A highly entertaining RPG that no PSP-owning fan of the genre should pass up. Your socks won't be blown off, but your role-playing desires will be satiated. Isn't that more important?

If you are looking for a Final Fantasy style RPG then you will be disappointed... It more than satisfied my craving for a good game with a great story.

Electronic Gaming MonthlyUnderneath the rote plot elements is a thoughtful tale packed with great characterization and surprising good humor. [Jan 2006, p.129]
-
PSM MagazineIt's familiar, well-crafted, and fits well on PSP. [Jan 2006, p.76]
-

-
Game InformerI can't see the point in playing a boring retro-wannabe when there are plenty of good games that are actually retro and don't use "old-school" as an excuse for lack of originality. [Jan 2006, p.156]

A Tear of Vermillion does have a rich world to explore and an interesting cast. But with out an original story to tie the entire gametogether or great gameplay Legend of Heroes isn’t legendary at all. [JPN Import]
