Mar 31, 2021I Saw Black Clouds was just enough supernatural to keep it interesting, if you took that branch of the story, and enough character development for each person I met to see that everyone had a role to play in the outcomes. If you are the type or person who likes drama and suspense type of movies/TV, or campy psychological thrillers, you’ll likely find something here to entertain you.

Mar 30, 2021I love the vast majority of what Wales Interactive do and that is the case with I Saw Black Clouds on Xbox. It's a game that works as a solo adventure, but equally good with someone to throw ideas off, dictating the decisions you make.

Mar 30, 2021I Saw Black Clouds unfortunately misses the mark more often than not. While the general concept of the story is interesting, messy presentation and confusing, vague stats make it harder to enjoy than it should be. If you’re looking for an enjoyable live action adventure, I’d still recommend checking out The Complex before this.

Mar 30, 2021I Saw Black Clouds feels like a step backward in Wales Interactive's interactive movie efforts. Abrupt scene cuts without any transitions, localization issues, and not-so-good movie direction and photography don't make it live up to the good standards set by The Complex.

Jun 8, 2021To summarise, we were used to something better as regards the interactive movies made by Wales Interactive. Even though the supernatural-ish plot remains rather pleasant, the sloppy ending and the basic other narratives not standing out from the crowd are rather disappointing. The two hours spent playing it were still nice, but one’s immersion ends up being interrupted by truly amateur cutscenes that are not up to the task in keeping the player spellbound during the whole game. This aspect can be truly off-putting if one wishes to start again in order to find out the alternative endings.
