OK, so War Pinball looks and sounds outstanding, but how does it play? Perfect. In-game missions, smooth play and tight controls put it in a whole other league. The fact that it runs without a hitch with the ball zipping all over the place is impressive, no question.- Modojo

Kudos to the developers for merging different puzzle types into one new and exciting concept. Puzzlejuice lacks flash and playing on the iPhone is a challenge (small letters), but it more than makes up for that with engaging play. Despite a handful of technical hiccups, Anomaly 2 is everything fans of the previous games in the series would have asked for, and is a very easy sale for existing Anomaly nuts. Those who are put off by the typically static, reactive gameplay of the tower-defense genre, could do a lot worse than Anomaly 2 if they wish to discover what this gaming scene is really capable of.- Modojo

Still, there's no getting away from the fact that Where's My Mickey? represents everything that players of the previous games have come to expect - bags of levels, lots of challenge, and enough replay value to ensure that you won't even smart at the cost of the additional level packs. Fans of Jungle Run can certainly look forward to another generous dollop of creatively crafted levels in Fiesta Run, and we're left largely impressed by this bright and breezy sequel. Monument Valley is enjoyable in the same way the Mona Lisa is enjoyable, once you see it once the magic is over. Adding to this feeling is the complete lack of challenge and the short playtime of around an hour. There is no replay value what-so-ever, once the game is over it is over.- Modojo

The deceptive simpleness of gameplay lends itself to complex and difficult tracks that make a player feel accomplished. Unlike a majority of iOS games, stabbing your finger at the screen won't win this one. It will take practice and skill and that's a good thing.- Modojo

One could make the argument that Minigore 2: Zombies has little complexity and not enough weapons, but considering the $1.99 asking price, we think it's full of head-chopping, limb-blasting goodness. The blending of mechanics, particularly in later levels, may cater a little more towards the hardened Cut The Rope veteran, but there's much to be enjoyed by everyone in this new adventure. Bottom line, Robot Unicorn Attack 2 is a wonderful follow-up and a textbook example of how sequels should be done. The load times could be shorter and we would have preferred paying $0.99-$1.99 to download it with a variety of songs, but as is, you can't allow those minor complaints to tarnish an otherwise stellar smartphone and tablet game.- Modojo
