    Wet
WET isn't a bad action game after all. Ruby's acrobatics quite meet the frantic gameplay while the smart design of some locations allows players to give vent to their killing fancy. But WET is actually just a boring sequence of repetitive environments and situations. The game itself lasts just a few hours, no online mode is available and the content to unlock is plain and useless. We would like to talk about neat ideas but truth is that Ruby got WET just because she failed a jump and fell in the water.

On the technical side, every element has taken a visible hit, but the frame rate is stable enough that you can play without too much worry. If Terminator 2 is one of your favorite films and you have a soft spot for early ’90s arcade titles, then Terminator 2D: No Fate is exactly what you’re looking for. The attention to detail in reimagining the movie as an arcade experience is remarkable: three distinct playable characters, run ’n gun sections, high-speed chases, and even stealth and beat ’em-up levels. Every scene is brought to life with gorgeous pixel art. It’s only a shame that, despite its variety, the gameplay remains a bit too basic in each of its different forms.

Immortals of Aveum is a surprising shooter, characterized by a very peculiar and evocative setting, well supported by a story that may not be original but is able to involve and enthrall with its well-drawn characters. At first a bit uncertain, the gameplay quickly takes hold taking us inside ruthless and frenetic arenas, which from a certain point onwards become perhaps too hostile, suggesting us to fall back and strengthen the hero by taking advantage of the possibilities of a structure that, however, from this point of view is not at all deepened.

It's really a shame, because a few more forethought from an authorial point of view and a shorter overall duration would have been enough to pack the icing on the cake of a project that has given interesting vibes. Enotria: The Last Song deserves full marks, we are absolutely certain of this. But it is a title full of imperfections: this too is undeniable. Imperfections that denote a certain inexperience of the development team who chose to risk too much, to launch themselves into one of the most complex genres of the current videogame market, where there are some practically unattainable progenitors and a small handful of other exponents who, with difficulty, they did it. Unfortunately, Enotria is very far from all of these and although it offers an experience that, we are sure, will give some satisfaction to those who need to play at least one soulslike a month, it does not allow us to overlook all the problems associated with its game mechanics and the experience it offers. Our hope is that the team takes advantage of the criticism and launches headlong into a sequel capable of drastically improving every single aspect of the game while maintaining a certainly very fascinating imagery.
