This is a fun arena brawler with ’80 neon lights and electronic music. You will want to have friends over and play Hyper Jam until only one is standing. Fight rounds are short, perks are evenly distributed, characters are uncharacteristic and maps are at the beginning quite surprising. But this is a game that will not satisfy you for a prolonged period of time, it will mostly be used as a “party game”, but even as such it won't be often in the "party mix".- PLAY! Zine

Spellcaster University makes a smooth transition to PS5 with improved performance, but its core remains a laid-back, slightly clunky management sim that feels more at home on PC.- PLAY! Zine

Beautifully crafted game with unique depressive atmosphere, but unfortunately the core gameplay mechanics are simply wrongly presented and designed.- PLAY! Zine

Catalyst is an example of how bigger doesn't always have to mean better. Some games don't benefit from becoming an open world adventure and should stick to what worked well, even amazing in the original. Catalyst unfortunately, traded quality for quantity.- PLAY! Zine

In the vast sea of reboots and remakes, Cossacks 3 offers the familiar experience. That, unfortunately, isn't enough by today's strategy standards, especially considering its low production value.- PLAY! Zine

If you want to get your girlfriend or ten years old nephew into the world of JRPGs, this could be a perfect entry point. Charming, funny and simple, Destiny Connect is a short yet sweet experience anyone could enjoy.- PLAY! Zine

The Park is a short, well written psychological horror that has a few unfortunate mechanics and cheap jump scares, but delivers quite a punch with the story's strong sides. It may not be the peak of the genre, but for an hour or two of the length it offers, it should keep you intrigued and entertained enough.- PLAY! Zine

Fear the Wolves brings many great ideas on the Battle Royale table, but executes them quite poorly. PvPvE and radioactive zones are a good addition but don't work quite well with low number of players.- PLAY! Zine

The most attractive feature of eFootball 2024 is its free price tag. The rest of it is a package that seems to get little to no improvements with each new iteration. It’s a solid football simulation, but I wish Konami would put some more effort into the development.- PLAY! Zine

Virtual recycling at its finest, FC does it yet again. This lowers the overall quality of the game and the company’s renown, each year without fail. It is still a pretty decent game, but it still doesn’t deserve a full price tag. It is time for a change or for the whistle to mark the end of the match.- PLAY! Zine

A cutesy puzzle-platformer that's not bringing anything new to the table, TurnOn might not be a very complex game, but it's still a relaxing experience, especially for the first commercial game by the young studio.- PLAY! Zine

Fast and exciting gameplay that just isn’t enough to carry the game on its own. Uninspired and convoluted story that ends to fast for its own good , leaves a bland taste in ones mouth.- PLAY! Zine

Swansong will be compared to Bloodlines, and that’s inevitable even though this is not the same kind of game. Unfortunately, Swansong wants itself to be compared to Bloodlines and doesn’t really make a stand against its older sire. A mess of RPG and adventure mechanics boil down to luck, and with weak voice acting and not very Camarilla vampire models, Swansong leaves a lot to be desired. If you’re looking for an adventure akin to Life is Strange, you’ll surely find it here. But if you’re looking for a World of Darkness RPG with deep and charismatic characters, better hope Bloodlines 2 comes out soon.- PLAY! Zine

The quality and your enjoyment of the game varies greatly during its running time, as Shadwen occasionally offers moments of gameplay brilliance while most of the time it just falls flat. If you do manage to endure it, you do get rewarded, but it is too high of a demand when playing the game feels more like a chore.- PLAY! Zine

Mostly a game aimed at the most hardcore players of the racing simulation genre, Corsa won't find too many fans in the crowd. The console version also leaves the impression of an incomplete game that we just can't recommend.- PLAY! Zine

It may be free and as some of its aspects are concerned, fairly fun to play. But on the other hand, eFootball 2022 is plagued with horrible bugs and glitches, graphical monstrosities and outdated physics. As a whole, it is something you may enjoy in a short run. But in this state, if the game is not improved, Konami may change the price from “free” to “paying us back” – it still won't save the poor franchise.- PLAY! Zine

I wish this game lived up to the slogan „A new paper-crafted Mario adventure unfolds on Nintendo Switch!“. The storytelling really does not unfold enough making this insufficiently interesting game. Beautiful to the eye but empty.- PLAY! Zine

Project Cars 3 has an identity crisis, with it’s lacklustre AI and many failings and dropping of many simulation aspects that made the core of the franchise developed by the community. It is a ruthless and utter disappointment to any who backed it. At the same time, it can’t be described as an utterly bad game, because underneath of all of its flaws, some true fun can be found.- PLAY! Zine

WWE 2K16 brings some improvements, but not enough to be the game fans deserve. Smashing the opponent from the ladders through the table is great, until you turn to the audience and realize they look like they came from a PS2 game. But if you close your eyes, the game at least sounds awesome.- PLAY! Zine

Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition brings back the 2006 classic with controller support and restored multiplayer, but aside from bundled expansions, the release feels barebones—plagued by minor bugs, bland menus, and only minimal upgrades that make it a missed opportunity rather than a true enhancement.- PLAY! Shadow Warrior 3 is not ashamed to admit that it is borrowing everything from other fast-paced FPS games like Doom Eternal, Serious Sam and even Bulletstorm. But with all those references, Shadow Warrior 3 fails to provide any originality and loses its charm from the previous games. The humour is still there, but this time it feels much more forced than usual. With a game-time of 5 to 6 hours, you will have some short burst fun, but it still doesn’t justify the asking price.- PLAY! Zine

On face value, Drawn to Death looks like an interesting idea, and with its unusual art style it may feel like a breath of something new and different. But with its small arena concept with only 4 players, few play modes, and disgusting toilet humor with every step of the way, it quickly becomes dull and annoying.- PLAY! Zine

The Secret Level episode blew my mind when it came out and I couldn't wait to play a dark version of Pac-Man in a metroidvania setting. In the end, it’s a bog-standard metroidvania with a Pac-Man gimmick that does nothing new for the genre. The style was also not my cup of tea, as the contrasts between the background and the animation were too overwhelming and not very well implemented. Unfortunately, the show was much better than the game.- PLAY! Zine

Blue Reflection is but a mere reflection of what Gust is capable of. But, though flaws are many, there are some cool things you can enjoy here, especially if you are a hardcore JRPG fan. If not, and you are not into browsing through cute anime girls while listening to badass OST, skip this game like a YouTube ad - as soon as possible.- PLAY! Zine

The Council started with a big bang but ended with a huge sigh of disappointment. It has a great level of details to represent the world at the end of XVIII century, it has some nice changes to the stagnant genre of "choices matter adventures", but the story and storytelling are not up to par with them. Also, world feels unresponsive, the pacing feels inadequate and in short, it could have been a great game, but it failed on the most important things.- PLAY! Zine
