The stylus controls are fine and everything works as it should. But there is a certain lack of charisma - that extra something that makes a good game great. [Feb 2007]

Interesting and understandable plot, less running in a dark forest but more action. New Alan shows how XBLA games should be done. [Feb 2012]

A twisted masterpiece of sickness that is as ambitious as it is flawed. If you can endure the slow, repetitive gameplay and clumsy translation, you will reap unparalleled rewards in narrative and atmosphere. [Feb 2016]

Tries to be funny but the jokes are far too obvious. As a game it stumbles upon the same mistakes and cliches it makes fun of. Poetic justice, if something. [May. 05]

After a few hours of adjustment, blam! I suddenly fell in love with RO2, regardless of the bugs and other issues. Its unique, realistic, ruthless portrayal of war is a refreshing antithesis for crowdpleasers like Call of Duty and Battlefield. RO2 will be a long lasting cult game, and personally I can't wait the game is fixed so I can get back to the ruins of Stalingrad! [Oct 2011]

Broken Age doesn’t quite reach the heights of Psychonauts or Grim Fandango, but it still manages to be a solid and fun old school adventure game. [June 2015]

Aliens: Infestation's beginning is very strong and atmospheric, but unfortunately the same can't be said about the rest of the game. When xenomorphs neither scare nor challenge you, something has gone wrong. Permanent death in an adventure like this is a cool idea, though. [Nov 2011]

Dumb idea combined with retro outfitting is sure to meet it's goal. McPixel is a weird cross-over of WarioWare and point'n'click adventure. The game is so bizarre that you are bound to have some laughs. [Aug 2012]

Fun while it lasts. The game mechanics are simple, but they work well. It is a shame there is no multiplayer option and that the game does not last very long. Still, one of the best light war games on the GameCube. [Dec 2005]

A simple arcade soccer. Fun for multiplayer sessions, but the lack of depth limits its longevity. Next Level guys come from the team behind Sega Soccer Slam, and it really shows. [Jan 2006]

You can't judge the whole series by the first episode, but if you could, Grand Adventures would be top quality already. The game adaptation hasn't lost the spirit of the wax-animation series, on the contrary, the game feels like a natural companion to them. The plot's nice, voice-acting's good and the puzzles are enjoyable, although a little too easy. Few rough edges still remain, but the future's looking good. Cracking job, Telltale! [May 2009]

What we have here is a Dynasty Warriors -style hack'n'slash adventure with The Legend of Zelda -trappings. The combination works surprisingly well. [Sept 2014]

Payday: The Heist is maybe Left 4 Cops, but still a very good interpretation with nice own ideas. Continous, massive cop slaughtering could use some tweaking, as it gets somewhat monotonous. [Nov 2011]

Paper Mario Colour Splash is a fun action-adventure, but falls a bit short game design-wise. The fun lasts for two thirds of the game, the last stretch of the game is quite dull and repetitive. The game would've benefited a lot from a little more complex game mechanics and a somewhat simpler user interface. [Nov 2016]

Stylish boss rush that resembles bullet hell games at times. Despite providing a tough challenge, Furi is never cheap or unfair. Tight and very responsive controls are worth a special mention. [Sept 2016]

A nice romance and party oriented add-on for The Sims 2. Does not add to the basic concept as much as University did, but at least it gives a lot of new things to do with your little computer people. [Sept. 05]

The first eight hours are pure boredom but when the storyline picks up, things start happening. The plot and the characters are both excellent and the fighting-system works well. Without the slow start, this might have been the best in the series. [Dec 2006, p.82]

Compared to Aiden Pearce, T-Bone is a much more likeable protagonist. Unfortunately, Bad Blood doesn’t do nearly enough to fix and improve the problems with Watch Dogs’ gameplay. The fact that T-Bone basically plays like a re-skinned Aiden doesn’t help. [Jan 2015]

An experimental adventure that succeeds at being a genuinely touching gaming experience, even though it doesn't quite live up to all of its potential. The island you explore is absolutely beautiful and the story is interesting, if not exceedingly original. [March 2012]

Starts off strong with fun missions that follow the story of the movies nicely. However, towards the end the quality and amount of plot-related missions goes down and the optional missions start to repeat themselves. It is still a fun GTA clone, just not what it could have been. [April 2006]

Amazing Alex has a nice idea, but the levels are far too easy. Most of them can be completed without any thought whatsoever. Alex itself is one of the most annoying know-it-alls in recent memory and the game would be more enjoyable without his smug little face. [Sept 2012]
