Mimimi Productions successfully managed to revive Desperados' original charm, delivering us an old school tactical game but with accessible gameplay and modern production values. A game to play for every lover of real-time tactics.

A successful mix of twin-stick shooter, bullet hell and roguelike, funny and challenging, but lacking enough uniqueness to not feel like something any lover of these genres already played thousands of times.

The perfect evolution of Slightly Mad's series, delivering an extremely satisfying racing experience both for expert gamers and newbies, finally capable of competing with the top titles in the genre.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a successful remake of the first CTR, adding contents from its sequels but keeping the highly satisfying gameplay of the first game, coupled with a great graphical boost. It lacks some of the features modern kart racers introduced and 30 fps feels a bit low on modern consoles, but it's still a must buy for lovers of this genre and nostalgics of the late 90s game.

Crysis 2 manages to deliver us one of the best graphics on Xbox 360, coupled with a varied, compelling end extremely rewarding gameplay. A game that can proudly walk amongst the best FPSes in this generation: a must buy.

An impressive retro games collection, probably the best to date. Not only does it provide a great tour of the history of video games, but each game is enriched with additional challenges, rewind capabilities and lots of behind the scenes videos.

A highly authentic South Park experience, soaked in Parker and Stone's desecrating comedy and with very satisfying turn-based combat. A must-buy for any lover of the series.

Wasteland 3 is a top-notch RPG experience, with an highly compelling turn-based combat system and a well designed multi-path plot. It's not exempt of flaws, mainly in the technical area, and the lack of an Italian localization was quite disappointing, but it's a definitely recommended game.

A great porting of a beautiful game, and a great deal for its price too: if you never played it before, it's a must buy. And even if you already apreciated it seven years ago, you'll really enjoy going back to Hillys in its revamped look.

Yet another extremely valid and compelling game in FIFA series, with great variety and a very good story mode. Our primary complaint is about lack of fidelity with many players: what's the point of adding so many of them if visual, animations, and stats fidelity is only accurate in the most popular ones?

Planet Coaster: Console Edition is definitely the best theme park management game around, with a great porting from the PC version and a very solid gameplay. We would have liked a meatier Career mode, but its Sandbox mode can be very satisfying and it'll be able to entertain even newcomers to the genre.

Elden Ring Nightreign blends soulslike intensity with mechanics from other genres. A high-adrenaline yet deep game, it introduces a blast of fresh air with ideas like shrinking safe zones and build-from-scratch expeditions. While solo play needs refining and asset reuse is noticeable, strong combat and co-op potential make it a worthy entry point for newcomers and a satisfying twist for veterans.

A surprisingly deep game recalling classics like Half-Life and System Shock, with a very compelling story and complex and challenging gameplay that gives great freedom to the player. Some control problems, slightly too long loading times and far from shining graphics keep it from reaching its full potential, but we're definitely facing a new unmissable Arkane Studios gem.

With its greatly improved Campaign, many multiplayer modes and customization options, Gears 5 is the most varied, complete and deep experience ever for the franchise. The Coalition managed to improve the game adding many new ingredients, yet keeping it faithful to its origins, and with an astounding technical implementation. A game every Xbox owner should definitely play.

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story immerses us in the rich lore of League of Legends without the need to play the iconic MOBA on PC. Well-crafted characters and a very attractive audiovisual style can partially cover the shortcomings of a not particularly original JRPG-like gameplay and a story that doesn't dare to deviate too much from the existing lore. Nevertheless, this remains a good dive in Riot Games' saga, but also a good starting point, along with Wild Rift and the TV series Arcane, to introduce newcomers to this rich universe.

Battlefield 6 delivers exactly what Battlefield should be - fun, content-rich, and visually stunning. Rising from Battlefield 2042’s ashes, the new Battlefield Studios title offer the franchise’s most complete experience yet. While some may miss naval battles or larger maps, this polished, balanced, and thrilling debut marks a powerful new beginning, setting the stage for an exciting future.

Forza Motorsport is back in the best possible way, thanks to a simply fabulous technical achievement, a rewarding and tremendously exciting driving model, and plenty of new features that manage to modernize the entire racing game genre; the RPG-like development system is superb, and the system that penalizes players who race unfairly in online competitions is excellent. Yet another love letter from Turn 10 to the world of racing, and it is bound to make you completely fall in love with it.

The single player campaign is blessed by stunning visuals but falls with a dull story and a too short experience: where the game really shines is the multiplayer area, with very entertaining gameplay and modes, even if it lacks some polish that could have made it even better.

UFC Undisputed 2010 is an astounding fighting game, with an extremely deep gameplay experience, many play modes and, most importantly, many gameplay changes. The only downside could be a higher difficulty level, so confront it only if you're willing to spend some hours to master all the controls and the fighters' moves.

Mortal Kombat 1 is the perfect entry point for newcomers to the series, while at the same time winking at veterans with constant references and familiar situations. Also outstanding are the design and gameplay twists on historical characters, as well as the novelty of the Kameo successfully paving the way for new strategies and mechanics. An excellent fighting game, recommended both to fans and to those who want to approach the saga for the first time.

AC III successfully fulfills fans' expectations, satisfyingly bringing to and end the main plots open in the previous games and introducing some spectacular news over an already rich play offering. We would have liked a less rushed storytelling on Desmond's side with more action missions, while the historic setting could prove to be not as charming for European gamers; it's however a great new episode in Ubisoft's series and a sure must buy.

Halo 5: Guardians shines thanks to its great environments and level design; the story is satisfying and even surprising, but we would have liked a deeper characterization for the new Spartans, and while online co-op is great, we miss local split-screen. Where the game really flexes its muscles, though, is in the multiplayer modes: Warzone is a brilliant and addicting new addition, while Arena gets rid of many complexities of the past offering us a very straightforward, solid and rewarding competitive experience.

The perfect game for every Metallica and Thrash/Heavy Metal fan, also thanks to the subtle but important gameplay improvements introduced by Neversoft. It's a pity that the absence of support for the pre-existing DLC songs library forces us to always keep a copy of GH: World Tour at hand.

A solid old school turn-based RPG, graced by Madureira's awesome art but a little bit unbalanced towards combat rather than narration. Definitely a game to consider by lovers of the genre.
