Supermassive Games delivers a compelling and intriguing horror-thriller adventure, with a great atmosphere and plenty of story branches based on player choices. We would have loved more tools to enable branches exploration, like a choices map or the ability to skip already seen cut-scenes, but it's definitely a great start for this new anthology games series.

Great fun for partying with friends or even for working out alone, Just Dance 2014 delivers a fresh and immediate experience. It only lacks a tutorial mode to better learn every single move: it would have been perfect with it.

F1 22 doesn't revolutionize the series, but it proves once again to be a worthy driving sim, capable of entertaining both the F1 enthusiasts and the more casual players. It manages to faithfully recreate the F1 world both in and out the circuits, with a wide offering of modes and options.

The baseball lovers shouldn't think twice about buying this game: it gets everything people like about this sport and makes it even more spectacular. Too bad for the online multiplayer, made of too few play modes and plagued by serious technical problems.

Seven years later, Castle Crashers still is one of the best side-scrolling beat'em'ups around, thanks to a great co-op implementation too.

A good adventure, with nice story ideas and lots of fan service for the lovers of Capcom's saga. Its episodic structure gets in the way of a more fluid gameplay rhytm and its graphics disappoint on Xbox One, but it's surely a suggested buy for Resident Evil fans.

Scarlet Nexus doesn't bring revolutions, but it manages to enhance its strengths with dynamic and fun gameplay, a cast of well-defined characters and a deep and mature story, all spiced up with a unique artistic style. A title definitely worth trying for all fans of Action-JRPGs.

As Dusk Falls is an adult, dramatic adventure with unusual artistic choices, yet functional to an ever engaging narrative. Almost similar to an interactive TV series, it will keep you glued to the screen until the end, eager to discover the fate of the many realistically and often starkly delineated characters, but also to explore the many ramifications of the story. The excellent acting, moreover, succeeds in making the most of such a production. Too bad for a few technical issues lightly impacting the enjoyment of the game, but it is definitely a highly recommended experience for lovers of narrative adventures and TV crime dramas.

DmC's definitive edition confirms all the good qualities of the original game, enhancing it thanks to the increased frame-rate, Turbo Mode and new difficulty modes. We would have liked to see more original content in it, but it remains yet the best action game available on Xbox One as of today.

The Outer Worlds 2 improves upon its predecessor in mission design, combat, and meaningful player choice, offering a solid sci-fi RPG experience. However, it unfortunately falters in its narrative, with a lackluster story and unconvincing companions that fail to engage, leaving a technically proficient but less inspired adventure.

Madden NFL 10 goes on with the slow but steady progress of the EA franchise: despite this edition isn't full of big news, the game remains must buy for every Football lover, and thanks to the extensive tutorials it could attract people who are interested but not familiar with this sport.

We liked all the sea based activities: battles are challenging and deeper than before, underwater wrecks exploration is a nice addition and every pirate stories fan will find much to like here. Nevertheless, with Black Flag the series shows some fatigue especially in the ground sections like combat and the free-running mechanics, leaving us hoping for a strong overhaul starting with the next game.

From Software brings back its game making the game even better without distorting it. The result is an even harder game, surely suggested while we're waiting for the inevitable sequel.

NBA 2K26 revitalizes the franchise after a small dip in NBA 2K25, led by the strongest MyCareer mode in years, thanks to a gripping prologue and refined gameplay with updates like the new shot meter and smoother movement, even if MyGM still lags. With only minor flaws, it feels nearly complete, true to the slogan “Ball Over Everything.”

Pac-Man 256 manages to yet again renovate its decades-old gameplay with a new and addicting mechanic good both for short and long sessions, and at a great price. Definitely recommended.

Lies of P is an excellent souls-like game, not particularly original and that could be improved in some aspects, but nonetheless capable of keeping the player glued to the screen thanks to a top-quality combat system, a well-structured progress system and an engaging story full of references to Collodi's novel that serves as a fascinating steampunk world backdrop. A game that all lovers of the genre should try, maybe taking advantage of its presence in the Xbox Game Pass.

Gears Tactics offers a fine blend of strategy and action, capable of captivating a wide range of players with a satisfying plot perfectly integrated into Gears of War's lore. A game that all lovers of strategy games and the Gears universe should play, and that we'd love to see followed by other titles in the series.

A solid sequel for Rare's motion controlled franchise: engaging and fun, it's capable of delivering an high challenge level and player involvement, also thanks to its social interaction features. We're however a bit disappointed by the absence of more party-oriented features, something in which Season 2 definitely shone more.

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is a solid release with a well-crafted story, cinematic cutscenes, and engaging stealth-puzzle gameplay. While replay value is limited and the lack of specific localization options may deter some players, its affordable price and distinctive design make it an appealing choice for fans of the genre. Not for everyone, but those who connect with it will find a rewarding experience.

A good improvement on the previous games, mainly thanks to one of the best Franchise modes ever and a solid gameplay. We were pleased to see refereeing was substantially improved, too.

A very solid title, capable of successfully merging the depth and complexity of TES-like RPGs with a more spectacular and satisfying combat system. Nonetheless, it fails to really shine due to a somewhat generic and bland main story, even if the world and its background story are very well crafted.

A charming survival game, never frustrating or boring and very friendly with newcomers to the genre too.

Star Wars Outlaws is the experience every Star Wars fan should have, a love letter to the saga, excelling in offering a rich and varied adventure, woven perfectly within a larger story away from the great conflicts between Sith and Jedi, Empire and Rebellion. It isn't a perfect work, with bugs and glitches that compromise even the AI of enemies, but never before has this Galaxy come to life in such a rich guise.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 offers us a good advancement over the previous chapter, with a surprising storyline made both of original content and well known saga elements. It still needs to improve its camera management, but it's definitely a worthy buy for any Dragon Ball fan.
