Strange mouse controls blows a hole, very monotonous gameplay sinks Space Siege. Come on, Chris Taylor. [Sept 2008]

An easy racing game for children. It has minor graphic problems and a much too easy story mode, but the soundtrack is awesome. [Oct 2006]

You have to give credit to Ubisoft for being original with the Wii game. They haven't ported the bigger version to moderate platform by force. The sneaking is fun and the game truly has it's moments. The script and the main character are stupid and the game is easy as a walk in the park. Where's the ambition? [Jan 2010]

Pointless violence is fun and this viking showdown is good for some old-fashioned arcade smashing especially in multiplayer mode. It's an debut to old Amiga games. Back then all you needed was a joystick with two buttons. [Jan 2013]

The newest installation of the Call of Juarez franchise brings the series to modern day. Unfortunately this is like taking a shot in the kneecaps. The game can't stand in it's own feet anymore. The game is crowned with some really stupid game design flaws. It was once upon a time in the west, now it's just west. And plain west is not the best. [Sept 2011]

The third Lego Batman game is a copy-paste from other Lego games made by Traveller's Tales. At this point it's getting pretty frustrating to see the exactly same game with new characters and some minor tweaks. This isn't a bad game, I've just seen this same stuff so many times before. Assassin’s Creed II: The Battle of Forli. Hopes were high when Ubisoft released The Battle of Forli, the first DLC pack for Assassin’s Creed II, but sadly Ezio takes a misstep here. The Battle of Forli shows us what happened during Ezio’s Memory Sequence number 12. He is back in Forli and he… well, the title says it all. Ezio battles each and everyone in the city. Caterina Sforza, Ezio’s hostess, is an interesting enough character, but the constant killing makes one obtunded. At least the price of the DLC (4 euros) is affordable. [Mar 2010]

Pleasant to look at, but has very limited tactical depth. What is worse there is not really much else to do other than fire the phasers. Only a die-hard trekkie could enjoy this – and, sadly, probably will. [Feb 2007]

Slender was a short and sweet horror game, which worked well because it kept things simple and duration short. Daylight feels lackluster because it tries to do too much with a concept that was only good for a single short-form horror game. [June 2014]

Has a good feel of the world of Narnia in it, but as a game it is rather dull and average. Good fun for the fans of the movie. [Jan 2006]

Entertaining but much too short. The camera angles are awful and the action itself is a little too hectic. Duels, however, are nicely done. [July 05]

Descend RGP has a nice old school dungeon crawler feel to it, but the challenges come from all the wrong places: the hunger, the lack of healing and the endless stream of random encounters. Should the developer ever decide to patch up the game balance, Descend would definitely warrant a second look. [Nov 2011]

Same game has different name. Only die-hard fans should buy this DLC, because it doesn't add much to the experience. Samurai units are too powerful making other new units nearly useless. [Nov 2011]

Chaos on Deponia delivers some laughs, but on the downside the puzzles are illogical and the main character is a total jerk. With better story and some added logic, this extremely beautiful point'n'clicker would've been so much better. If you want challenge, this is your game. For those of who appreciate solid story-telling, you better keep looking. [March 2013]

Back in 1995: A very strange and flawed game, but that very strange and flawed nature also makes it compelling. It's as if someone found an obscure 3DO horror game from the mid-nineties and released it on Steam completely unaltered. Whether that's a good thing really depends on how you feel about old survival horror. [June/July 2016]

The story – if you can call it that – is a collection of cliches, but not in a funny way. The game offers a variety of puzzles: Most of them are enjoyable, but some are dull and one even horrific. The cut-scenes are nice and voice acting tolerable. All in all, the thing that keeps the game from falling into oblivion are the puzzles. Maybe the sequel will do better. [Dec 2007]

A quite decent FPS, which misses the target on several counts. You can break stuff, but not enough and there's some arcade elements, but not enough. [Oct 2011]

A mediocre, fast paced mecha action that pretty much targets the marginal audience really getting their kicks from tuning massive combat robots. For average player, clinical storytelling without drama and hooks, nonexistant tutorial to the world and the game, and especially to the overwhelmingly complex robot modification will quickly dull the interest. The core of the game in combat and in the garage is solid, but that’s sadly it. [Mar 2008]

Lionhead's attempt to make the Fable franchise accessible to younger generations doesn't hit the goal spot on. Clunky controls, boring combat and a character system that solely relies on luck aren't the best building blocks for a game for kids. If a parent take's part as an wingman, Fable Heroes offers relatively good fun for couple of hours. [June 2012]
