Despite its shortcomings, FAR: Changing Tides is stunning and is an atmospheric triumph. I loved the developer’s vision for a doomed future, and the array of environments you explore.

Amerzone - The Explorer's Legacy is a wonderful remake that will impress modern audiences. The beautiful scenery is captivating and the puzzles will test you. Furthermore, the plot is outlandish but great to experience.

While this latest entry in the Atelier Series may not excel in every mechanic it employs, it has clearly mastered one. Its complete realisation of the alchemy gameplay is a consistent pleasure to play. Its shortcomings minor and major in its visuals, story, or combat are routinely overshadowed by the satisfaction of improving your alchemical skills. Provided you know what you’re getting into, you’re sure to enjoy your time stirring the pot.

It’s not revolutionary, but it doesn’t have to be. Crashlands 2 understands the assignment. Build, survive, connect, and enjoy the journey. With its snappy writing, warm design, and rich mechanics, it doesn’t just imitate its genre siblings; it earns its seat at the table. Crashlands 2 is worth the crash.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is another triumphant return to a franchise dear to my heart. Superb campaigns remade in glorious visuals and a streamlined user experience help make this collection the definitive pro skater package. Whilst the changes made to THPS4 may upset some purists, this is still, for the most part, the games I grew up with fantastic modernised controls and gorgeous visual and animation design. Of course, the glaring omissions in the soundtrack soured my experience to some extent, but thankfully, not terminally. In an era of remakes or remasters, you can place this one squarely in the remake category. A fully remade game from the ground up. Tony Hawk Pro Skater games give you a little slice of nostalgia and they’re just downright fun!

Backfirewall_ offers a delightful puzzle adventure within a smartphone, filled with witty characters and clever environmental puzzles. While the story is simple and the puzzles can get repetitive, its charm and unique perspective make it a must-play for puzzle fans and anyone looking for a heartwarming tech tale.

If you’re into Strategy games this can be a fun take on things. Plus I’d wager it’s also a great entry point into the genre. Its learning curve isn’t steep enough to scare off newbies, and it’s got more than enough content to keep you going for a long time.

MouseCraft is a wonderful puzzle title that'll test your mind. It combines challenges for spatial awareness as well as logical tests. It's fun, whacky, and addictive as hell.

Blake: The Visual Novel can be funny and captivating, but it’s also sad and melancholic. Besides the few nitpicks that I’ve already mentioned, I think the game has something for everyone. Whether you’ll see the game’s twists coming your way or not, that’s only something you can answer yourself. My only warning is to not be discouraged by the game’s slow start, as the plot really picks up the pace the further you’re into the game. Whether you’re a huge fan of visual novels or not, I’d really recommend you give this one a shot.

Mega City Police is an excellent rogue-lite title that will test your resolve. With flawless graphics and hard-hitting audio, this will enthral you from the first moment. My only complaint, however, is that it wasn't long enough.

New Star GP is an old-school racing title that is addictive and fun. Furthermore, it can be enjoyed alone or on one screen with friends. The action is fast-paced, aggressive, and ridiculous. However, it has an ounce of tactical nuance to add depth.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is a stunning game that can be enjoyed by lovers of the original and newcomers. The story is captivating and you will adore the fantasy edge. Additionally, it never outstays its welcome. If I were to be picky, the puzzles are occasionally too easy.

The Lullaby of Life is a cozy, sound-based puzzle game tackling the complexities of creation and evolution with the simplest of gameplay.

All in all, Synergy is a breath of fresh air in the city-building genre. It doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel entirely, but the way it rethinks environmental interaction and research injects a surprising amount of life into the experience. It’s not just about expanding — it’s about learning, respecting, and coexisting with your environment. The sense of discovery and stewardship that comes from studying the land around you is unlike anything else in the genre right now. If you’re a fan of city builders and looking for something that challenges you to think differently about how you manage your resources and surroundings, Synergy is absolutely worth your time.

LEGO Party is a fun-filled mini-game experience that is better than Mario Party! It is childish, amusing, easy to understand and brilliantly addictive. This is the perfect title to waste some time with friends and strangers online.

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders - Highlands is a stylish addition to the incredible base game. I love the smooth controls, challenging stages, and chilled action. A brilliant DLC.

Kentum is a fantastic Metroidvania that blends the survival genre and base-building perfectly. I love the story, the exploration, and the challenging elements. My only complaint is the trial and error. This caused frustration and will annoy people.

There are a few games I’m playing for the first time and never tried before, which makes this collection even greater. So I can’t compare them all, but it’s no problem cause as I tried them all they play perfectly. Additionally, the story that follows and the entire detailed design is excellent as well! It’s just what I would expect when playing any Capcom fighting game. So if you are searching for more than just one game to keep you actively engaged in some fight sequences, puzzling arcade battles, and much more, then this is a collection you should give a try!

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a wonderful addition to the LEGO games and the Star Wars franchise. It is hilarious, challenging, and in-depth. Furthermore, it's a treat for fans of the series, but equally as great for others. On top of this, it is accessible to players of all ages.

It’s one of those tycoon games I’d play often, as it really is a great way to occupy one’s time and allow one to become a creative capitalist.

It’s my pleasure to say that this game is incredible! The music, graphics, and the nonstop shooting when obtaining a special weapon style object to get you blasting objects, as well as challenges in every level or stage, are like a thrill that won’t have you stopping anytime soon! It’s one of the best games, for those who love continuous action throughout the game, where there is no time for stopping or taking a break.

Tiny Bookshop is insanely repetitive but with an addictive quality to it. The customization options reinforces the fun, and the slow narrative progression is rather soothing instead of boring. It’s a short and sweet, cozy time. Most of the gameplay is just waiting around though. Aside from the recommendations mechanic, I wish you could interact more with customers. I also wish that the environmental interactions could be more involved or elaborate. Regardless, I highly recommend this game. I think with the upcoming cold front and the tendency to become hermitic for the holidays, this is the perfect time to open up your tiny, digital bookshop.

Undeniably charming, with an interesting and inventive plot, even if the writing is a bit wonky at times. However, it poorly connects its plot and gameplay, leading to horrendous pacing that ends up dragging both sides down.

Conceptually, Chernobylite will intrigue you. Its blend of Sci-Fi and clichéd moments are complemented by authentic dialogue and real to life visuals. There is much to love about this survival game and you’ll soon forgive the shortcomings.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is your quintessential kart racing game with great content and a unique and interesting gimmick in the form of the CrossWorlds. What appears to be a very simple kart racing game has far more depth and difficulty than meets the eye, with a plethora of modes, tracks, racers and upgrades. Granted, there are some minor gripes with the tracks sometimes feeling overwhelming, and some punishingly unfair moments. Still, if you are looking for a classic kart racing game with fun mechanics and great online and local co-op gameplay, then this is for you! Sonic is back and with a bang!

Hidden Through Time 2 is a fun-filled 2D hidden object game. Furthermore, it is great for youngsters and adults alike. Can you explore each of the worlds and find every object? Manipulate night and day and discover every secret.

All-in-all 30XX is an excellent example of the genre done right whilst also accounting for people’s varying skill and taste. The graphics are good, the music is superb and the game does exactly what it sets out to do, emulate Mega Man with all its might whilst still creating a fresh experience for veterans of the roguelike circuit.
