Taito Legends is a winner just based on value alone, but it also happens to contain a few truly milestone games (and some less memorable ones).

In the end, I suppose one could make the argument that Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West would be a great buy at $9.99 and a better-than-average buy at the current $14.99 price point.

Close to the Sun is an experience that I enjoyed but I also found myself wanting a bit more out of. The environments look fantastic and presentation was on point. Despite a few technical glitches. And while interesting, the story did fall a bit flat at times and seemed a bit rushed at others. I did enjoy my time with it though and especially enjoyed seeing what could have been possible if history had taken a different route. If you’re into the genre, like alternate history, or appreciate a well done style and tone, then I say go for it. It was a cool trip.

Rocket Arena is an admirably light-hearted shooter that soars when it comes to characters. The roster is full of versatile playstyles and memorable personalities that will draw you in, and the addicting gameplay could keep you there if you can get behind the floaty but satisfying combat. While the lack of content and underwhelming multiplayer suite doesn’t fully justify it not being free-to-play at the moment, things will only get better with time, and, fundamentally, Rocket Arena’s launch is worth the force of its trajectory.

All in all, G-Force is a game that doesn’t necessarily excel in any one area, but also doesn’t fall drastically short of its goal.

Ultimately, it's impossible to recommend Juiced when games like "Burnout 3" and "Midnight Club 3" are out there doing everything it does, and more, in much better fashion.

Everything you've heard about Untold Legends is true. It's a solid hack-and-slash, but it doesn't really break any new ground. It's also very repetitive.

It plays well, runs smoothly, and heralds the kind of game play which will keep score-hounds coming back to it again and again.

There’s not a ton of content here, and it’s not the kind of game that is going to keep you engaged for hours a day. For $15, however, it doesn’t need to be.

It needed a bit more time to cook and perhaps more testing, as the game isn’t perfectly stable and those mechanics needed some tweaking. That all being said, I will heartily recommend it to those who love extremely dark auras, and gamers who like a more balanced – albeit less polished – fantasy adventure.

Very enjoyable and easy to pick up and play. With a story that’s interesting and game play that is simple but fun, you’ll get hooked pretty quickly.

Legasista sometimes feels a bit repetitive and I never felt emotionally invested in the story (despite the charming and even emotional theme). But with plenty of depth, nicely drawn characters and enemies, solid control, and that aforementioned "addictive gene," there's a lot to like.

Beatmania US just isn't the game it should be, bottom line.

A must for fans of the anime and could very well appeal to any Vita player looking for an Eastern styled action RPG. It's not trying to be much more than a “beat the level, the boss, then advance” game but then that's probably what its fans are looking for.

I do think the online component is rather decent, but the single-player campaign isn't enjoyable, thanks to the game's rubbish speed.

Overall, MediEvil caters more towards the die-hard fans of the franchise by delivering a near-identical experience with incredibly updated audio-visual presentation, but I firmly believe it will serve as a great introduction for new players as well. I’m sincerely hopeful that this remaster is successful, because I want to see more of Gallowmere in the future, not less.

All in all, NCAA March Madness 08 is not a bad game, it's just yet another bad PS3 port.

The game strikes the right chord and that chord doesn't lose its appeal; it stays in tune throughout and somehow manages to remain pleasing and amusing.

Doesn’t quite live up to expectations. The separate platforming and music elements provide us with a solid foundation, but neither element receives the benefit of extra attention from the developers.

Just Cause is fun for a little while, and if you get sucked into the atmosphere and style, you just might finish it. But there are too many pitfalls that routinely impede your enjoyment.

The best poker video game available for home consoles. Sure, it'd be nice if the presentation were flashier, and if the game offered more configuration options, but the poker itself is damn near perfect. That's what matters most.

Perhaps the best way to describe this game is to say the campaign is worthy of no more than a 7, while the multiplayer is around an 8. But if you're more anal and susceptible to the problems I outlined in this review, you'll find the single-player element even more tiresome, and if you're one of those veteran fans I just mentioned, you may have other reservations.

All told, WRC: World Rally Championship doesn't break any new ground, but it is, nevertheless, a solid rally racer.

Do Not Fall can be frustrating, especially during later levels, and I did have a few small issues with the somewhat floaty control. Despite the nice additions, it also feels repetitive, which may be unavoidable. However, there’s lots to like.

Web of Shadows certainly exceeded my expectations. Shaba Games and Treyarch has done a great job bringing back the Spider-Man franchise to its rightful glory yet again. With a much smoother game engine, coupled with fantastic combat, great swinging mechanics, an enormous world, and good replay value, Web of Shadows should finally satisfy fans after the abysmal disappointment that was Spider-Man 3.

Solid game + hilarious translation + cheap price = MUST BUY.

Gotham Knights would be a great game, its sandbox approach to exploring Gotham is top-notch and its story keeps you just engaged enough to keep playing. The problem lies in the game’s lackluster combat and endless fighting cycles of beating up the same factions over and over and over with little to no variation to dialogue.

The variations of backgrounds and objects is what makes it worthwhile in my eyes, but I’m willing to admit this may not be the opinion of others.
