EA takes a cautious step toward evolving the FC series, delivering a high-quality football game with solid mechanics, deep customization, and strong content. However, persistent legacy issues, limited innovation, and questionable choices - like the season pass and offline-only new mode - hold it back. Still, it’s immensely fun and engaging for fans of EA’s football.

Fe offers us a fantastic world to discover, with great visual and audio design and a very accessible gameplay. It stumbles on the storytelling department though, with a too fragmented and inconclusive story.

Two Point Museum further refines the management game series, eliminating flaws present in previous titles and improving gameplay with the introduction of financial management and expeditions. Considering the budget price, I recommend the purchase to all fans of management games.

In a dystopian future where human dramas mix to the search for a better life, State of Mind tells us the touching and surprises-filled tale of two fathers in search for the truth about their families. Great storytelling and brilliant low-poly environments are the foundation for a satisfying adventure game whose only downsides are its too inexpressive and stiff, but very well characterized, characters. Definitely suggested for lovers of adventure games and dramatic sci-fi/cyberpunk tales.

Broken Age allows us to relive the golden age of point-and-click graphical adventures, delivering a pleasing art style and a good writing, even if not exempt of more boring moments. All in all, a good old-school adventure capable of pleasing even the more demanding players.

Mafia: The Old Country is a pleasantly surprising release that offers around sixteen hours of solid entertainment. A well-paced story and detailed setting help it stand out, despite major drawbacks like repetitive knife-based fights and poor enemy AI. While not a top-tier title, its budget price and overall coherence make it a worthwhile option in today’s gaming landscape.

A great experience for every lover of this genre: exciting and longeve modes, stunning graphics and a good online multiplayer make it a sure bet for every lover of off-road arcade racers.

Medal of Honor is a good alternative to the Call of Duty series even if it doesn't add anything new to the mix. Due to its very short single player campaign, buy it only if you're planning to spend many hours online.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen order does justice to the Star Wars universe with an enjoyable mix of features and an intriguing story. It doesn't end up being particularly original and it might have been more polished, but it still emerges as one of the best games of 2019 and definitely one of the best Star Wars games of this generation.

NHL 26 marks a significant improvement over its predecessor, delivering a deeper and more realistic simulation. Thanks to the new ICE-Q 2.0 engine and the integration of real NHL data, gameplay feels more authentic. While minor technical issues persist, the revamped Be a Pro and richer online modes make it a must-have for hockey fans.

NHL 14 continues to improve since the series birth 20 years ago, allowing us to dress the part of real ice gladiators.

Layers of Fear manages to deliver lots of tension and some good scares thanks to an original and carefully crafted storytelling, a fascinating and paradoxes-filled atmosphere and a nice end of 19th century stylistic look. Bloober Team definitely strikes the right note in offering a memorable, deep, exciting and scary horror game.

Even if visually not up to date, ZOMBI manages to deliver a well thought-out survival experience with great gameplay rhythm and mechanics.

Ridge Racer Unbounbed departs from the series' classical style, offering us a grittier, urban and destructive world, with very satisfying gameplay and good variety even without introducing great innovations to the genre. If you love arcade racing games and maybe you look back with nostalgia at series like PGR, you won't be disappointed. A good new starting point that deserves to be expanded further.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake reintroduces us to a game that left its mark on history, giving us a unique and memorable experience. Those who never played it can enrich their gaming experience with a true little gem, while the new features, as well as the opportunity to return to the debut work of one of the industry's most interesting game designers, are enough to deserve the interest of those who already know the game.

A real multi-sensorial video gaming experience, something different from everything else and with a very definite artistic soul. It isn't however a game for everyone: just five levels feel too little for a retail game and only the ones willing to repeat them over and over harvesting for points will make the game more durable. Notwithstanding, it remains a gem of rare beauty that would be a pity missing.

Every motocross fan will find an excellent experience in MXGP, with highly satisfying physics simulation, bike handling and tuning. It would have benefited of more care in the off-track environments design and better engine sounds, but it’s still a must buy for the genre’s lovers.

Another great game in the LEGO series, capable of entertaining both kids and grown-ups and sporting enhanced graphics. We're just a little disappointed in its small longevity, about 7 hours to complete, and the developers stubbornness in not providing an online co-op option.
