A charmingly colourful, albeit a slow and repetitive RPG with a good cast of characters and a boring narrative. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

A linear and slightly boring shoot'em up, which does not tap into the main game's strengths. Why the heck did we get a small scale conflict as the climax, when there was this whole end of the world stuff readily available as a dramatic finale? [Mar 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Black Desert Online had potential to be ground breaking, but suffers from a monotous PVE grind and some questionable practices regarding its cash shop. [Oct 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

Everything works just fine. But it is so by the book that there is really nothing to write home about. [Jan. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

This mystery game about memory simulation is at first intriguing, but it quickly reveals itself to be only a beautifully detailed surface with little substance underneath. Even multiple endings do not help the story, because search for them offers mostly repetition and false leads. [Oct 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

A light gun shooter that is more fan service than catering to a wider audience. The game is decent but it’s also hard - sometimes very hard - and manages to frustrate at times. It’s also bland looking and ugly. For Resident Evil fans only. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Jungles of Pandora offer a nice setting for an action game, but unfortunately the game itself fails to deliver. The mission structure is stolen from MMOs, the storyline devolves to preaching and the game is very easy. The graphics are beautiful and there would have been a lot of potential, considering the PR. Now the game is nothing more than an average license product. And that is a shame. [Jan 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

The Elder Scrolls Online has great potential, but wastes it on failed group gameplay and general bugginess of the game. Subscription fee and the stuff left exclusively to Imperial Edition feel a bit questionable too. [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Total War: Rome 2 : Hannibal at the Gates Second Punic war is an excellent theme for a DLC. The conflict is a reasonable small-scaled but still Carthage acts as a strong counterforce against Rome. [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Grid 2 feels rushed and unpolished, there is tons of better arcade racing games out there. I'd rather play the first GRID. [Aug 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 The new mechanics are somewhat interesting, but ultimately make it a less satisfying experience than Championship Edition DX. Also, making ghost eating a cutscene seriously breaks the flow of the game. [Nov 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

A decent enough collection on winter sports themed minigames. The sense of speed is very good. Too bad the selection of sports is way too small. [Feb 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Finally, some hexagons! As much as I would like to play turn-based strategy on the Xbox, especially on maps as pretty as these, the poor campaign, simplified tactical combat and magical power-ups are a big let-down. [Jan 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A visually beautiful adventure that ultimately fails to deliver where it counts. The irritating script, the dumbed-down game mechanics and the utter lack of anything remotely resembling a challenge lead to the regrettable conclusion that Xbox 360 is still lacking its definitive j-rpg title. The first actual dancing game. The music selection is great, but the movement detection should be a little bit better. It's quite fun with friends, nonetheless. [June 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Worlds of Magic is a nice modernization of Master of Magic. It is a pity that the AI is too passive and the UI feels like it is still 90s. [May 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

Jane Jensen's newest delivers a deep and compelling storyline, which yet again combines fact with fiction in intriguing ways. Although the script is solid, same can't be said of the technical execution of the game. Buggy graphics and especially lazy puzzle design make Moebius the worst adventure game Jensen's made. It's not a bad game, but it's not something you'd expect from one of the best scriptwriter of the industry. [June 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Create strives hard to be a worthy spiritual successor to The Incredible Machine, but falls somewhat short. For the most part, the puzzles just aren't creative or clever enough to be much fun and the presentation is outright boring. [May 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Pleasant to look at, but has very limited tactical depth. What is worse there is not really much else to do other than fire the phasers. Only a die-hard trekkie could enjoy this – and, sadly, probably will. [Feb 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Capcom sure knows how to make money. This game is rather an adaptation instead of a sequel. This could easily been sold as DLC, but the marketing department decided otherwise. If you've seen the original, no need to bother for a re-run. [Nov 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Left 4 Dead 2: The Passing is a bit better than Crash Course DLC for Left 4 Dead, but only barely. Three levels is still too few for a campaign and the potential drama from the original survivors isn't used up to its potential. Also the campaign is filled with the least desirable ideas from Left 4 Dead, like annoying perma-panic in shallow water and yet another scavenge-type ending. Maybe next time we'll finally get something decent, Valve? [June 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

The drunken cameraman is back. Slashing and slicing is not as satisfying as it should be. Legna the Dragon is the real hero of this nice little action-oriented RPG. [Mar 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Although free to play is the biggest trend in mobile games at the moment, it doesn't fit too well with Puzzle Quest. I'd pay ten bucks for this in a heartbeat for experiencing the campaign, but now I'm left with monotonous grinding and replaying same missions over and over in order to level my heroes to the point, that I can progress to the next fight. Pvp-games are crippled, because the matches are won by those, who are willing to spend money on their hero roster. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Geist is the kind of game the Gamecube needs. The idea of a wandering spirit works fantastically and is fun to play, but as a shooter Geist has nothing to offer. [Oct 2005]- Pelit (Finland)

A strange mix of a decent side quest and a Mass Effect sketch comedy show. It's nice having the whole crew together for the last time, but the jokes are really not that funny or entertaining. Fan service meets fan fiction meets cheesy writing. [Apr 2013]- Pelit (Finland)
