Let's Sing 2024 is a fun-filled singing simulation. Additionally, the career mode will test your fundamentals and the online mode is competitive. Alongside this, the VIP pass expands the core game and offers loads of new tracks.

Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition is a fun and striking puzzle experience. With wonderful hand-drawn graphics and wholesome audio, this is a lovely game to play. What's more, the addition of multiplayer action makes it baarilliant.

Everhood: Eternity Edition is an old-school RPG that twists the narrative. This pixelated adventure is weird, challenging, and laced with rhythm-based madness. Additionally, you'll need razor-sharp reactions to see it through.

Moons of Darsalon is an old-school influenced platformer that is fun, unusual, and interesting to play. Each puzzle and layer of terraforming was fascinating, and the simple combat elements keep you busy.

Arzette: The Jewels of Faramore is an animated action-adventure game with controversial opinions and even considered a ''love letter'' to the original CD-i Zelda games. Is this game any good? I would say YES!

WitchSpring R is a thoughtful, deep and meaningful story which tells a tale of discovering oneself along with the perils of religion and bigotry. Pieberry is an engaging, thought-provoking protagonist who by journey’s end I had come to care for. Solid combat and great RPG mechanics and levelling systems helped keep me invested. It’s a shame that some areas felt too much of a slog at times and the sheer level of menus on offer can feel overwhelming. Visuals are mostly great and an absolutely stunning soundtrack and design help the game really feel unique. Charming is the word that just keeps coming to my mind when I think of this game.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely. The joy of solving puzzles together, the rich fantasy world, and the rewarding teamwork elements make Split Fiction a game that stands out in the co-op genre. Weather you’re enjoying the game with a partner who isn’t typically into gaming, or a friend that you’ve been gaming with for years, this is one of the best options out there.

The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna is a wonderfully dark walking simulator title. One of the, if not the best Bodur games available that is emotive and chilling. A beautiful world of love, friendship, and betrayal await you.

Star Wars: Dark Forces is undoubtedly a classic. A remaster was a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one. There is still room for improvement, the menus and maps could have been perfected. Overall, it is a good update to a game that is close to my heart and that recommend to all fans of the franchise and the genre.

I expected What Lies in the Multiverse to be challenging. However, what I experienced was well-thought-out and user-friendly. It has some simple mechanics that evolve thanks to the multidimensional gameplay. Its cheeky story, loveable characters and silly ways will make you smile. Subsequently, you’ll experience an interesting title that is great fun to play. I adored it.

Pine Hearts is a game best played with an open mind and a desire for a relaxing experience. It’s a beautiful reminder of the power of community, the importance of self-care, and the healing potential of nature. While the gameplay might not be for everyone, those seeking a heartwarming story and a chance to explore a world brimming with empathy will find Pine Hearts to be a balm for the soul.

Dead Season is a tough and cruel strategy title. This brutal streak will put many gamers off, but if you are willing to work hard, you will get a lot out of this strategy affair. Stick to the basics and work past the obstacles to get the most out this zombie experience.

NBA2K25 is in a class of its own in terms of sports simulation, presentation and immersion. No other game makes you truly feel you’re a superstar like this series. Great game modes, solid gameplay improvements and breath-taking visuals and animations help seal this version as a vast improvement over last year’s game. Whilst the awful microtransactions continue to infect this beloved franchise like a disease, and goofy voice acting can affect the immersion, there is still more than enough to recommend this to both veterans and newcomers to the franchise.

Overall, I enjoyed my time with Drill Core. Its approach to gameplay offers enough novelty, especially for someone like me who hasn’t been overly exposed to these genres. For better or worse, the game has some steep difficulty spikes. I found myself hitting a wall at the 8th difficulty level due to both the challenge and my growing fatigue. My experience could have been less tiring if the game had prioritized onboarding, providing more instructional guidance instead of relying so heavily on repetitive trial and error. Fortunately, I eventually found my rhythm, and most of my playthrough felt satisfying. Ultimately, Hungry Couch Games has demonstrated with Drill Core that they can create a solid game, and I will be looking out for their future projects.

Transport Fever 2 - Console Edition is a great simulation title. What's more, it is a fantastic port from PC and has a brilliant freeplay mode. Build depots and terminals for your vehicles to transport goods and people across each map. Moreover, you must manage your finances and adjust your plan as each city thrives.

The real value here comes from the possibility that you may be someone like me, someone who had never played these games before. For us, this is a great deal. If you are into strategy games and only know Advance Wars because maybe you’d seen the box in a Gamestop in 2002, then this is a pretty easy recommend.

Spider-Man Remastered is another superb PC port from the PlayStation catalogue. Its combat and traversal systems flawlessly capture the feeling of playing as Spider-Man, but it does become somewhat repetitive quicker than you’d expect. Graphically, the game looks absolutely stunning, especially when utilising the RTX options. And while the audio design is remarkably well crafted, the games soundtrack does suffer from being unmemorable. Overall though, Spider-Man Remastered is massively entertaining. If you’re a fan of the Webhead, the MCU, or the Arkham games series, then this is a title worthy of checking out.

Spirit City: Lofi Sessions has greatly surprised me with what it is. It lacks depth, but what's here is very good for what the game aims to be and could be close to, if not, perfection with some tweaking. For students like myself, it's an easy recommend.

All-in-all 30XX is an excellent example of the genre done right whilst also accounting for people’s varying skill and taste. The graphics are good, the music is superb and the game does exactly what it sets out to do, emulate Mega Man with all its might whilst still creating a fresh experience for veterans of the roguelike circuit.

Outer Terror is a cooperative or single-player horror-inspired rogue-like. Moreover, it is influenced by the 80s and 90s and the aesthetics will tweak at your nostalgia-infused heartstrings. However, it doesn't have the depth of its peers and this holds it back from truly excelling.

Grime: Colors of Rot is an exceptional hybrid title. Consequently, it takes the best out of both the Soulsborne and Metroidvania genres. As such, you'll lose your way, be killed, and rage quit many times. However, as you cut through the challenging gameplay, you'll enjoy the grim atmosphere, exquisite visuals, and bizarre and mystical storyline.

Wander Stars is a lovely little JRPG that never overstays its welcome, with a cute, charming cast and a fun but basic combat system. Broken down into parts, it’s nothing special, but as a complete package it might just be one of my favourite gaming experiences of this year. And keep in mind; I am not an anime fan and have never seen an episode of Dragonball, so if you are then this is an even bigger no brainer, especially at just £21 on Steam. Like its own protagonist, Wander Stars is short, punchy and sweet.

Graveyard Keeper: Last Journey Edition is a whimsy look at the life of a graveyard keeper. With a macabre plot and even darker characters, this will amuse you and turn your stomach at the same time. You must manage your business while appeasing the locals. What's more, a few dodgy deals regarding human meat and organs won't go amiss. An excellent addition to the franchise that shouldn't be missed.
