Now with added unlockables and online play, Final Fight's simple but satisfying gameplay is as fun as ever. But surely Capcom could have coupled the classic beat 'em up with something better than the lacklustre Magic Sword? [June 2010]

It's somewhat short and the boss battles are truly awful, but otherwise Sonic Generations is a solid platformer. Revisiting old levels is nostalgic and having two Sonics to control is a nice touch. [Dec 2011]

Remedy’s newest action-adventure is ambitious, looks gorgeous and has great action, but the story doesn’t quite live up to its potential. [Apr 2016]

Universe at War feels initially too much like blast from the past. Mainly thanks to some fun units and interesting background setting, in the end UAW is an OK game. No less, no more. [Mar 2008]

Hearts of Iron III has lot of potential but is crippled by bugs and flawed AI. The addon surely will fix many problems but are fans willing to sacrifice 20 buck for a patch? [June 2010]

Supreme Commander 2 is now Supreme Command & Conquer. As a sequel to Supreme Commander it is disappointing, but taken only as an RTS with robots it is better than average. [Mar 2010]

A very good tank combat game. It's reasonably realistic, but clearly not a simulation. [March 2014]

Respectably faithful to the Penny Arcade style. The battle system is fun, but otherwise the lack of meaningful content brings the game down; a story-based game should have a story that grabs you and won't let go. [Sept 2008]

Everybody knows that the prequel episodes of Star Wars are diarrhea, but Rovio's vision isn't bird poop. The game let's you play as the imperial pigs or the birds of the old republic and the level design is puzzle-based. Bird Wars works like a charm! [Nov 2013]

Ubisoft's flagship title has a really, really repulsive protagonist. The entire storyline feels like it was cranked out of a automated story generator. On the positive side, Watch Dogs looks really good on PC, especially after modding the graphics to match the visual splendor of the early E3 demos. [Aug 2014]

A good skateboarding game, but cannot live up to the high expectations. The gameplay is still outstanding, but the game suffers from a lack of fresh ideas and a way-too-short story mode. [Dec 2005]

The new extreme tracks are a welcome addition, and the game looks as good as ever. The AI drivers are a bit too harsh when it comes to collisions and ramming the player off the track. [Nov 2005]

Newest addition to the Kirby franchise feels once again fresh and new. The mix of platformer and ancient Lemmings works like a charm and the game design is well balanced. This game truly is a proper testament for the aging DS. [Dec 2011]

Heroes of Might and Magic V is like meeting an old friend. There is not really that much new if you have played the earlier games, but who cares when the new version is both addictive and beautiful to watch. [June 2006]

Shines in flight and physics modeling as well as the actual combat, but AI and especially the campaign engine could use a lot of further development. Whether or not the engine can handle proper campaigns remains to be seen, however. [Apr 2010]

Lumo is a neo-retro game done right: Tough as nails, but at the same time addicting. No matter how many times the main character kicks the bucket, you'll be ready for rematch. If the equipment survived the tantrums that the game regularly provides. [Aug 2016]

An awesome shooter that looks gorgeous and feels great. Although shooting is fun, the gameplay tends to be a bit frustrating because of the long levels, too few checkpoints and no saving option during the missions. [Mar 2006]

Plays like a John Woo movie. Although ”tequila time” is nothing new, it is still a great effect. Gameplay is solid and everything runs smoothly. Action tends to get a bit repetitive towards the end, however. [Oct 2007]

A title you definitely didn't expect to see on PC, Ace Combat looks like a flight sim and plays like the vehicular sections of Call of Duty. It's a fun game while it lasts. The linear missions mean that the game holds no replay-value whatsoever. [Feb 2013]

Indiana Jones is one of the greatest adventure game heroes of all time. It's a shame, that the official games have degenerated in to platformes. This adventure is so close to the Indy's heritage, that you can almost taste it.

Stays true to the spirit of the old Heroes of Might & Magic games. There are some gameplay innovations, most of which are good, but basically it feels very familiar. Whether this is good or bad depends on the player, but overall Heroes VI is a fine specimen of an almost extinct genre. [Nov 2011]
