Madden 18 is a step forward in the franchise. The different styles of play, the incredible story mode and the use of the Frostbite engine are enough to enjoy a really solid experience.

Visually it is a remarkable Action RPG of the XX century that is governed inside by the codes of the MMORPG of the XXI century. And while it is underpinned by many points in that magical 16-bit pixelated past, its spirit is really in the present.

Life is pleasant in Pinata Island, and this time it’s even better. Rare took the garden-pinata-simulator and upgraded it at every possible level: better visuals, more creatures, a great coop mode, and several new features to decorate our place. With a much better tutorial at the beginning and the incredible Pinata Vision, Trouble in Paradise is the best simulator for Xbox 360, and everyone can enjoy it thanks to its simplicity.

Shift 2 Unleashed is a great racing game, with some nice touches like the helmet cam or the presence of rubber on the tracks. But its frantic gameplay makes the Elite game mode the only one that's truly playable and realistic. Overall, the AI is excellent, and that's nice. Recommended for all the racing fans out there.

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is a wonderful remaster of one of Wii's best titles. Playing as Travis Touchdown in 2020 is as fun as it was ten years back.

Sonic runs at full speed, now in airplanes and boats. Many different circuits and many memories can be found in this second Mario Kart from Sega. Jet Set Radio, Panzer Dragoon, Golden Axe, Samba de Amigo... a great game with a deep sense nostalgia and a nice multiplayer.

There may be less revenue from micropayments this year, but player opinions will improve, as it remains at the top of the sports genre in terms of both technical and gameplay. We hope this truly marks a turning point in the policy surrounding the game, and we can enjoy increasingly better and more player-friendly releases.

Laharl, the Prince of the Netherworld, has been asleep for two years. when he wake up, his vassall Etna tells him that his father is dead... after choking with a cookie. And this is just on of the most hilarious moments that will give you Disgaea DS. It also has an amazing gameplay that takes the SRPG premise and make it a whole new thing, more complex, deep and unique. Disgaea was one of the best PS2 games -- It later became a PSP must have, and now, it's happening the same on the DS version: if you like the genre, don't doubt it.

Blur is a great arcade game, a mixture of Mario Kart's, Burnout's and Need for Speed's gameplay, but with the depth of every Bizarre Creation's works. The AI is great, there are enough game modes, and it has the multiplayer needed to become one of the best arcade racing games of the year.

Florence's costumbrist love story touched us and surprised us. Its proposal is direct and effective. Its realization, in mechanics, drawing and sound, doesn't have objections. And each hint of colour, each musical note, helped us to see the credits with tears in our eyes.

Metro Exodus is the best game in the series and one of the best shooters you'll be able to play this year. We have never seen such an atmosphere. They are so many and so different... Just overwhelming. A last an epic ride with Metro's soul, even in the new spaces. It only fails in the AI and in certain aspects of the open world, which is empty and simple.

RARE built a pocket -but charismatic- paradise for the Nintendo DS with this new addition to the Viva Piñata series. Take care of some little paper-animals, cultivate flowers, and keep your garden tidy in this brilliant adaptation of the Xbox 360 game that also includes multiplayer options and a very colorful graphic engine that takes the DS to the limit. Play just five minutes and you’ll get lost; it’s incredibly fun.
