  1. Believe it or not, if you have both a Wii and a DS and you're not really bothered about multiplayer action, we'd recommend you pick up the DS version of this instead of the Wii one. [Nov 2009, p.70]

The new olympic entry of our favourite heroes has resulted in one of the best sport titles to date in Nintendo DS.

While the action in the DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games is far smaller in scope than the Wii version, the addition of the Adventure mode and wireless multiplayer helps to up the ante.

Mario and Sonic's second portable outing together is a good time. [Nov 2009, p.88]

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games still has a bit of a “farmed out” feel to it.
  6. 73
For people who haven't played an Olympic Mario & Sonic, this might bring several hours of entertainment, even though some disciplines get boring too quickly. However, if you've played the previous version, a "been there, done that" feeling will soon pass over you.
  7. A collection of party and mini games that works when you have friends over but isn’t a lot of fun on your own.

Lots of unique disciplines, AWESOME ost composed for the major part by Tomoya Ohtani (If you wonder who he is, he composed Endless Possibilities from Sonic Unleashed and many other awesome soundtracks), and Adventure Mode: WOW. Even if some events are a little bit annoying to play, that doesn't ruin the experience at all. The story is great, and there is such a cure for details that this title aged much better than i expected. If you haven't played this yet and you're looking for a good old NDS game, this is a great option of choice. 97/100 =) Expand

This is one of the best DS games. The adventure tours mode adds a lot of fun to the mix, a lot of the time you'll find yourself exploring and trying to find Whitestones, trivia, 1ups, etc. All the games have good control and the music fits the theme. The game has a high level of polish! The game is very good. Think Mario Golf for Game Boy Advance! It's a lot more akin to that game than anything else. Expand
