Despite some understandable technical limitations due to the games age, their quality and the large amount of content translates into an offer not to be missed for those who previously missed the saga, while the excellent technical work makes it very attractive for die-hard fans too.

Borderlands 4 delivers everything expected from a modern AAA game, balancing fresh ideas with the franchise’s trademark style. Though the looter-shooter formula feels less groundbreaking and the narrative lacks the punch of earlier entries, the flawless gameplay and perfect gunplay makes this new episode worthwhile. Overall, it’s a stylish, confident return and a strong contender for action/shooter of the year.

Borderlands 2 is one of the best co-op games around and more broadly one of the most enjoyable ones, thanks to the sheer variety of weapons, enemies and missions, capable to entertain the player for many hours and several play-throughs. A must-play.

Deathloop is yet another confirmation of Arkane Lyon's unbridled creative talent. It captures us from the very first moments thanks to an intriguing premise and keeps us glued to the pad until the end credits with a constantly evolving gameplay, enhanced by a unique styling and a basically perfect level design. Enemy AI and the shooting system could have been better, but regardless of these limitations it's a game absolutely worth trying.

F1 2019 improves pretty much everything compared to the previous game, with a great Career mode where the new Formula 2 addition provides more variety and new challenges, an improved graphics engine and lots of modes and contents. The game to have for F1 lovers.

A co-op adventure of the highest quality, It Takes Two masterfully blends storytelling, visuals and gameplay to create something unique. Hazelight Studios' second work amuses, entertains, stimulates, excites and makes us think, without ever boring the players and avoiding any errors. If you like co-op experiences, May and Cody's story is really unmissable.

Left 4 Dead 2 is strongly suggested to everyone who prefers to play cooperatively with friends, sharing an adventure of horror and fear rather than fighting in the usual multiplayer FPS's: to complete the five different campaigns you'll have to act tactically and in strict collaboration with the other players.

Dark Souls is a game without compromises: you'll either love or hate it. The very high difficulty level could discourage the less undaunted players, but if you'll take your time to master its mechanics and "enter" into the game, you'll be rewarded with one of the most satisfying and memorable experiences in your life as a gamer.

Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition superbly covers all the bases for the perfect metroidvania game, adding a stellar artistic production to the package and delivering ten of hours of platforming pleasure. A must have for any lover of the genre.

A real surprise and one of the most interesting games of the year, with a great cyberpunk mood and an highly satisfying gameplay expecially for those willing to go the stealth/hacker way. It isn't flawless though, with problems like overcompressed cut-scenes - we'd preferred a multi-disk release to this - and the immersion-breaking bad lip-sync in the italian version dubbing, but it undoubtedly is an advised buy.

Probably one of the best music games yet: if you're The Beatles fans you'll love its great psychedelic style, and atmosphere. A real musical-documentary of the 60s, that allows us to imagine the years of a worldwide music revolution.
