    It’s an enjoyably challenging platformer that’s sure to scratch any Mega Man or roguelike itches you have. Factor in Maker Mode, and you’ve got a recipe for a platformer that’s a huge – and hugely fun – time sink.

    30XX is a marked improvement over its predecessor. Beyond the permadeath Standard Mode, you can check out Mega Mode if you’d rather choose your level order and can also create and upload your own levels or chunks of levels. The ability to play as either Nina or Ace and can switch between runs in Standard mode, or play co-op, means you can choose whoever better suits your playstyle. Make no mistake though - even if you’re a fan of Mega Man (specifically Mega Man X) you’ll still find plenty of challenges as you make your way through, but for it’s a challenge I definitely recommend checking out.

    The blue bomber may have all but disappeared into gaming history, but 30XX keeps his legacy alive and energized. It offers tight platforming paired with roguelike chaos and a bevy of customizability that should keep players jumping and shooting for a long time to come.

    30XX is a roguelike that presents a great platforming challenge that's occasionally a little too stiff. It gives players plenty of variety in how they approach it, and the legacy mode that plays like a regular platformer is a welcome addition.

Si bien la historia es escaza, la jugabilidad es rápida, ágil y divertida, cuenta con un apartado visual sólido y colorido gracias al Pixel-Art y la banda sonora acompaña de gran manera durante toda la aventura. La generación aleatoria de los niveles le viene muy bien manteniendo la experiencia fresca, pero si tenemos en cuenta que podemos crear nuestros propios niveles y jugar los creados por otros jugadores tenemos bastante juego para rato. El título es fácilmente recomendable ya sea para jugarlo solo o acompañados de otro jugador para salvar un mundo que necesita de nuestra ayuda.

    Thoughts-
    30XX is one of those games where it really depends on how much you enjoy a particular classic gaming franchise. Fans of the Mega Man X games will find a lot to love here, while those who don’t enjoy side-scrolling action games won’t really find anything in 30XX that will change their mind. If you’re unsure, however, 30XX will offer quite a few hours of fun, assuming you have the patience to master its simple gameplay that allows skilled players the ability to pull of some absolutely incredible feats.    … Expand
