It's more than just a musical game. It's pure rhythm. Nintendo has done it again with an completely original game, and outstanding one that will hit the streets in no time. As soon as it does, it will surely become another instant hit on the market. You just can't stop playing with all the different rhythms of this bizarre but lovely game. A must-have with no doubt.

A extremely beautiful game that deserves to be calmly enjoyed and savored. It won't convince anyone who puts gameplay or narrative over anything else, but a satisfying journey for those who enjoy this kind of interactive experience.

When everything works, it can be a really fun experience. But the character lost bug is inexcusable in a permanent online experience and the stability problems show this was not ready for prime time.

The unique combination of narrative and gameplay with internet browsing makes Hypnospace Outlaw a very interesting experience, and the impressively detailed (although slightly exaggerated) reproduction of the end 90's internet makes it a recommendable (albeit short and not too replayable) investigation title.

Pokémon Legends Arceus is a must for fans of the franchise, a success in its reinterpretation of the gameplay formula, which introduces action in the capture and mobility without giving up the turns in combat. The loop is addictive and fun: it works wonders. Game Freak has nailed in practically everything mechanically, with huge, well-designed, hostile, vertical, open environments full of secrets to be solved. We have a long journey ahead of us. Its technical section, however, subtracts in the result despite its artistic preciosity. Fortunately, the series has found the way, one that can coexist with the classic and that should be fed back from now on. This title is a celebration after an era of ups and downs. Pokémon is more alive than ever: this work marks a new and exciting beginning on which to build, polish and improve. We are to be congratulated. Turning point.

Kirby: Mass Attack has very good and innovative ideas. With a full touch control and a lot of levels, the gameplay is very satisfying although many parts fail because they are slow. Colour, fun and extra mini-games in the last great work of the pink character for Nintendo DS.

Alan Wake is finally here, and it's as good as we expected. Rich environments, great story, superb gameplay, many areas to explore, interesting characters... A great game that is not the ambitious project Remedy wanted it to be, but it's glorious anyway.

Dragon Quest Wars is yet another great game ser on purpose for the DSiWare service. It's basically an strategic RPG based on the popular figures of the franchise, with cute graphics and a very interesting gameplay style. A very interesting offer if you like the genre.

L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition retains the essence of the game by raising its technical level, but it has some obvious differences controlling the character or handling a vehicle. However, the game is much more immersive on its version for PC and this greatly benefits a title with a remarkable story. L.A. Noire is a must for any player... if he did not play it on Xbox630 or PS3.

Mortal Kombat 1 is a true love letter to the 3D era of the saga. This is the Mortal Kombat 9 of this generation, and it must be valued as such. Although it is not sold as a celebration of legacy, it works very well as such and as a standalone saga title. It is a fairly complete video game whose main defects are not the game itself, but commercial decisions such as removing some fighters that are already included in the game to sell them separately. However, given the amount of content available and its quality, the fact that it will be updated over time and its overwhelming graphics make these outrages not hurt as much.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is the best version of this classic JRPG by Square Enix. It looks truly amazing and has a better pace than the 3DS remake, included its new changes within the adventure.

The Plucky Squire is possibly the most beautiful game of the year. It is also an interactive children's book. Its fantasy story with knights, wizards and sorcerers, and its low difficulty, makes it perfect to enjoy in the company of children. While everyone can copy Mario and Zelda, few can copy the magic. That's why The Plucky Squire shines, because while we play we smile, it makes us happy. And there is nothing that can compare with that.

Neva is gorgeous work of art transferred to videogame format, a simple but emotionally effective action-platforming adventure starring the swordswoman Alba alongside the she-wolf Neva. An ode to motherhood that leaves us with some of the best moments of the year in digital art.

Dark Hero Days offers exactly what we could expect form a production with Nippon Ichi's seal - plenty of fun, unlimited hours in front of the PSP and an outstanding storyline that makes us laugh and smile from time to time. With a few new additions, Disgaea 2's back at its best.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is a great surprise for XBLA. Good plattforms, RPG elements and full of content -treasures, sidequests. This Humble Hearts game has great gameplay and pretty visuals, but a too simple and boring combat system.

Splasher truly shines when it comes to its core gameplay as well as the surprising variety of situations that you will encounter. While not the most ambitious game this year on the technical front, it delivers where it matters for a platformer. Splatoon and Super Meat Boy were good friends after all.

For a small price, those who have not yet experienced Colonization can enjoy it now for what it is: a real classic in the 4X genre; the experience is more or less the same and the mechanics are as clever now as they were in the original one. For those who experienced it, it's a nice update with a well put interface, a good way to keep playing it without the mandatory use of DosBox.

Counter-Strike: it´s a classic and its formula has never grown tired. Global Offensive is a really good interpretation of that formula, more refined and better executed than CS: Source in its first days, so it's in an excellent position to reinvigorate the community around this seminal title.

Like Emerald or Crystal, Pokémon Platinum is more an expansion for Diamond and Pearl than a whole new game. Because of that, the graphics one of the best Nintendo DS RPG are still totally outdated and the gameplay is extremely similar to the first versions of Pokémon. The history mode hasn't changed significantly, although the Distortion World appears as a very different dungeon. The online experience is even richer with the inclusion of Wi-Fi Plaza and the Vs. Recorder system. It's not recommended for the people who bought any of the previous Nintendo DS Pokémon, but if you are not one of them, then this must be your choice.

Wario Ware Do It Yourself is what people have been expecting for a long time. The level editor is so simple that it amazes how different the microgames you can generate with it can be along with the melodies from the great music editor. You even have the option to upload them to the Internet or share it with your friends Nintendo consoles, Wii and DS. Your limit is your imagination.
