TEVI offers up an adorable and fascinating world. The movement feels great, exploration is rewarding and the soundtrack is fantastic. Combat is unfortunately a bit too flat and unbalanced and there are a few tone issues. Still, TEVI is a cracking Metroidvania and the world is a delight to explore.

Roguebook is a fantastic fantasy deck-building title. Its gameplay is easy to understand while still being complex enough to challenge you. Unfortunately, the rogue-lite elements are harsh but they make it oh so moreish.

Live A Live is an excellent set of stories contained within a very polished package. The remastered elements are fantastic, with the music and art a particular highlight. Sadly some elements of 90s video games have not aged well and could’ve done with an update here. Having said that, if you love a nostalgia trip and have the odd masochistic tendency then this will easily be a 10/10 for you as what it does well it knocks out of the park.

Cions of Vega is a slow and atmospheric walking simulator. With interesting puzzles, understated platforming elements, and touching narration, this proves that Bodur is back to his best. However, a lack of replay value and longevity prevents it from excelling.

Despot's Game is a cruel rogue-lite set in a dystopian world. Search the labyrinthine world as you appease a sick voyeuristic monster. Command your army, set their formation, and watch each automated encounter. It is brutal, unfair, and guaranteed to make you scream.

Speed Crew is a fun and challenging solo or multiplayer simulation title. The tight level design and array of obstacles will test your patience, friendships, and skills. If you love this genre, you'll adore everything on offer. However, the solo experience is a little unfair and this holds it back.

DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of the Nine Realms is a fantastic family-friendly title. With a generous number of levels to explore, some interesting dragons to control, and a fair learning curve, this will keep you interested while challenging you. Furthermore, there is plenty of longevity and replay value. If you love How to Train a Dragon, you'll adore this game.

Nine Noir Lives is a fantastic contemporary take on the Point and Click genre. It masterfully blends comedy with intrigue, which culminate together in a captivating and suspenseful story. The characters are equally as entertaining, and are expertly performed by a talented array of voice actors. Artistically, the hand painted backdrops are absolutely stunning, and composer Travis Ford DeCastro does an immaculate job of complementing them through his music. For fans old and new to the genre, you owe it to yourself to play this game.

At its best, this collection is a celebration of the beat ’em up’s wild, diverse past. At its worst, it’s a reminder of why some games stayed obscure. Either way, it’s an engaging journey for anyone who wants to see beyond the usual suspects.

As much as I love the series I do think the next chapter should be the last. If they really wanted to I do think they could make way more chapters and honestly I wouldn’t complain because the games are great, but we all know that milking a franchise can come with some big drawbacks, and I don’t think Mob entertainment are silly enough to jeopardize the great reputation the series has built. But hey, I’m not going to complain if they make some spinoffs or even a few movies…

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy Road 96 as much as I did. I thought it would be slower and more disconnected. Instead, I experienced a rewarding and deep title where my choices mattered.

This game is very fun with plenty of different levels and is fast-paced gameplay. It is something I can see playing any time of the day, for a short amount of time or for a large amount. Each game provides its own difficulties, challenging the mind and working on building better concentration, focusing, and quick thinking skills while playing.

Calturin is a dark and grim bullet hell title. With tough stages to complete and hard bosses to overcome, this will test your ability and patience. Alongside this, you can up the ante by tackling either a red of black portal. This idea was simple but fantastic as it increased the difficulty without muddying the water.

PowerWash Simulator: SpongeBob DLC is a ridiculous and brilliant simulation title. You'll love this colourful and addictive addition to the franchise. Grab your tools, use ladders and scaffolding to climb buildings, and clean every bit of grime. I adored it, but it was far too short!

Yes, some edges might be rough. Some mechanics feel like they’re still being sharpened. But in a genre flooded with sameness, this one is different. It doesn’t just want to be another deckbuilding roguelike… it wants to be the one you remember. I didn’t expect much, but then The King is Watching had me unable to take my eyes off.

POPUCOM is a colourful co-op experience that is great for friends and family. The puzzles are enjoyable and the learning curve is wonderfully balanced. However, the lack of split Joy-Con action and co-op-only gameplay may hold it back.

Teslagrad 2 is an excellent Metroidvania title with a physics-based twist. Moreover, there are some interesting puzzles and an interesting world to explore. However, it isn't long enough and this will disappoint some people.

The layered gameplay, split between dream dives, investigations and escape-room like puzzles, offer depth and charm, especially for returning fans. Newcomers to this series may feel lost at first, but those who embrace the uniqueness and bizarreness of this game will find a rewarding experience.

ArcRunner is a cyberpunk-infused title that is addictive and tough to put down. The vivid imagery and interesting array of weapons was fascinating. Additionally, the simple mechanics make this an easy game to master. However, its ruthless nature will make you scream repeatedly.

Enemies may be a bit unbalanced, and puzzle platforming may be a bit on the easy side. However, Imp of the Sun might just take you by surprise they way it did for me. This title is a great example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.

Baby Shark: Sing and Swim Party is the perfect fun-filled title for your youngest munchkins. This cute as-hell game is filled with Baby Shark songs and will drive parents crazy. Furthermore, the addictive gameplay will make you keep playing even though you wish the music would just stop. Its only downside is that it is repetitive.

If you’re a fan of deep, choice-driven RPGs with meaningful consequences and replayable scenarios, Back to the Dawn is an easy recommendation. Its mix of strategy, narrative, and immersive prison life makes it a standout indie title that punches far above its weight. Whether you’re planning every move with precision or adapting to chaos on the fly, this is one prison escape worth experiencing.

Bot Gaiden is a phenomenal platform experience. Furthermore, it is better with a friend. Can you leap, roll, shoot, and fight your way to victory? Enjoy the colourful settings and the smooth arcade animation. It's a wonderful title that is perhaps unbalanced towards the solo player.

Welcome To Basingstoke is a fun, little roguelike action zombie game. The campaign is short but each level offers plenty of replayability and ways to approach. Stealth is great in the game but so is the combat option. Aside from the auto-aim system which can throw you off and lead to a frustrating death, everything is near perfect. Zombies able to kill with one hit leads to a lot of intense, scary moments so the best need to use all their skills to survive. Horde mode is a welcome addition also, especially for those who want to shoot zombies and break records.

Let’s Revolution! is a fun twist on Minesweeper. With rogue-lite elements and short playtimes, this remains fresh no matter how much you play it. Moreover, the range of heroes helps to add depth to an already interesting experience. My only complaint is that it can be tough to master every hero.

Creatures of Ava is a touching and colourful adventure title. Its charming nature and fantasy story captured my attention. However, it does not excel as an adventure title. Yet, this matters not as the environments are lush and the creatures are crazy.

At its best, Rematch shines as an absolute blast of a football game. Unique design, great controls and just downright fun gameplay will keep players coming back for one more match countless times. Stunning visuals and animations also help solidify Sloclap as true masters of graphical presentation. Sadly, some bugs, audio miscues and a disappointing soundtrack will dampen the spirit slightly but thankfully not terminally. Rematch is a bold attempt at mixing up the format of sports games and I applaud Sloclap for taking a leap of faith. I just cannot wait to go back in and play another game!
