Sega did a great job designing characters that appear yanked from hieroglyphics and Greek statues, then set them against old pieces of parchment paper. Then, to top it off, the developers added music that helps drive home the time period. No matter which device you play it on, Alexandria Bloodshow is one fine-looking title.- Modojo

It's not often we get to play a game like Kumo Lumo. It's highly original, rewarding and playful. Even the occasional rough edge (such as the repetitive character voicing) can't take the shine off what is an extraordinarily fresh direction for mobile gaming. Three things make Off The Leash so enjoyable. The first involves running as far as possible to beat your overall distance traveled. The second, collecting coins, lets you spend this loot at the in-game shop. Finally, the game is full of secondary objectives to complete, from picking up 20 dogs to reaching 500 meters.- Modojo

Bloons TD Battles likely isn't what purist fans of the series would have asked for, but at this stage in the franchise's life it's probably time for something other than more of the same - however enjoyable the existing single-player games have been up until now. It's the classic gameplay remodeled for a different sort of audience, then, and even IAP quibbles can't take too much of the shine off the predictably outstanding gameplay to be found here.- Modojo

There's nothing revolutionary about the core gameplay of Men's Room Mayhem, and it's all very reminiscent of games like Airport Mania and Flight Control. EA and Criterion were wise to include the well-received Autolog from games past, giving players the opportunity to keep track of other people's scores and challenge them outright to ascend the leaderboard. Tap Tap Revenge Tour does a great job of living up to the legacy of one of the most popular music gaming series on the App Store. Bombcats isn't just another physics puzzler, then, but there's no getting away from the fact that it is just one more addition to a very large pile of like-minded games. With that said, and taken on its own merits, this is a perfectly polished title that offers up some much-needed variety for fans of the genre. It's not a revolution, and it's certainly not the game long-term fans of the studio would have been hoping for, but Bomb Cats certainly knows how to scratch any time-killing itch you have.- Modojo

There's little about Virtua Tennis 4 that'll surprise longtime fans, making this entry feel like more of the same. Yes, it comes with Vita exclusive bonuses, but you'll quickly grow tired of them and fall back on intense volleys and furious cross court smashes. Ultimately, the price is RayStorm's biggest issue. We can debate the game's overall quality, we think it's quite good, but at the end of the day, it's a tough shooter to recommend with such a high barrier to entry. A satisfying interstellar trek, but one that comes with sticker shock.- Modojo

There's an awful lot to like about Vampire Season: it's a beautifully drawn game, there's great variety in the cast of characters, and this is a game that knows better than to take itself too seriously. We did occasionally get annoyed with the rather out-of-control camera which can zoom into the action when you really don't want it too, but apart from that this is a very refreshing take on an increasingly stale genre.- Modojo

If your definition of a good game demands that it offer huge depth and longevity beyond mere high-score replayability, then you may feel disappointed with Wonderputt. The inclusion of both a fighting game and a brawler is the best of both worlds, as players can switch off between the two and have hours of fun knocking people out. The Wi-Fi option is superb, allowing a friend to jump in the fun at anytime (provided they own a PSP and a copy of the game).- Modojo
