As far as the graphics go, Crysis 3 really squeezes everything out of Xbox 360. As a finale for a trilogy, the game could've really used a much more engaging story. The stealth gameplay is also not as good as it could be, the A.I. is simply too dumb for its own good. [March 2013]

Worms W.M.D is, well, Worms at it's best: a fun, turn-based tactical combat game for up to six players. The new additions, like vehicles and building interiors, work. Crafting is meaningless, though. [Oct 2016]

An enjoyable rugby game. Tutorial and practice mode are helpful for beginners, but scrums, rucks and mauls are still pretty hard to play. Passing game is done extremely well. [Feb 2006]

From Dust feels like a demo of Populous 4. Tutorial parts (with too much hand helding) ran too long, but couple of levels display the possibilities what From Dust could have been. Still worth the price, though. [Sept 2011]

It probably would be more intuitive to play an adventure game with a steering wheel and pedals, when compared to the controls that D4 brings to the table. On top of that, the game is crippled with a stupid hunger minigame, that requires you to hunt food, or else you run out of stamina. The story is quite compelling and the wacky characters try their best to keep the game afloat, but the controls and the core mechanics just aren’t up for the task. [Feb 2015]

Much too static and scripted and requires unearthly patience. What is the point in stalking if no one does anything without the stalker doing something first? [Dec 2005]

Destiny is a flawed but still extremely fun first person shooter. While the Destiny universe itself seems intriguing, the storyline is told in such an incoherent manner that it's hard not to be turned off by all the technobabble. Fortunately the co-op shooter mechanics are absolutely perfect. The loot system can be maddening, but in a way it adds to the game's addictiveness. [Oct 2014]

Not a masterpiece, but still a highly addictive football experience. The new AI system does not have great impact on gameplay. However, there are a lot of minor improvements, such as advanced set pieces and a brand new Master League. [Nov 2007]

It’s got the freedom (partly) and it’s got realism (mostly) but it’s also badly designed with strict time limits, scarce checkpoints, bad AI, loads of bugs and a netcode that isn't worth a damn. It’s still rewarding though and it doesn’t have much competition on consoles. [Nov 2010]

Say explosions. Say big guns. Say over the top kick-ass action. Say Renegade Ops. The top-down vehicle-based shooter puts a smile on your face if you grew up watching the action films from the 1980s. Havoc, destruction and mayhem – renegade operations have never been this entertaining before. [Feb 2012]

A surprisingly good combination of action and strategy - influenced by the old Carrier Command. The single player mode would have been a lot better if the AI was not so heavily scripted, but the fun multiplayer mode more than makes up for it. [Mar 2007]

An outrageous orgy of twisted metal and flying debris. The races are fast and furious. Too bad the AI drivers cheat to keep the races exciting. [Aug 2006, p.28]

Strider is a very good 2D platform adventure with good combat elements and nice bosses. Checkpoints could be better and the levels are a bit too dark in places. [March 2014]

With a bit more length and better combat, SteamWorld Dig could've been fighting with the big boys of indie platforming for the top spot. Still, it's a fun, addictive and original platformer, and I really wish it gets a sequel. [Feb 2014]

Like almost any 4x space strategy, hits the mark on some features (combat, some aspects of diplomacy), and misses on others (dull, uncommunicative races, rigid Spaceship Tetris). [May 2016]

Toki Tori 2's way of leaving the player to their own devices is a double-edged sword. Having to repeat solved puzzles all the time due to backtracking or missing a key clue: bad. Having to figure almost everything for yourself: very refreshing and rewarding. [May 2013]

This weird exploitation version of Alan Wake is filled with dirty jokes and interesting scenery. Unfortunately the dull controls make the game situated in hell feel like it's from hell. If you can get past the clunky controls and cramped level design, the game is quite good substitute while the next Resident Evil is in the making. [Aug 2011]

A few years back no one would have said it, but now it can be said. Thank God for Steam. Without this digital distribution platform we wouldn't be able to play games such as Plain Sight. The fast-paced multiplayer game is a unique combination of Super Mario Galaxy and first person shooters. After an hour of gaming, it plays like a charm. Plain Sight is like a refreshing gush of wind in a musty tomb, and for nine Euros it is an absolute bargain. [June 2010]

A prime example of a product that's been designed for the old-timers that have grown up playing adventure games from LucasArts and Sierra. It's an excellent tribute to the former giants of the adventure game industry. [Apr 2013]

Thanks to PC controls, shooting is no longer a source of constant irritation and the game can really shine. CoC in an excellent horror adventure. Fear and loss of sanity can really be seen and felt. The game is faithful to Cthulhu mythos, full of memorable scenes and has the only ending there can be. [Apr 2006]

The Old Blood feels like two Wolfenstein games mushed together. The first half of the game is really good, but the enjoyment is truly lacking during the second half, when you’re fighting against bullet-sponge-y enemies and endlessly spawning zombies. [June 2015]

Bone: Out from Boneville & The Great Cow Race are good fun even for beginners. The Great Cow Race is much better than the shaky first episode, being more non-linear, having tighter gameplay and expanding on the comic's story instead of just retelling it. [Jan 2007]

Graphically amazing but sadly the content isn't on the same level as the looks. Character classes are boring, quests are repetitive and the game world isn’t very fascinating. Aion’s endgame might offer something for the dedicated PvP’er, but too bad the way there is mind-numbingly dull. [Nov 2010]
