The game’s title summarises the story; there’s some betrayal, and you’re looking to do some paying back. There’s technically good dialogue, in the same way a Fast and Furious movie technically has good dialogue. Occasionally you’ll chuckle. The rest of the time you really won’t care.- NZGamer

The whole thing feels rushed and incomplete. The lack of a proper roster update is the tip of a terrible iceberg. The game is a chore to play and despite being a big wrestling fan (or perhaps because of it) I never really had any fun. WWE 2K18 costs $110, but feels like a freemium mobile game. A failure on so many levels.- NZGamer

For the most part Micro Machines: World Series is very close to being a great game; all it requires is a proper single player championship mode. Unfortunately, the broken online ruins much of the experience. Anyone looking for local co-op action should pick the game up if it’s on sale, but if you’re playing on your own, it’s tough to recommend.- NZGamer

The biggest issue with gameplay was the autosave feature. We’re all used to autosave these days; the swirling icon that either means you’ve just added something to your character or that presages an encounter. In H:TR the autosave feature also means that the game will freeze for a few seconds. It’s an ugly glitch and one that ruins that feeling I described earlier of dashing from cover and hoping that the patrol won’t see you. It’s a pretty big glitch and I am surprised it hasn’t been patched out yet.- NZGamer

A game that suffers from its fundamentals. The act of moving your troops around the battlefield, and engaging in combat, is too far removed from the player’s input – leading to frustration rather than gratification.- NZGamer

Zombie Army Trilogy feels exactly like what you think it is – a collection of DLC packages. With a bare-bones frame propping it up, the game is an emaciated experience with an overly ambitious price tag attempting to tie it all together.- NZGamer

If you’re considering this game, stay away. There are better Yu-Gi-Oh! games out there, and there are better digital card games out there. The only reason I can think of to buy this - and there’s no hyperbole here - is for the three exclusive physical cards it comes with.- NZGamer

Daylight’s claim to fame is its reported replay value; that no scare will ever be the same twice. While it is technically true that the level geometry does change from playthrough-to-playthrough, the scares certainly see some overlap, and the writing isn’t worth a return visit. There are no nascent ideas in Daylight – just the desperate, flailing attempts to throw every horror cliché at the wall.- NZGamer

It’s not a bad game and the general combat can have moments of fun. But as I said at the start, most of the time when I was playing this title, I just kept thinking to myself “I am not enjoying this and would rather be doing something else right now”. Take that for what you will.- NZGamer

Turbo: Super Stunt Squad will have a limited shelf-life that can be perfectly mapped to the cinema release of the movie and possibly the follow-up DVD sales window. It will entertain fans of the movie over a wet weekend or two, but ultimately the sub-par graphics, limited gameplay, and clunky controls make this game about as flawed as Ryan Reynolds' acting.- NZGamer

Functional. The motion controls work fine and there's very little lag in tracking your movements. The game’s iconic visual style also translates beautifully onto the big screen in high-definition. But what’s completely lacking here is the casual fun and simple addictiveness that made the mobile game such a success. And without that, I’m not sure why this Kinect port of the game exists.- NZGamer

Perhaps I shouldn’t have been surprised that ORION: Dino Horde was such a disappointment. The gaming industry has been rife with rumors about scurrilous behaviour concerning a very similar title, Dino Beatdown. ORION: Dino Horde's rough edges suggest that it has been quickly brought to market and cynically shoveled out to gamers in the vain hope that its over the top premise will bring in a few bucks.- NZGamer

Ultimately, it's about as disappointing as a game could be. It's less "Call of Duty" and more "cynical cash grab," attempting to con Vita owners out of their hard-earned. At a budget price, with the bugs fixed and a name that better suits the experience, things might be different; as it is, this game is less Declassified and more Disgusting. Avoid, and tell your friends to do likewise.- NZGamer

Disappointing. The sound and graphics seem to be an afterthought. The characters are generic - fantasy characters 101 - all with very basic fight animations. Even the strange little dances they do, when they make it to the other side of the board, hold little interest. There are eight of them, and once you've seen them, that's it.- NZGamer

A strange mash up of party game and action RPG title that doesn't do either well.
