WarioWare: Get It Together offers a twist to the renowned wacky series of fast and tricky mini games. This time around, you will be controlling many of the well known characters the series has spawned over the years, with each and every single one of them being unique when it comes to the way you control them. Some aspects of the game seem redundant and misplaced, but the meat of the game still is as enjoyable and funny as the series has always been.

The cult classic that hasn't aged a day is incredibly fun to play even after all these years. Too bad that the developers didn't use this chance to polish the AI routine or give some units a redesign, making it hard to recommend the Redux edition to owners of the original game.

Forgotlings is a strong prequel to the already excellent and charming Forgotton Anne. While it occasionally stumbles due to a few technical issues, these do little to overshadow its core strengths. Once those problems are addressed, it stands as a fine and ambitious fairy-tale adventure that places its story, visuals, and music at the forefront rather than relying on complex or demanding gameplay systems.

The Escapists 2 made me escape away from my Switch for a while. It simply made me feel bad and confused! But if you like complex micromanagement and doing time... well dig right in, inmate. This game truly is great for people who simply - don't like it simple.

Bravium is a hero defense RPG with strong emphasis on resource management and grinding, but surprisingly without microtransactions. Although the game is distributed via Steam, UI is made for mobile devices and lacks flexibility on PC. Best element of this game is that anyone can play it while doing something else and have fun.

If you’re a fan of classic old-school point-and-click adventures, and especially if you enjoy Lovecraftian lore, stories, and settings, this is a game you should absolutely pick up this year. It isn’t perfect and lacks many of the quality-of-life features modern games tend to offer, but it more than makes up for it with atmosphere and charm, delivering a memorable and delightfully spooky ride.

Resident Evil Zero's remaster doesn't manage to surpass the series' previous remaster work, mostly missing the opportunity to fix some of the glaring issues the original edition of the game had.

The second chapter of the Chronicles series will provide you with several hours of fun, albeit with slightly repetitive gameplay. A bit more polished than the China chapter, but still nowhere near the old Assassin's Creed glory.

A game chock-full of content that provides numerous hours of fun, surpassing the previous game in almost every way. Still, there is a long way until we get a proper, epic Dragon Ball game.

Uninspired story and incredibly simple gameplay keeps this years Assassin’s Creed from being what it could have been.

The battle between quality and performance that the Switch port of this game brings is one of the fiercest encounters I’ve seen in gaming in years. The disgraceful technical difficulties luckily fail to extinguish the greatness of the game itself but do bring the experience to its knees at times. The Switch version is worth your time, but I would recommend any other platform nonetheless. You will get a vastly better experience.

This is a solid sequel but it tries to mess with the original recipe a bit too much. If you didn’t play the first one or were expecting to blast through waves of beat em up opponents, you will be confused and a bit disappointed. Check it out on a sale or if you really enjoyed the first game in the series.

Conglomerate 451 is an atmospherically impressive cyberpunk dungeon crawler that doesn’t take many risks. Although it is playing safe, it provides the player with a great atmosphere, deep gameplay and some of the best cyberpunk environments to date, despite its repetitiveness and balancing issues.

A fun, albeit short, bundle of games that is a great introduction to gaming in VR. Worlds still leaves a bit of a bitter taste as a rather expensive game instead of being bundled with Playstation VR.

Ripout had amazing potential in its early access period as I’ve mentioned in my previous review. However, the 1.0 release label is just that, a label. The release feels more like a patch than fully realising the developer’s vision, which is pretty disappointing. The pet gun is still awesome, and there are more toys to play with, including a bunch of QOL improvements. However, it still feels like a patch rather than a full release. It still needs to ‘’cook’’.

First time for a Dynasty Warriors game to head into an Open World environment and it stumbles doing that. It sure is a new way to experience an old franchise with many new options and rework of the combat system. But the game tries to put in all of the open world tropes and systems all at once without previous experience on them by the development team, which leads to many bugs, glitches and bad optimization.

One's Justice 2 improves the original. Yet the core of the game - the fighting, can grow stale pretty fast. The game looks amazing, especially during certain fights, combos and special attacks, but the joy won't last long unless you have a similarly excited friend to share a couple of hundreds of local matches with. That is the one scenario, this game will not fail at.

Mysterious trilogy is a great intro to the Atelier world because not only does it get rid of the time limit but also gives you a more personal story and interesting characters to meet. The DX version that’s been ported also comes with a plethora of additional content that is worth exploring and getting the whole pack together.

This sequel delivers a new adventure with Van and his crew, along with a mix of fresh and familiar faces. However, the narrative takes a noticeable dip. If you don’t follow the Trails series and have only played the first Daybreak title, you might find yourself struggling to fully enjoy Trails through Daybreak II.

Biomutant is an open-world RPG with a lot of interesting ideas that have already been done. This ambitious game was an interesting concept a few years ago, but bigger studios got there faster. The phenomenal character designer and the lush and beautiful world, and an interesting character concept do not help this game stand out. However, I have had a lot of fun playing it even though the combat had its issues.

You can't remake the charm of Banjo-Kazooie while disguising it as another game. Yooka-Laylee is a package of nostalgia that aged badly. There is a lot to love here but at the same time, there is a lot to be outraged about. Nonetheless, it is a recommendation you should tread carefully on.

Four years have passed since the last GT game in the franchise, and although this game stayed true to its roots and remains a true driving simulation, choices like reducing number of available vehicles, missing any kind of single player campaign (other than driving schools) and a lack of weather effect control in this day and age may have set this game to a bad start against its main competitors.

A rough restart to a beloved franchise plagued by bugs and glitches. An inexperienced team of fans working on new saga led to poor storytelling and writing. On the other hand, flawless gameplay and shooting mechanics advance the franchise further and we are confident that the sequels will only get better.

Developer’s inexperience hinders the game enough for it to not be an instant recommendation, especially to newcomers. But, for experienced MMO players, Black Desert Online offers months or even years of content. Considering that's how long it takes to just see everything that's on offer.

Need for Speed: Heat is the first good step for the franchise in years. Devoid of micro transactions, providing some Underground-like neon vibes with it’s best customization system, it can provide more than a dozen of hours of fun, despite it’s dead like world design and irrelevant and boring story.

Layers of Fear 2 is one of the best horror games on the Switch platform. While the amazing atmosphere, built by binaural audio and great graphics deliver a strong and immersive experience, gameplay and story could be much better. Yet all of the qualities this title builds, still shine strong, enough for any horror fan to truly enjoy an around 8 hours long ride.

Pokemon Sword is a very safe and standard Pokemon game the likes we have seen over the many years. Its quality of life changes are many and greatly improve the feel of the game. But with Dexit, lazy asset transferring from previous games, and many missed opportunities to improve it still falls flat of being the dream Pokemon game we always wanted to play.

Miitopia is a real utopia for all the Mii lovers out there. If you love to be in control though, there’s not much to love or control here. The game is a random set of events between characters you choose and create yourself. If you lack the number of characters you’d love to see interact, this is probably not a game for you. Otherwise, no matter how repetitive, there is a high chance you will fall for its undeniable charm.
