This game blows all expectations out of the water. Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is a phenomenal experience with its interesting character control mechanics, beautiful world, superb voice acting, and music. If you are a fan of the main Bayonetta series, you need to add this game to your collection.- PLAY! Zine

After the successful entry to the DOOM franchise with DOOM (2016) id Software just couldn't surprise us that much. And they probably didn't want (or need) to - they just upgraded every aspect of the game for a little bit, making it that much fun, entertaining and brutal. The gameplay is probably one of the best we have played in a while - fluid and engaging, forcing the player to continuously fight the hordes of evil (with the new batch of demons from the original DOOM from the '90s of course). The story is, on the other hand, a complete mess and platforming elements not the strongest point for id Software.- PLAY! Zine

eFootball PES 2020 is Konami’s another big step towards fully ideal football simulation. Even though it still has a lack of licenses of big European leagues, it presents itself as a, so far, the best edition of a long-running franchise that is a must-play for any football fan.- PLAY! Zine

Amerzone is a game that truly deserved a remake—both to reintroduce Benoît Sokal’s stunning art and imagination to a new generation, and to let longtime fans experience its beauty in an entirely new light. With updated visuals, enhanced gameplay, and new features, this remake isn’t just a nostalgic revisit—it’s a must-play, even for those who completed the original.- PLAY! Zine

Octopath Traveler II is amazing in every way, yet tarnished by the fact that it is a sequel to an excellent title, which brings next to no improvements to the table. Charming graphics, stunning music and great stories still make this a great experience. Just one bit less surprising than the original was five years ago.- PLAY! Zine

This is definitely the best edition of the game you could currently find out there. With little new features, an extra story, quality of life improvements and the awesome 2D mode, even if you had the game on other systems you should get it again on Switch and have it with you at all times.- PLAY! Hogwarts Legacy brings the world of Harry Potter to life, more than we could ever hope for. A weaker main story and some unpolished elements can’t dent the armour of a mind-blowing atmosphere built through a world that feels truly alive. When it comes to world-building, this game is a true monster - a beast that will engulf you until every last corner of it is explored, and every story brought to its end. Undoubtedly a masterful experience.- PLAY! Zine

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is one of the most fun and compelling voxel and creative experiences the genre can afford to a player. Even though it fails to use some of its features, as a co-op, and it possesses some smaller misconceptions here and there, it truly is a fascinating building RPG experience with the amount of content to provide you dozens upon dozens of hours of fun.- PLAY! Dragon Quest Time Devourer is back! A full-fledged JRPG with plenty of Minecraft elements comes as a ridiculously huge and open sandbox world. If there is a single element of the game that catches your eye, the bet is - you would enjoy it. Because, Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a monster of a game, only one with enough spare time will manage to explore it in a full capacity.- PLAY! Zine

PlatinumGames has surly shown that they still got it in the action game genre and are still leading game developers there. The two-character combat is bombastic and exciting, the detective exploration system is truly great and the story and characters tie all that together in a nice package no one should miss out on.- PLAY! Full Body is another proof that Atlus and Shigenori Soejima are master storytellers, presenting this remake of cult PS3 classic as another improved lunge into depths of human emotion. It is funny, witty, dark and serious at the same time, all while pushing the player through difficult(or not so much on Safety mode) puzzle sequences, with some of the greatest OSTs rolling in the background.- PLAY! Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is an incredible western RPG that draws big inspiration from Bethesda games of old. While the latest similar games like Starfield and Avowed failed to capture the essence of these kinds of games, Tainted Grail does so perfectly. It does not hold the players’ hand and encourages them to explore every inch of the map, and there will always be something to find. And with an incredibly competitive AA price point, I wholeheartedly recommend this game to every RPG player.- PLAY! Zine

Skyward Sword was and still remains to be one of the greatest Zelda titles of all time. Fans of the original formula might not agree, but innovative, intuitive, and different style of gameplay, always boldly stood their ground in face of the critique that yearns for the familiar experience. HD remaster is undoubtedly well earned, and while it hits many points on improving the sluggish aspects of the original, the very core remains intact. Yet even after it all, the biggest regret might be a missed opportunity to improve on the graphics that needed more than a resolution boost. But either way, it is an experience that is very easy to recommend, yet even easier to fall in love with. You may even find it to be just perfect - just for you.- PLAY! Zine

It isn't an easy task to bring a masterful end to a successful trilogy. Yet Dark Souls 3 does it flawlessly. A great "ending" to a great franchise, Dark Souls 3 might feel a bit easier than the veterans are used to, but don’t be fooled – it’s still a Dark Souls game at its core. Hard but fair and a joy to bear.- PLAY! Zine

Crimson Desert is a game you must get used to for it to get amazing. In the first few hours I wanted to give up. However, I persevered and I would regret it if I hadn’t. The sense of wonder, exploration and combat is top notch and scratches that Skyrim itch I’ve been having for years. The story is weaker and starts super “MMOish”, but it picks up the pace later and immerses you into a political and supernatural war between… well, everybody! By the 100th hour I still have not discovered everything nor did I finish the story, but there is not a minute of free time that I don’t spend playing this game. It pulled me in, and won’t let me go, and at this point, I don’t want it to.- PLAY! Zine

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a great game about a couple of siblings with very different lives, forced to survive in a dangerous world, constantly on the run. Asobo studio manages to tell this dark tale really well, always keeping the player on the edge of the seat, questioning which of the many enemies will get them first.- PLAY! Zine

Silent Hill f marks a bold new step for the series and a clear sign of Konami’s return to AAA games. The Japanese setting feels fresh, while the atmosphere, visuals and psychological horror stay true to the franchise’s identity. Despite some technical issues and uneven combat, the game delivers a strong story and an unsettling experience that fans of the genre will surely appreciate.- PLAY! Zine

Pikmin 3 Deluxe brings back the beloved game and improves it on many fields. Better controls, more cooperative options and new story pieces to name a few. It does not enhance the game in visual terms enough to call it an improvement, yet if you wanted to go back to the Pikmin 3 or to experience it for the first time, this is the definitive version of the game to date.- PLAY!
