Some games serve only to be fun. On the other hand, some games are experiences that aren't suited for everyone, art houses that are as disturbing as they are intriguing. The Town of Light is one of them.

We would not usually note this, but to pay the asking price for this game and not be absolutely in love with the Pokémon franchise is close to insane. There is plenty to love here if you are a fan of slow-paced, relaxing and pretty puzzle games, but if only that is the case - do wait for a discount. In any other case, better invest that money in a real camera.

Full freedom and innovative level design, but sloppy controls and sometimes stupid enemy AI will ruin your experience from time to time.

Even though it's short for the asking price, Final Station tells a compelling story in an intriguing world.

Stranded Sails draws inspiration from many titles, but does not upgrade the borrowed formula in any way. Instead, it simplifies the experience, making it accessible and simple, yet rather bland if you are more than just a casual player. On the other hand, if you plan to grab this for a kid - it's a pretty great choice. You can watch him play, and get enough of fun just by the great and warm visuals, that really do stand out.

If Kirby series could lay an egg, and you made an omelette with it, it would be Whipseey - a short breakfast that could use at least a bit more salt. It is an extremely tiny platformer with a few cheap deaths hidden around a corner, but still en enjoyable retro gaming hour for any fan of the old school.

The Stretchers may stretch that smile over your face, with its funny ragdoll physics and clumsy multiplayer moments. It may be short and lacks replay value, but for the while it lasts, it is sure to bring a bit of hilarious sunshine to that rainy day, we all get to live sometimes.

A Fold Apart is a simple but short puzzle game with an interesting mechanic that explores relationships and difficulties of modern non-verbal communication.

The Invisible Hand offers insight into the world of stock trading, with some interesting turns. You can gain an unfair advantage by browsing the dark web and manipulating it, but freedom of choice exists as an idea, rather than a feature.

Although drawing the inspiration from the Banner Saga, Ash of Gods tries to distance itself and create some of its own identity. It has a nice story setup with multiple endings, nice music score, but most of the time, game comes up short in majority of game design decisions. Only for the fans of the genre.

Goblin and Coins II is a great nod to old-school platformers. It adds some fresh elements to the well-established formula, giving the already challenging (and sometimes frustrating) gameplay more depth and making it more enjoyable. If you're a fan of games such as Disney's Aladdin or The Lion King, try this one.

This is a great port of an amazing old game that most fans thought would be forever lost on the PS2. If you love the Star Wars universe, you definitely need to give this game a spin. You just need to bear with the controls a little.

Occasional bugs and rather steep difficulty aside, new rendition of WRC is exactly what fans of offroad rally games should play right away. Just be sure to bring a steering wheel.

As a whole, Broken Age is a must-play for any fan of point-and-click adventures. However it is pretty obvious that the game is forcibly split into two acts and if you have waited for a whole year to see the conclusion of the game’s story, you’re probably going to end up disappointed.

You could call Elderand a safe bet. If you are craving a good quality metroidvania game where you know what to expect, look no further. This is a solid adventure that brings nothing new to the table, but what it does serve, is unmistakably good. Just don’t forget to keep your expectations in check.

Shallow story combined with historic inaccuracies and very buggy multiplayer gave us a game that leaves a bitter taste in stark contrast with big expectations. War Mode is a bright spot and is currently the only thing really worth playing, but there’s still hope that the game might improve over time with patches.

Mato Anomalies is an interesting mix of multiple different JRPG styles and their respective gameplay mechanics, as well as some visual novel elements. Sadly, it falls down to the PS2 era with its lacklustre voice acting and visuals but is still an ambitious and very enjoyable game.

Erica is a weird mixture of inconsistent but mostly quality writing, with astounding visuals and soundtrack. It poses as a truly interesting experience and even though with its flaws it is a step in the right direction for FMV games.

Designed as "Ubisoft: A sandbox game", Primal fails to reach the bar set by its predecessors. The game world is vast and rich with details, but the game never actually motivates you to push the story mode to its conclusion.

Forever Skies offers a captivating and imaginative world that invites exploration and discovery. Its survival mechanics are accessible and forgiving, though the combat lacks excitement. Ultimately, the real joy lies in designing and building the most creative, unconventional airborne base you can imagine.

DOOM: The Dark Ages is a safe and simple downgrade of the Doom franchise. As Eternal makes you think about your every choice and move, feeling like a fighter jet, The Dark Ages wants you to feel like a tank, made of Styrofoam. While the parry mechanics are extremely important and play a big role in the game, the gunplay is easily overshadowed. Music is tame, repetitive and is not memorable in the slightest. Mick Gordon is surely missing. With the asking price of 80 euros, I would stay away as far as possible from this game or at least play it on Game Pass.

If you crave vast, mysterious alien landscapes, this game lets you rocket-skate over them on a hoverboard. Camera and controls can feel sluggish, even tedious, but its rich atmosphere still delivers a thrilling off-world adventure.

Shooting is interesting and VR experience is good, but game lacks exploration and more depth, and ultimately is only an arcade corridor shooter, which is a shame, because Aim Controller provides lots of immersion into the gameplay.

Ultimately, your decision to give LEGO Avengers a try will depend whether you grew tired of the formula we've seen in countless LEGO games so far. The humor, action-paced levels and co-op action is there, but it's really the same game we've played already.

A game, a promise, which sometimes turns into a pleasant surprise, while turning into a void at others. Void that, one day, might get filled by promises that the developers made, however it still captivated us to push forward and explore.

The collection of all Bioshock games isn't a bad remaster, but neither is it an outstanding one. For the console crowd it’s a worthy addition to their collection, but for PC players it doesn't offer a big enough improvement.

For a quick introduction into the World of Darkness setting it’s a fine novel to read through and play through. But it has some rather quality of life options that are missing from this type of game and they should not be missing. Give it a chance if it's on some nice sale.
