Vaporum feels like a game from a time capsule but with modern graphics, with a nice steampunk theme and a long forgotten gameplay style. Too bad for the messy and frustrating controls and the rough storytelling: it could have been much better.- MondoXbox

Super Toy Cars 2 offers good driving model, variety and difficulty balancing, but this is offset by technical issues and physics that keep it from being completely satisfying.- MondoXbox

Fuel isn't lacking in defects, like not-so-great graphics, high difficulty spikes and some random bugs, but the game is surely enjoyable. The career mode gives us a very varied experience, and the online modes contribute to keep the longevity high: suggested to the offroad racing fans.- MondoXbox

Marvel's Avengers nails plot and characterization, giving us an absolutely lovable Kamala Khan and delivering some stunning and single-player missions. Where the game disappoints is in the many co-op missions, which feel too repetitive and uninteresting, and in a bit too many bugs. The end result is a mixed bag between a great single-player third-person action-adventure and a disappointing GaaS experience.- MondoXbox

State of Decay 2 greatly improves on the first game thanks to wider and more varied environments, great world simulation and character progression systems, better graphics and UI and finally a satisfying co-op mode. It won't satisfy lovers of strong, meaningful stories, but it's definitely one of the best and more enduring survival games around, and a game that lovers of the genre should absolutely have.- MondoXbox

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is built around an interesting gameplay concept, but it fails to add enough elements to make it interesting and deep enough. Moreover, an imprecise gameplay makes it feel more frustrating than really challenging.- MondoXbox

Kylotonn managed to perfectly nail the series' classic feeling and modes, delivering a true FlatOut experience. On the other side, though, FlatOut 4 fails to bring meaningful innovations to Bugbear's formula, resulting in a somewhat outdated game.- MondoXbox

Despite its interesting premise and good artistic design, Song of the Deep fails to deliver the metroidvania experience we hoped for, with a too heavy backtracking and enduring and boring battles. It's by no means a bad game and fans of the genre should be able to enjoy it, but this is not the Insomniac Games' Ori and the Blind Forest we hoped for.- MondoXbox

Skully introduces a very satisfying "rolling" gameplay mechanic in nice prehistoric environments, but it's when it tries to diverge from it, giving us an anthropomorphic form and adding puzzles and platforming sections, that it fails. The problematic camera doesn't help, either.- MondoXbox

Rise & Shine offers a great visual look with lots of cameos and references to the video gaming world, all coupled with a good and challenging action-platform gameplay. The good action phases get hampered by more repetitive and long puzzle moments or by some frustrating trial and error sequences, though. But when it manages to really shine, it can be a great action game.- MondoXbox

An undoubtedly satisfying game, even if it is not free of flaws and, at times, can be too arcade-y. Many different and compelling disciplines are accompanied by some AI and control issues that somewhat undermine the playability of some of them. Nonetheless, SEGA's new Olympic game can provide many hours of healthy fun, especially if played with friends.- MondoXbox

NBA Playgrounds tries to bring back the classic NBA Jam charm, but fails in doing so due to a boring single player and a very unstable online multiplayer. It's still good fun when playing in local multiplayer, but that's not enough, not at this price.- MondoXbox

An evocative work, telling us an old Iñupiaq tale through a dynamic and touching story and an all-beautiful adventure rich of symbolism and significance, with two outstandingly characterized main characters. It will win your love.- MondoXbox

Bleeding Edge is an original multiplayer brawler, with great charisma and a good team-based tactical gameplay. It lacks in content and shows several technical problems, but if Ninja Theory will keep on improving it constantly adding new content, it could become a new important competitor in the multiplayer arena.- MondoXbox

Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter introduces new and interesting elements capable of making Sherlock Holmes a more human and charismatic character with some welcome additions in gameplay too, like the new first person mode. It's still got some of the series known defects though, like low-detailed characters and bad animations, while load times can often be exhausting.- MondoXbox

AO International Tennis brings some good ideas and gameplay mechanics to the table, but it's too much focused on shots timing to the detriment of other elements like player movement and placement. And its poor graphics and lack of licensed players are simply inexcusable. We'd love to see Big Ant Studios building on it for a better game next year, though.- MondoXbox

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is arguably the richest Call of Duty ever in terms of content, delivering an incredibly fun and robust multiplayer experience from day one. However, it falls short of excellence due to a mediocre, disjointed campaign and some noticeable technical compromises stemming from its cross-gen development. A great package, but held back by its flaws.- MondoXbox

Saints Row is not the reboot the series needed, significantly limiting the levels of insanity and comedy that are the hallmark of the series, while maintaining a gameplay that is now dated and in need of a serious makeover. This made it a decent but soulless title, definitely forgettable in today's landscape. If you're looking for a not-too-demanding open world it can still wring a few laughs out of you, but at the moment Saints Row smacks too much of a wasted opportunity. The series has great potential, but it needs a real leap forward if it is to have a future.- MondoXbox
