The Yellow Brick Games team consists of many experienced developers from renowned studios, and their first collaborative project reflects that. While the combat is a little bit janky, the world-building, characters, and overall design are excellent.

Evil West is a nostalgic throwback to the 7th generation of consoles where the story was corny, the environments were bland, the protagonists were manly men, and everything was cheezy and glorious – and I like this very, very much. The fun combat is only hindered but a plethora of bugs and a pretty linear level design.

The Surge 2 is a solid proof that Deck 13 learns from their mistakes and that with every next game they level up their performance significantly.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth works really well on PC but heavily relies on DLSS to run smoothly. With no FSR support (yet at least), only DLSS makes the game look nice. The TAA and the TAAU make the game look blurry, especially on the Steam Deck where the Verified badge is underserved. However, if you are lucky to have a DLSS capable PC, the enjoyment this game provides cannot be overstated.

A well balanced and dynamic MOBA game that proves that this genre doesn’t need to follow strict rules. Blizzard has proven their class once again.

Somber Echoes is a competent metroidvania that is highlighted by its design and atmosphere. The Greco-Roman style intertwined with sci-fi elements is a winning combination and it presents itself perfectly. Even though the gameplay is simplistic, the traversal and the overall feel of the game are very compelling and made me enjoy every second of it.

Though never fun in real life, spilling ink all around is even more fun in Splatoon 2 than it was in the first game. Teaming up with your squid friends has never been better. But even though some weird Nintendo elements can drag the fun to a stall, everywhere that Splatoon 2 shines makes it a deserving heir to the original.

While it has some problems with few design mechanics like crafting and small lack of dungeons to delve into, it puts player into interesting role of a builder, all while having a beautiful and cute looking world to explore.

Amnesia: The Bunker is a successful experiment for the renowned horror franchise, branching the series into survival horror, room escape, rogue-lite and extraction genres. Impeccable audio design and tense gameplay make for one of the scariest horror games in recent years.

F1 23 is the best F1 game, with amazing new physics, better driving and tires, and a great story campaign. The new F1 World mode is a truly addictive and fun multiplayer experience. Even with the career remaining the same, its gameplay resembles something close to the actual F1 experience. I hope microtransactions don’t get added in the future.

A great and refreshing spin on the FPS genre. Out of Bounds is a puzzle shooter in which you are tasked with creating a game and fixing bugs in a very novel way. The game is pretty short but has excellent replayability potential, which finds a balance.

As long as you like the genre, it doesn’t matter if you’ve played the originals - this game is a true gem. With its impeccable charm and infinite replayability, chances are you'll never remove it from your Switch library.

Shadow x Sonic Generations combines nostalgic stages with fresh gameplay, allowing players to experience perspectives of both Sonic and Shadow in a single package. With stunning visuals, energetic music, and dynamic level design, it’s a thrilling ride for fans. While the campaign is short and some of the boss fights lack creativity, it remains a standout title in the franchise.

Immersive and authentic presentation of airplanes with a lot of interesting and diverse missions makes for a really great experience and a game you will enjoy again and again and again.

Mortal Kombat 11 is not just another game in a cult franchise, but also a brave step into the new future for the series.

Sitting and playing a game where you sit and play a game by controlling a strange alien man through a hilarious set of unimaginable events, perfectly describes what this game is all about. If you are into random humour and story with a twist of laziness to well-designed gameplay, do try this game out. You will not be disappointed.

Wasteland 3 is a technically and visually flawed work of art. It is a true successor to the cult cRPG franchise, both masterfully written and designed, where the player is presented with a true impactfulness and meaning to their choices and decisions.

Frostpunk 2 is a vividly different game from its predecessor that functions as a fully fledged sequel, and that narratively follows its change of mechanics. It is more of a social simulator than a survival city builder, but it still poses as a great and decision heavy experience that will test your moral values at every step.

Fate/EXTELLA LINK is a prime example of upgrading and actual improvement on the previous title. It presents a flashy, fun, action-packed, easy to get into game, that is great for old and new fans of the genre.

If you are tired of the roguelike or have been looking for a perfect one to start with - you could try with the Going Under. A quirky, fast paced, humorous dungeon crawler, painted in neon baby colors that you didn't even know your TV could support. So be your friend and lower the color intensity, for you will most probably spend some hours with this one. Pretty addictive.

A bloodbath ballet, Space Marine 2 scratches all those Xbox 360 era gaming itches. It’s a beautiful, gory and 40k authentic game that deserves every accolade it gets. The campaign is a bit on the shorter side, but the Operations and PvP will keep you engaged with the game, even though some unlock systems are a bit convoluted. The PS5 performance is a bit all over the place, and it’s the reason the score is lower – PC fairs a lot better. By the Emperor, I really enjoyed this game.

Yoshi travels to a world carefully crafted from anything it could find in your granny's supply box. Even though this game does not utilize its world as much as it could, it is still a relaxing and well-designed platform adventure, inviting anyone looking for a calming escape. Charming and fun.

Shovel Knight Showdown truly delivers a genuine 4 players brawl action, in the famous and recognizable Shovel Knight fashion. If you like fighting games that are easy to learn but hard to master, this might be your shovel of tea. Cup I mean.

Detroit: Become Human delivers a story with a ton of possible choices, and a lot of questions for a player to bear afterward. If you like it when games make you think about them after you play them, this is the game for you. Stunning visuals and music score, make you forget about some weaker points of the game. But all in all, it is an enjoyable experience you should not miss.

Recursive Ruin is an impressive game with an awesome combination of visuals and puzzle mechanics. It can be divided into two parts - puzzle and story. Story is worth following, but the puzzles give an immense sense of satisfaction when solved.
