An unique experience with mountains of puzzles to solve, a great look and an intangible mystery to discover, but lacking on the storytelling side and with a sometimes unbalanced difficulty progression.- MondoXbox

Fight Night Round 4 is a real masterwork, a milestone in boxing simulations and a tough challenger for all future titles in this genre. If you like sports and boxing, there's not a single reason why you wouldn't own one of the best sports games of 2009 so far.- MondoXbox

An intriguing old-school RPG, with a great story and content for tens of hours of play. Obsidian could have polished it more in the technical side, but it's definitely an advised buy for any true RPG lover.- MondoXbox

Probably the best cross-generation game so far, resulting in a very different experience from the current-gen version and stunning graphics capable of competing even with first party games. The best sports game around.- MondoXbox

Two Point Museum further refines the management game series, eliminating flaws present in previous titles and improving gameplay with the introduction of financial management and expeditions. Considering the budget price, I recommend the purchase to all fans of management games.- MondoXbox

DmC's definitive edition confirms all the good qualities of the original game, enhancing it thanks to the increased frame-rate, Turbo Mode and new difficulty modes. We would have liked to see more original content in it, but it remains yet the best action game available on Xbox One as of today.- MondoXbox

A conservative sequel on the previous game, adding more variety on the ships and powers side but keeping all the features of the Anniversary episode, including the infamous stars collection mechanic. If you loved the previous game or are looking for a solid shoot'em up with awesome visuals, though, you'll like Sky Force Reloaded.- MondoXbox

BioWare partially failed to port to console a very classical PC RPG. The Xbox 360 version of the game is ruined by bad graphics and a flawed combat system, while some aspects like the great, multiple-branching story will delight many players. Despite its problems, Dragon Age: Origins remains the only good "old style" RPG on this platform, so if you're looking for something like this you should give it a chance.- MondoXbox

Respawn delivers us one of the best new IPs for competitive online multiplayer lovers, with one of the most dynamic and entertaining games of the past few years. It’s not a perfect result primarily due to an unsatisfying technical performance and a shoddy campaign, but it’s undoubtedly a must buy if you’re into multiplayer gaming.- MondoXbox

Tomb Raider's reboot is definitely a success delivering a deep, adrenalinic and spectacular game with a new and charismatic Lara Croft. Our main complaint is with the lack of greater scale puzzles and more challenging ones, something the game should have retained from its predecessors.- MondoXbox

The Forgotten City turned out to be an amazing adventure, with a very well conceived story and an original use of the time loop mechanic. Too bad for the lack of Italian localization, which will prevent the non-English speakers from enjoying the title.- MondoXbox

Blizzard's new game represents everything a hack'n'slash lover could desire: Diablo III's involving story, a charismatic villain like Malthael and lots of additions to the original game. If you never played Diablo III, you can't miss this.- MondoXbox

Pentiment is, for better or worse, a sort of big interactive comic book showing a huge love for European medieval history, with an intriguing plot and great artistic design but with a great deal of text to read and interactions limited mainly to map exploration and dialogues. A fascinating title, mainly thanks to its subject matter, but definitely not for everyone.- MondoXbox

Despite its radical switch to first person view, Resident Evil 7 biohazard represents a real comeback to the series' origins, with a disturbing and scary atmosphere, great story and characters and a thrilling gameplay mixing exploration, puzzle solving and combat. SIFU is a tough and unforgiving experience, but it's also capable of being highly rewarding. It highlights the authors' love for action movies such as John Wick or The Matrix, thanks also to several references found in the new Arena mode, which further extends an already excellent longevity. If you feel like putting yourself to the test and do not fear a rather high level of challenge, it's definitely recommended.- MondoXbox

The Alters is a deep, emotionally resonant experience that blends engaging gameplay with sharp writing and rich character work. Despite some rough edges and repetition, it stands out as one of this year's most compelling and successful releases. Its ability to challenge the player’s conscience outweighs its flaws, proving that emotional impact can matter more than mechanical perfection.- MondoXbox

If it wasn't for the poor online experience, Mortal Kombat would have been this gen's king of fighting games. The sheer quantity and quality of contents is staggering, greatly above genre standards, and the return to the series' proven 2D gameplay make this game a must buy for every fighting games lover.- MondoXbox

Ninja Theory succeeded in re-imagining a storied franchise making it fresher while keeping it very satisfying to be played, and the new Dante proves to be a successful character: we love his new boastful, poser British style. It could have been a bit longer and sported better graphics, but it's surely a suggested buy.- MondoXbox

We liked all the sea based activities: battles are challenging and deeper than before, underwater wrecks exploration is a nice addition and every pirate stories fan will find much to like here. Nevertheless, with Black Flag the series shows some fatigue especially in the ground sections like combat and the free-running mechanics, leaving us hoping for a strong overhaul starting with the next game.- MondoXbox
