So yeah, it can feel repetitive and a little mind-numbing at times but it might be the perfect stress-reliever. I say give it a shot.- PSX Extreme

While we really can't recommend it for adult gamers who want something like Sim Theme Park, parents might want to consider Thrillville for younger gamers with lofty aspirations of owing an amusement park.- PSX Extreme

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified isn’t a bad game by any stretch, but it fails to live up to its predecessor. It has the aesthetic personality but it doesn’t have the gameplay personality. The control is fine, the music is a fantastic touch, and the fulfillment one feels after a properly executed mission is significant. But the story, despite glimpses of greatness, lets you down, and there’s just a general feeling of monotony that permeates the entire experience.- PSX Extreme

Practically every Matrix moment has been tucked up this game’s sleeve. It may not a solid fighting game or as fluid as it could be, but Path of Neo will still satisfy the diehard Matrix fans, if there are any left.- PSX Extreme

Why such a focus on action when the control scheme can't really handle that emphasis? Why not do a lot more with the atmosphere and storyline? Why does it take the story so long to get anywhere? These are questions I didn't want to ask.- PSX Extreme

Addictive but not quite original, that sums up Sparkle 2 quite nicely. A nice game to play in-between the big releases.- PSX Extreme

Doesn't stray from a winning formula, offers the portable world dual analog sticks (which cements the experience), and brings in a new touch-based mechanic that actually affects the gameplay in a positive way. There isn't quite enough content, the camera does seem to be a bigger problem than in past entries, and I miss a few of the more unique modes found in other titles, but there's no denying it: this is Katamari and the fans should really enjoy it.- PSX Extreme

Burnout Crash is well presented and encourages a lot of replay. It's not technically accomplished but it's visually attractive in my eyes, the combination of great sound effects and licensed music works nicely, the longevity is high, and for a fair amount of time, the game is just wildly entertaining.- PSX Extreme

Anyone nostalgic for the glory days of the Bond film franchise will love the inclusion of a classic film as well as the return of Sean Connery. However, it doesn’t try anything new, multi-player stinks, it’s too linear, and it’s too easy, so it’s not worth more than a rental.- PSX Extreme

Much of our play time was spent grinning in devilish glee at the absurd action that liberally splashed the screen with severe amounts of gore. Given this, we'd love to recommend the game, but the entire adventure will only last about 5-7 hours.- PSX Extreme

But in the end, it only feels like a bad idea superimposed over an ongoing good idea. So unless you're a hardcore fan, we say pass on Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, and lie in wait for Kingdom Hearts III. Yeah, we still hope it's coming.- PSX Extreme

Metrico isn't a bad game. On the one hand, you're immediately captivated by the unique gameplay. On the other, the interface keeps hindering your progression and immersion.- PSX Extreme

While it is by no means a bad game, there’s just not enough substance to it, and the controls, which were touted as being revolutionary, are below average.- PSX Extreme

NBA 2K21 is a sports title that ticks all the boxes in simulation gameplay but falters tremendously in its plastic progression systems. Virtual Currency puts a stranglehold on your enjoyment, and it plays a big part in upgrading and purchasing in-game stuff. Sure, it might have a decent (albeit short and cliched) story mode, but the ball is in your court as to whether you want to fork out your hard-earned money on microscopic differences. Although, at the end of the day, it seemed like hoop dreams to think anything of substance would be changed. Stick with previous entries or wait for the next-generation version.- PSX Extreme

Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood! is a solid, capable, entertaining, and super challenging action/platformer, and one that would fit nicely in a PSP collection.- PSX Extreme

Killing zeds is a fun way to get in my daily exercise requirements but, more than that, the co-op mode can truly be a blast. If you’re looking for something you don’t have to commit to in order to enjoy yourself for a few minutes, Incursion will do the trick.- PSX Extreme

It really is a shame that Gundam Versus has so many technical problems. It's obvious that there's a lot of content here that a true mech action fan could spend dozens of hours exploring, and as one of those true mech action fans I am beyond disappointed at my ability to dig in and see just how deep the game might be.- PSX Extreme

If you're not really into RPGs, you won't be impressed. However, if you are like me (a role-playing veteran), and you've agreed with things I've said in the past about the genre this generation, get it. I can almost promise you won't regret it.- PSX Extreme

It’s not going to knock your socks off with its narrative, and it doesn’t have terribly deep gameplay, but it’s a great way to spend an afternoon with your kid, and the kind of game you can let them play without worrying about the content.- PSX Extreme

It has a lot going for it; first and foremost is that unbelievable innovation and blending of genres. The combination works surprisingly well and the control is fine, even if the physics and collision detection is a little off. The experience as a whole is too erratic.- PSX Extreme

The underlying game itself is pretty average as far as beat-'em-ups go, but at least it's more fleshed out than "The Mark of Kri" was. And frankly, you really can't go wrong with a game that includes violent amputations and decapitations.- PSX Extreme

Tales of Symphonia Remastered is an RPG worth your while. While the lack of extras and a locked 30FPS frame rate might deter series veterans from giving this game another go, the heartwarming story and colorful visuals still hold up well and is worth recommending even after nearly two decades.- PSX Extreme

The Wizards is a step in the right direction. Casting spells is a blast and very intuitive. While the game does have some of the shortcomings that plague most VR games, this one makes up for it with the fact that you get to play as a wizard. The game is pretty meaty and has plenty for you to do. It looks pretty good too, minus a few less than ideal animations. Unfortunately The Wizards falls a bit short of being amazing. A shallow gameplay loop and content that grows stale after a while. I learned all the spells very quickly and I found myself wanting a little more by the end of the game. This time, not in a good way. Despite all that, I still enjoyed my time with The Wizards. It really is a lot of fun. I’m just not sure when or if I’ll get back to it.- PSX Extreme

The good: it’ll take about 40 hours to beat, the character design is great, and RPG veterans will feel right at home with the gameplay. The bad: the dialog localization is poor, there’s a fair amount of backtracking, and the game does nothing new. The good does outweigh the bad, however.- PSX Extreme

NASCAR 07 is, quite simply, another NASCAR game. There isn't anything too special about it or anything that makes it stand out, but then again, there also isn't anything to really get in a twist over.- PSX Extreme

A fine game that features excellent commentators, a cleaner, slightly more detailed on-the-field presentation, and a challenging yet rewarding pitching mechanic. The hitting and fielding is good, too, but it isn't quite as robust as the pitching, and there are a few remaining production issues. Clipping is obvious, for example, and the camera isn't always your best friend (although this is usually during foul balls). It's just a little too much "been there, done that," despite the positives.- PSX Extreme
