KardiAug 1, 2006Despite its awesome graphics, this game is just plain boring. The battle just seems too easy, lame magic and too repetitive. Too much unimportant conversation as well which I wish I can just skip and skip. Played it halfway, then I decided to spend my time on other more interesting RPGs.

RayP.Nov 16, 2005Simply the only RPG on the PSP... but I am having a blast with it. Nice graphics, interesting story, good characters, easy to use interface. Few spelling errors, but other than that it seems like a great game.

EzekialJan 16, 2006I cry myself to sleep knowing I payed full price for this game. Straight to the point, it could have been so much better but it isn't. I do like the battle system, but the story and how they drag everything out just sucks.

A highly entertaining RPG that no PSP-owning fan of the genre should pass up. Your socks won't be blown off, but your role-playing desires will be satiated. Isn't that more important?
-
It's very much the baseline definition of a Japanese console RPG -- with all the bad and good that entails.
-
Slow pacing, tedious backtracking, inane minor quests, problematic controls, and unfulfilling combat combine to make one very non-portable title that has too many problems to ignore, even if this is the only game in town.
