  • Summary: Order of Battle: World War II is a turn-based strategy game with an impressive variety of units, scenarios and theatres of war. The base game gives you access to the boot camp and Blitzkrieg campaigns, as well as a taste of the first chapter of every other campaign pack.

    An intriguing and compelling historic tactical sim, with a deep scenario reproduction and lots of units to use. The base contents can offer hours of enjoyment, but be prepared to pay a lot to play all the scenarios, sold as DLCs.

    Order of Battle: World War II is a rich, detailed and authentic experience suitable for historic strategy fans, with enough DLC to keep them busy for weeks. There’s nothing here to tempt newcomers to the genre however - this is a game solely aimed at its target audience.
