  1. This game has it all; the gameplay is solid and far more balanced than those of previous games, the many characters both return and make memorable debuts, and wide variety of new weapons, features and gaming modes will keep you coming back to quench your thirst for mass destruction. Accordingly, this game blows the competition out of the water.

The pinnacle not only of its series, but also of the current North American DS library. If you have even a passing interest in the strategy, genre it will suck you in. If you have never played a strategy game, this is a great series to jump into.
  3. It's arguably the first must-have game for the Nintendo DS, and it's a perfect excuse to get the system if you haven't already.
  4. The game has great gameplay, good graphics, nice controls using the DSs touch-screen, it has great new units, and it's just plain fun.
  5. It's the epitome of turn based strategy games. I've loved AW since it appeared out of left field on the GBA and Duel Strike knocks it out of the park on the DS.
  6. One of the best strategy game franchises gets even better with the addition of new DS-specific features and tweaks.

Those anticipating another dose of what is possibly one of the most fantastically additive games of the past few years will be more than pleased by this installment.

What I dislike in this game is that they actually put a timer on how long you played the whole time so I feel bad knowing Ive played for 100's of hours, and those damn medals - I hate games that have things you can collect and will force hundreds more hours into my game. One of the most addicting games ever. I've been playing it straight for 2 years. A must buy for the DS.

It has clear roots in Japanese gameplay and has a focus on some story telling. The story is not interesting enough to engage me into it, and it is clearly a sequel within an existing franchise. Its not really my type of game, but I could see why others may like it. The graphics are more reminiscent of the GBA than the DS, but it has a very distinct and charming art style. The game does utilize both screens well. There are tons of game modes and things to do. So for fans of the series, I'm sure there is much to enjoy. Unfortunately I couldn't get the Multiplayer to work on the DS, but from the wealth of content and idea behind the game, I can imagine it is a blast and I look forward to revisiting the game in greater detail.
