A charmingly beautiful little adventure to watch but a horrendously awful game to play. The clumsy combat mechanics, generally unpleasant gameplay and violently unfair difficulty make this one of the most unpleasant gaming experiences of the year. A visually beautiful adventure that ultimately fails to deliver where it counts. Fun for a while, but two measly levels is just too little, too late. Especially for a game that's practically made for DLC campaigns. Also the difficulty level is ramped up a bit too much on expert. Left 4 Dead 2: The Passing is a bit better than Crash Course DLC for Left 4 Dead, but only barely. Although free to play is the biggest trend in mobile games at the moment, it doesn't fit too well with Puzzle Quest. Il-2: Battle of Stalingrad boldly seeks to renew the genre by adding modern game design elements to the admittedly often sterile genre of flight simulators. Unfortunately not only does the bold attempt fail spectacularly, the developers also seem to have completely forgotten what made the original Il-2 a legend. The Rise of Flight legacy shows in the rather impressive visuals and physics modeling, but strangely a lot of its nice features didn't make the cut either and the “sequel” falls short of its predecessor in many ways. A good basis which is sadly spoilt by too little variety in possible activities while making your town grow and prosper. You mostly get to built new houses and furniture on demand which becomes boring in a few days time. You would not expect such horridly long and frequent loading times and occasional jerkiness in gameplay either. [Nov 2007]

Nothing more than a bunch of minigames that suffer from an awkward camera system. [Dec 2005]

With three brand new maps and two old ones, the only thing special about the Stimulus Map Pack is the steep price. You really need to be a hardcore Modern Warfare 2 enthusiast to get your money's worth. [May 2010]

Looks great, but plays in a way that proves that iPad is not an action games device. [Apr 2012]

Has a good feel of the world of Narnia in it, but as a game it is rather dull and average. Good fun for the fans of the movie. [Jan 2006]

Well, obviously this had to be done. Bioshock is a beautiful iShooter, but unfortunately the controls are absolutely horrible. Here we have one of the best FPS games on iPad. This tells a sad story of a genre that’s totally wrong for the platform. [Oct 2014]

What could've been a good sequel to a great RPG is shot down by several shortcomings including (but not limited to) out-of-date graphics, numerous flaws in the storytelling department and a dull and lifeless world. While Dawn works as a nostalgia trip for Symphonia fans, it just doesn't have much to offer to other players. [Jan 2010]

A really intriguing mixture of genres. There's a sandbox world to explore, lot's of first-person shooting and some role-playing, with space flight and combat thrown in to tie it all together. It's unfinished, badly written and at times not very fun, but there's nothing out there like it. [Oct 2011]

The battles look and sound nice, but do not offer much in terms of tactics and are often frustrating because of the ship captains' low IQ. [Oct 2006]

Star Wars Pinball is a classic game, based on the George Lucas' Universe. The table Design is inspired and everything works fine, but the annoying bug with the wifi connection must be addressed as soon as possible.
