Directive 8020 is one of Supermassive Games' weakest projects. While the sci-fi premise is fascinating and the audiovisual presentation is solid, the experience collapses under the weight of weak writing, a lack of true horror tension, and poorly implemented stealth mechanics. Despite a surprising plot twist, it fails to capitalize on its potential, resulting in a fragile narrative adventure.- MondoXbox

MotoGP 26 offers its usual and appreciated driving model, now embellished with numerous details and realistic riders. The driving modes can satisfy both demanding players seeking a ruthless simulation and those who just want to have fun. However, it lacks in content: the renewed Career convinces when using a custom rider, but it disappoints with real ones due to unnecessary limitations. And the removal of historical features adds to a worrying list of cuts over the years, undermining its overall value for long-time fans.- MondoXbox

Invincible VS brings Robert Kirkman's world into a video game and brings attention back to the 3vs3 fighting game genre. Battles are frantic, extremely violent, and make good use of tag mechanics with accessible controls. Unfortunately, balancing issues and a severe lack of single-player content with a disappointingly short Story mode, hold the game back. It is a recommended purchase only for hardcore fans of the series or genre.- MondoXbox

DON'T NOD delivers a linear, narrative-driven space adventure focused on the connection between its two protagonists. Towerborne impresses with its stunning art direction and simple, lighthearted, and intuitive gameplay, but it leaves the impression that, in the transition to its final form, it lost something along the way, resulting in a game that’s less engaging and captivating than it was during its early access period. The result is a title that’s visually stunning and enjoyable to play, but less immersive than it could have been.- MondoXbox

Screamer is a game of contrasts: on one hand, it offers a very deep and crafted story mode, supported by great art direction and a good technical execution. On the other hand, the gameplay feels too basic and unrewarding, with the novelty represented by the dual stick steering system quickly wearing out, and limited power-ups that fail to deliver the chaotic fun that we'd expect from an arcade racer.- MondoXbox

My Hero Academia: All's Justice brings Bandai and Byking’s fighting saga to a close with mixed results. Hotel Barcelona stands out for its unique style, gradually revealing strong gameplay after a shaky start. Flawed design, balance choices, and technical issues limit its impact, and like the B-movies it emulates, it entertains without cutting deep. Edens Zero is another low-budget anime tie-in with hidden potential. Despite dated visuals and a confusing, shallow narrative, it offers surprising customization and some solid mechanics - though underused and ultimately repetitive. Aimed mainly at existing fans, it falls short as an entry point for newcomers. With more polish, a sequel could shine, but for now it’s best suited to the series' enthusiasts.- MondoXbox

Deliver At All Costs is a fun, chaotic break from heavier blockbusters, a perfect pick when you're after destructive entertainment. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage tells a coming-of-age tale that takes too long to get off the ground, spending far too much time on slow dialogue and not too engaging scenes. The nostalgic element and the general story are appealing, but we feel the lack of a greater element of interactivity or a different rhythm in the narrative. I suggest waiting for the release of the second part of the story, so as to better evaluate a possible purchase and enjoy the whole story without interruptions.- MondoXbox

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is the worthy conclusion, narrative-wise, of the SAO Gamerverse, with continuous twists and turns and the presence of many memorable characters. The Crew Motorfest manages to entertain with an incredible range of vehicles, beautiful scenery and a large number of races, but the sense of déjà vu compared to Forza Horizon 5 is constant and it should have dared more to escape from the shadow of Playground Games' title. Skater XL introduces an innovative and very satisfying control system, but that's all: it feels more like an early access game, still lacking any meaningful content like a story mode or challenges/missions. It's also in need of a visual overhaul, as the skate parks feel too empty and lifeless, skaters lack any expressivity and the overall graphical fidelity is quite low.- MondoXbox

Destroy All Humans! brings the original Pandemic Studios game to Xbox One, with a surprising graphical remake but keeping the original design and gameplay with too little improvements. The game is still pretty much enjoyable, but it brings with it some old flaws we would have liked to see reworked.- MondoXbox

Tannenberg provides a realistic historical reproduction of one of the big battles of WW1, but the gameplay is still largely perfectible and battles feel too flat, with few tactical options ad too many campers which, historical accuracy or not, isn't pleasant in a multiplayer shooter.- MondoXbox

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris tries to experiment with too many different mechanics without making them too compelling, and that's hampered by a lackluster technical production. It's anyway got a good basis, and SAO fans will definitely appreciate its depiction of the anime's universe and the huge levels of fan service present.- MondoXbox

Skelattack nails its retro flavor with a very pleasing art style, but it fails in providing a compelling and satisfying platforming experience due to imprecise controls, a basic level design and too little content.- MondoXbox

Assetto Corsa Competizione is the simulation every car lover wanted on console, but everything good it does gets ultimately overshadowed by a too unstable frame-rate, a mortal sin for a racing game. Wheel management bugs aren't helpful, too.- MondoXbox

Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is a nice love letter to Paper Mario, with its classical cartoonish look and old-school turn-based gameplay, but even with some meaningful differences, it ends up looking too much as an imitation rather than a creative tribute.- MondoXbox

Disintegration creates an original mix of FPS and real-time strategy action, but it ends up over-simplifying both aspects delivering an unsatisfying experience. The underdeveloped Campaign story and the problematic multiplayer don't help, too.- MondoXbox

Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe+ delivers a pleasant 3D platform adventure, with a satisfying gameplay and varied environments. It just lacks in the visuals side with too simplistic and flat graphics, but it will surely be a satisfying experience also for kids and newcomers to the genre.- MondoXbox

The Persistence offers us an interesting roguelite FPS concept, but it fails in adapting the VR mechanics to the classic "flat screen" gameplay: it ends up in a too slow experience, with uninteresting combat and repetitive environments.- MondoXbox

Daymare: 1998 is an ambitious survival horror game, balanced between old school mechanics and innovation and with an original plot rich of references to the 80s. Its good story and inventory management system clashes with a shaky technical production and some uneven difficulty spikes especially with puzzles, but it's overall a likeable game that every fan of the classic survival horror series should give a chance.- MondoXbox

Moons of Madness delivers a boring experience made of long and exaggeratedly slow walks, simple puzzles and bad design choices. That's a real pity, as the base idea of a sci-fi lovecraftian horror is good and it's got very good visuals, too.- MondoXbox

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows looks like a lazy attempt to create a One Punch Man fighting game, with a repetitive filler-riddled structure and a problematic technical production. It's got its fair share of fanservice content and the Saitama management mechanic is interesting, but it feels too much as every other Bandai Namco anime fighting game.- MondoXbox
