    Developer Milestone lives up to its name by reaching one with MotoGP 23, providing the most accessible entry in the series to date, with fancy Neural Aids helping to ease in new players. MotoGP 23 also happens to be a polished, authentic motorcycle racing game that will also please even the most hardcore of motorcycle nuts.

    If for wines there are memorable vintages and others less so, the same can also be said for the annual sports simulations. MotoGP 23 proves to be a perfect game for those approaching the world championship for the first time or for those who have skipped a couple of editions of the Milestone series. The neural aids and AI in general work, the new career has more bite and depth than previous incarnations and the dynamic weather conditions (including Flag to Flag) give a new dimension to the racing. Those who have played the 2022 edition, however, will find very few differences in the driving model (however improved) or on the graphics front. With the launch of RIDE 5 in a few months and a possible new chapter dedicated to SBK, Milestone has played it safe with a conservative approach, a bit too much for our tastes.

    In MotoGP 23 we find again the series' solid driving model, now further improved especially in the braking area. This, however, fails to compensate for major content and technical issues, making it difficult to recommend buying the game for now.

    The Italian studio Milestone, creators of motorbike games for many years, finally presents the new MotoGP 23. Unfortunately, the joy of discovering the new features crashed as quickly as a motorbike on gravel roads after just a few minutes. The neural aid undoubtedly helps new players understand the bikes’ mechanics. The scripted challenges and the addition of relationships in the paddock tend to go in the right direction, but almost everything is a copy of MotoGP 22– released a year ago. The visual integrations in no way justify the purchase of this title. A game that will surely linger in the pits until next season.
