all good, and the graphics aren't too bad. But the game is way too slow for a shooter, the faceless enemies never miss a shot, the AI is terrible, collision detectiion is iffy, and the extra features designed to let the game shine fall flat.- PSX Extreme

Raccoon City is just [p]lain boring to me. There's nothing here I want to return to. The game can be fun with other people, there are a few patented Resident Evil scares, and the controls work fine (provided you're willing to put up with some clunkiness). But everything else about it is really…I dunno, "meh."- PSX Extreme

The racing is fun for a while, and the appeal of launching your driver like a human dart can’t be denied, but even those who love that aspect wish you could skip the drawn out animation after awhile.- PSX Extreme

Beowulf does very little right and fails to capture the stylish action and mysticism of the film. The cut-scenes and sound are often way off, there's a great deal of choppiness when the game tries to shift between non-interactive and interactive play, and the inconsistency of the sound is unsettling.- PSX Extreme

Golden Axe: Beast Rider isn’t a very good game. It’s not quite as bad as some critics have claimed – it can be fun for a little while, and the combat system is relatively ambitious – but it’s certainly not worth your $60.- PSX Extreme

Simply put, this just isn't worth your money. This would've been an acceptable game back on the PlayStation and maybe even early PlayStation 2 days, but the level of shallowness in game mechanics, the poor visuals, the boring story, the lousy audio, and the awful controls make it totally unacceptable for this generation.- PSX Extreme

Tokyo Xtreme Racer DRIFT 2 is little more than the original in disguise, and it's a poor disguise, at that. It suffers from the exact same problems, and we'd actually prefer the original because at least that one was a little more straightforward.- PSX Extreme
